INTRODUCTION:-

This assignment is all about TOTAL QUALITY MANAGEMENT. In this


assignment we have to find out the employment potential and salary level of the
MBA students who have passing out from our institutions.

OBJECTIVE OF THE ASSIGNMENT:The main objective of this assignment is to find out the so called DEFECTS why
the students of our institution is not able to perform better in the quality
environment.

AND THE DEFECTS CAN BE CATEGERIOUS IN A


FOLLOWING WAY:

Process used for education / quality of staff
Marketing effort / segments targeted

ANALYSIS OF THE ASSIGNMENT:To analysis this assignment 1st we should know what is TOTAL QUALITY
MANAGEMENT is all about: Total quality management increase the customer satisfaction by
providing good quality of services.
Its motivate the employees to perform better in the organization.
And increasing the efficiency of the workers working in the
organization.
Its also helps in increasing competition in the market.
The firm which have more constancy in their culture and external
force that firm can survive for a long period of time
Thus we can say that TQM is most important for every organization.

TQM:-

To solve the defects we have to first understand what TQM concept is how its
help in solving defects: Concept of TQM :The main and fore most concept of TQM is: There must be continuous improvement in the quality of goods and
services.
The main focuses is on customer.
TQM helps in systematic flow in the operations.

How to improve the employment potential and salary levels for the
MBA student passing from our institution:The improvement that can be done in the student to grape the potential salary
levels by improving this all defects and the defects are:Here I am taking the institute example as MIT-SOB: INTAKE OF STUDENTS :DEFECTS: - As I have selection my institute MIT-SOB. Here they are taking
students with a minimum percentage of 50% in graduation. But they are offering
job to those students who have more than 60% and above over all (its include 10th
and 12 also). So it is difficult for those students who have knowledge but not score.
SOLUTION:- So , here they can do one thing either they can select students with
50% and offer them job in that criteria or else they can select students with
minimum 60% marks. So that they is no confusion and students can also select the
company according to their well and wish. So that they dont feel any kind of
biasness.

COURSE CONTENT:DEFECTS: - Here they contents May courses which have no use and at last its
creates hectic. Some of the example are yoga, karate etc.
SOLUTION: - The best they can do is that if they want to make student fit they
can give drill period for the students. In that they can offer students to play cricket,
football, volleyball, Tt etc. For boys as well as for those girls students who is
interested in sport and they can also offer dancing, rumba for girls student.
PROCESS USED FOR EDUCATION :DEFECTS: - The process used for education is very hectic because here every
student have to solve 10 cases and 2 assignment for each subject which is very
hectic. Because of that students dont have the time to study all the subject which
they had been taught in the class.
SOLUTION: - In this they can offer student to solve 5 cases and 2 assignment.
The methodology which is using is that we have to solve 10 case of every chapter.

Here they do is that they can make the cases bit bigger but including 2 chapter can
offer 1 cases in 2 day or 4 cases in a week so that student can also get some time to
for their own and they can put more efforts in their studies and they can score more
marks .
We they provide time to student for they own works students can be highly
motived that they were getting time. So they will perform well by keep in mind
that they were getting time to do fun so when the time come for study they can
perform in a good manner by score good marks in the exam.
PROCESS USED FOR EDUCATION:DEFECTS: - Here the process used for education is that they see only the
experience of the staff member. But according to me experience is less important
the most important thing is that they should know how to make students
understand what they means to say. If they were explain something related to Om
(forecasting) and students are get some else (forecasting of OR) then the process
used for education is totally miss-understood.
SOLUTION: - Its important to have experience teachers but more important is
that the teacher should have both the quality. For example teacher must have good
teaching skill with experience so that students can understand clearly what topic is
taught by the teacher.
In process used for education teacher can also use practical techniques so that
students can able perform in presser situation and can handle the situation better
than other institute.
MARKETING EFFORTS:DEFECTS: - According to me marketing efforts are not effective because the
students who are taking admission her they dont know the rule and regulation. So
its create misunderstanding
SOLUTION: - for example: - in this institute they follow 90% attendance but at
the time of admission they give fall information of having only 80% which its not
true. They should give student more know about the institutions rule and
regulation rather than making more efforts in marketing. So the student who want
to created them future in corporate they can join easily. It will help in growing
organization name as well

CONCLUSION:Thus I want to conclude, that TQM is all about customer satisfaction and loyalty
here customer are students. If student are not satisfied they will not perform good
or they will not be able to coup with their syllabus. I think if they will apply my
suggestion and implement 2 -3 point then also it will help them to overcome their
defects. And it will help students to develop belongingness with the institution.
And student will also able to do extra circular activity more freely without any
tension.
