PhD position Department of Hematology at the University

Hospital Essen
Our group is particularly interested in the molecular mechanisms underlying
hematological malignancies and the microenvironmental regulation of disease
development and progression.
The candidates will be integrated into an interdisciplinary graduate school teaching
program (BIOME). The position is available immediately, with funding for up to 3
years.
We are looking for highly motivated students with a recent excellent university degree
in the above mentioned or related fields.
Previous experience in cell culture, flow cytometry and mouse models are
advantageous. Excellent communication skills and the ability to efficiently integrate
into a multidisciplinary research team are expected.
