I am writing to express my interest in the positions of _______________. I
am a recent graduate of Bridgewater College with a degree in Liberal Studies and a license to teach Elementary k-6, k-12 Spanish and k-12 ESL. I am excitedly preparing for my first teaching position, and I believe my studies have exceptionally well prepared me for a position such as this one. I feel that I am an exemplary candidate for this position as I have had extensive experience with second language learners. I have completed four field experiences in Dual Language classrooms and one in an English Language Learners classroom. The combination of pedagogical and Spanish training during my college career formed a personalized education program that has helped me to develop a unique and well-rounded skill set that makes me particularly well-qualified for this position. I also gained experience in this domain through my four-year employment as the Director of the La Casita Spanish Outreach Program of the Boys and Girls Club of Harrisonburg and Rockingham County while overseeing numerous staff and around 150 students. Throughout these experiences, I have developed a great passion for working with English Language Learners, and I feel that my numerous pedagogical and leadership experiences would be an asset to this position. In addition to these experiences, I am also skilled in the areas of technology, Spanish language, computer skills, organization, leadership, classroom management, and designing curricula within state educational standards. I am a self-motivated, detail oriented individual who thrives under challenging circumstances, and I am excited about the possibility to be a part of your school community. Thank you for taking the time to consider my application. I am very excited to learn more about this position and share how I will be a great fit in your school. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me as I am available for contact and interview at any time. I look forward to hearing from you,
