Ulkom Bicycle Hire is a (B2C), (B2G) and (B2B) organization which the main aim is to
help everyone can hire a bicycle in convenient way which brands place at London,
Manchester and Cardiff to served British people. They have a really excellent aim
but its also the reason company want to lead. Because today the world is more
polluted by exhaust from car or works, building. So that is the way Ulkom want to
become and to help the environment is better. Or to make a chance for people who
doesnt have a good income can have a good vehicle with cheaper price than the
money we spend for our car in every year. The aim is good but the way they deploy
seem like not effective with high reach. Because today technology was developed to
far but all of business activities always write by hand. That is the point company
want to improve, if not they may be faded with many difficult like managed bike and
badly they lost bike from liar customer or something else reason.
To overcome that big weakness. So here is the SWOT analysis table of Ulkom Hire

With business strength at this time I confidence Ulkom will easy to aid the
company to achieve the business aim. Because at this time, in the hire bicycle
field, UK it is the young market and have a lot of potential and Ulkom is one of
the pioneer leading company in this field. So we can approach more customer
with less competitors. From that we can build an existing customer base is one
of our strength to create a different to our rivals. May be in the first time we
can start slowly because this is the young market. But it will make a motivation
for us to do better in further. For example, Citi Bike is a privately owned public
bicycle sharing (hire) serves parts of New York City. Also slow at the begin but
with some reasonable plans they had come back in 2012. And now they had
supplier and support 6000 bike for over New York and Brooklyn. See far in the
further, based on strength and opportunities of SWOT analysis table. We see
Ulkom had made many change to impact to the stakeholders and their interests
with the main aim of company. This is the thing company also want to lead.
Because they need the support from stakeholders and their interests for
investment part or support bike for company in high booking situation. With full
detail evaluated and identified the company will growth better in the future may
be they can look like Citi Bike or something better.
Task 2
According to what we had done for ULKOM to build an e-Commerce system for
this company. With deploy an e-Commerce system they will see what they had
done good and not good. And then they will consider what they really need to do
to change to improve their efficiency, relationship with customer or to expand
their brand to make more profit. Because of the impact of introducing eCommerce system, they most important thing they need to change immediately
is change all the system from write to computer or to the Internet. And with
introducing e-Commerce the customer can have more benefit with Ulkom like
good transaction than before or they can enjoy the upgrading service maintain
better when Ulkom had upgrade the infrastructure. With the sign is e-Commerce
system and its impact. At now, they had known what is the right road to earn
greater in the future. Just do right to the plan, may be in several years later their
company will greatest in the world wide.
But sometime its not easy than we thought. Its also have some risks. And this is
the risks I want to mention. In e-Commerce we have many risks related to
security, information, transaction...
My risk related to these title:
o Spoofing: low cost, professional looking website creation means that
copying a legitimate website and purporting to be an established
organization is now commonplace. Criminals often obtain credit card
information from customers who mistake a fake website for a genuine
one.
o Unauthorized disclosure: when information relating to an electronic
transaction is transmitted without proper internet security safeguard,
hackers can intercept the transmission and collect sensitive customer
information, such as credit and details.
o Unauthorized action: a website can be altered so that it does not
function properly or refuses service to customers and potential
customers.
o Data alteration: while in transmission, information is vulnerable to being
altered intentionally or accidentally.
This is some risks can occur. It can damage more or less and depend on how
we prepare to deal with them.
Today, the impact of economic and social of e-Commerce on society have a
strong affect to the worldwide. The easy example, we can see closely is
website Facebook. For many years since Facebook has begun to start, we see
it had changed the face of the world. After that for a few years to continue
develop. Now they had become one of the largest company in the world.
Facebook had changed the way people contact with other people, the way
people trade the product with other. And with those impact on society it had
promoted the development, economic, social of America to the next
generation.
The privacy issue also impacts to society by Internet. Physical and
technological barriers to gathering personal information about customer are
rapidly disappearing. While companies have always gathered and resold
information about their customers purchasing habits, so the e-Commerce
solution is the tools to constrain this situation. On the positive side, companies
generally collect customer information to provide more personalized service to
speed up the transaction. Such as Amazon.com recommendation services
combine information about a customer's past purchases with those of other
customers with similar interests.
Task 3
According to investigate statistics to the UK field and according to the field in
the give scenario. In my idea, the UK market is the potential field for the eCommerce solution of the company like ULKOM in the scenario. With
population about 63.7 million people, internet usage per year come to 82%,
profit from online sales about 110.5 billion in 2013. We understand how big
market in UK is. In UK with Internet had growth in insane speed for several
years, almost the transaction and payment had change into online. All of the
part almost depend on Internet. According to data from the Center for Retail
Search online sales in the United Kingdom account for 10.7% of total retail
sellers. Its worth 110.5 billion euros according to IMRG/Capgemini. For
example, the biggest player in the UKs online retail market are Amazon (16
percent market share), followed by Tesco (9%) and eBay (8%). Other big online
retailers are Asos, Argos, Play.com, Next and John Lewis and Citi Bike in US.
After we had known, now we return to ULKOM. When they had realized the
important of e-Commerce of the UK market. Because ULKOM place at United
Kingdom and the statistic aim to UK market so this is the plan of this solution.
In additional, not just only these potential in UK. In here, the potential also
related to customer, the leading skill and training markets in the future,
physical store, quite important. One more thing for ULKOM IRMG has
catalogued the growth in E-retailer sales for an even longer period so it a good
change for ULKOM to pushing faster for rebuild infrastructure. So that is all
about me investigate may helpful for ULKOM or in the future.
Three competitive organizations:
o British Bike Hire:
Different with British Bike Hire still traditional business but they
had optimized the business to minimum by focusing on main
function like hire. And additional, by introducing some best place
for biker to trip and reasonable price. They had been voted for
Best View in Britain by Rambling Association.

Based on what Ulkom Hire Bicycle need in the scenario. This is the plan of me
for building an e-Commerce solution for this company to improve their
performance and works performance better. So here is my solution:
