I am CRP certified and First Aid trained. When I worked for the Sun paper, I earned an award for most
improved in sales and marketing by Jason Shoemaker. Working at Franklin Square, I have received the
title as the Quality Ambassador for the clinical aides in Radiology department. I also am a Transport
Mobility Coach; I train all the new hires on the safe patient handling equipment.

Internship with CCBC 09/09/2016- 12/14/2016
CCBC Essex child care center with Pre-k and younger
I create lesson plans for children 2.5-3.5 years old. I transition the students from early morning
activities/free play to outside play, from outside play to circle time, circle time to snack time. After snack
time the children will head back outside for gross motor play and to build their socialization skills. When
we have the children come back in, we gather at the circle to introduce them to the topic of the day. The
students then will gather at the table to complete the activity then transition into free play while we set
lunch up. After lunch, they will have free play for about 10 minutes while the cots are being set up. Then
the children will gather themselves, take bathroom breaks and find their cot for quiet time/nap time.

For this family, I watch their now 1 year old girl. I with her mainly on Thursdays with a few other
days added here and there. I am with her from 8am-6pm. I feed her breakfast and lunch that her mother
prepares and feed her her bottles every 2 hrs. I lay her down twice a day for naps and change her out of
her sleeper after the morning nap. We go for an hour walk after the morning nap if it isnt too close to
lunch time, otherwise we go after lunch.

For this family, I cover the hours in which the parents schedules overlap. Morning hours are
0530-0800am. For mornings; I am responsible for being there in case they wake up early and to get the
children (a 6 year old boy and a 4 year old girl) up and dressed for school.
Evening hours 0600pm-1200am; I am responsible for feeding snacks, monitoring their playing, being a
referee and a giver of time outs. I also get them ready and put them to bed.
Overnight hours 1030pm- 7am; I am responsible for being there in case of emergencies, the defender
against monsters, a giver of hugs and good re-tucker inner.

Emergency room technician (CNA)

As CNA in the emergency room, I am trained to; access veins in patients for blood draws and IV
insertions and help the RN with Foley insertions, to perform CPR on adults and children. I am trained to
take vital signs and EKGs. Depending on the section of the ER that I am assigned to, we have tasks that
have to be completed daily; stocking the linen, making sure that equipment is working properly and that
the patient rooms have the necessary equipment to perform the tasks at hand. I can assist the Physician
and Physician Assistants with procedures that are performed in the Emergency room. I assist patients with
changing into the gown, bathroom needs, and making sure that they are comfortable with blankets and
socks.

I help out the ER Imaging Department by getting the patients and taking them to the testing area
such as X-ray, Ultrasound or Cat-Scan. I help the techs with paper work, making sure everything is ready
for the patient (like a clean table). I also make sure the patient is comfortable before I leave them.
