PROJECTS
DRIVE
Drive is a dashboard camera system that uses computer vision and the Intel RealSense SDK to detect when a
driver is drunk, drowsy, or distracted while driving. When it detects a drunk driver, Drive calls an Uber, and
when it detects a driver falling asleep or texting while driving, Drive plays an alarm
I developed part of the facial detection part of the hack, along with the iOS app to call the Uber, etc.
DJAY
DJay is a collaborative playlist building system that essentially uses natural selection to move the playlist
towards a partys preferred music type. All members of the party receive a 1000 points to begin, and can bid
on songs, with any number of points. The higher the bid, the sooner the song plays, and if a certain percentage
of the party favorites your song request, you get points back, giving you the ability to keep requesting songs
I developed the points system and implemented the Spotify API to search for songs, along with adding pebble
gesture control in the last hour of the hackathon to allow you to skip songs/raise volume by moving your wrist
TRANSACTR
Transactr is a system to keep track of your cash spending habits. We put an accelerometer in a wallet so that
whenever it was opened, you would get a text asking how much money you spent. Transactr then uses your
phone to record your location, date, time, and how much money you spent, and then presents all this
information in a credit card statement fashion, making it easy to keep track of your cash spending.
I analyzed the pebble accelerometer data, along with working the Verizon Cloud SDK to develop the web app

system, allowing the use of Siri to use any Internet of Things device such as the Nest Thermostat.
