PLAYER AID
Players start with the First Player and proceed clockwise.
Important rules
1. ACTION CARDS (After playing the card, discard it.)
Instant : Any time, any player.
Movement : Movement Phase only.
Upkeep : Upkeep Phase only.
2. ARMADA CARDS
If you want to place a new card and there is no room, replace a Unit or Power Up
already there.
3. COLLABORATION
You may :
Play an Action Card (at the appropriate time) to aid another player.
Spend Combat Tokens to remove an Event Card. May be in different Sectors.
You may not :
Exchange cards, tokens or Astarium with other players.
Attack a Raider or Bosses with other players.
Use Special Abilities of your Commander, Units or Power ups for another player.
4. ENEMY DAMAGE
When a battle with an enemy is over and it is still alive, it is restored back to full
health.
5. EVENTS
You can discard an Event any time (except for the Event Phase) by discarding two
Combat tokens. All players can contribute.
6. HULL DAMAGE
At any time in any phase, you can repair your Hull by spending 1 Astarium per Hull
Point. If you reach 0 points :
Armada returns to Jumpgate
Gain 8 Hull Points
Discard all Combat and Exploration Tokens, Astartium and XPM.
7. RAIDER SURGE
If 2 or more enemies occupy the same Sector :
If a Boss is present, remove Raiders.
If there is no Boss present, upgrade the highest level Raider by one level and
discard the rest.
Draw an event card. Limit one per round, even if more Raider Surges occur.
8. STARBASE
The Starbase provides the following benefits :
Makes its Sector safe (no Raiders can spawn or move here)
Roll an extra dice in its (and adjacent) Sector.
9. SUCCESSES
Unless otherwise stated, a Success is a roll of 4, 5 or 6.
