Exploring Cultural Diversity of India!

India is a land of varied cultures and traditions, an abode of colourful and


pompous festivals and Fairs .It is the best place in the world to see the different
cultures from modern to ancient .
This Summer Vacation, lets board the flight to explore the multitude of cultural
diversities across India and discover further about our beloved countrys rich
heritage, festivals, people, places , traditions and rituals!!!

Lets begin our journey to the Land of Vibrant Ethnicity-India.
Browse the net, collect information from your
grandparents/parents or read books about your native place and
write an article for your school News paper about its culture,
language, cuisine, famous traditions, dances, places to visit and
festivals. Add a dash of colour to your article by drawing or
pasting pictures that symbolize the cultural hues of your native
state.
Make a Word Collage by pasting word cuttings from news papers
/magazines/story books with the words that depict cultural diversity of
India. Find the meanings of any ten words and write down.

We, Indians, celebrate every occasion with great pomp and fervor. Be
it festivals, birthdays, weddings or any celebration, you must have
seen your parents making a budget before any major event.
Imagine that the festival season is approaching and your parents have
given you Rs. 1500 for the shopping. Make a budget before going to
shopping . Keep the following things in mind.
Dont be extravagant.
Saving must be there so never spend the whole funds.
Always spend money on useful items.
Always purchase the good, useful and reasonable gift.

Also draw or paste the picture/wrapper of the item with prize tag that you are
going to purchase. Draw or paste (fake notes) combination for the money
saved.
