individually write information about their gender, socioeconomic status, ethnicity and religion.
Students will be divided into four groups. They will gather all
the data that they have and will put in a table.
Each group will have a representative to present their output

in front of the class.

Students will discuss similarities and differences based on


gender, socio-economic status, ethnicity and religion.
Students will discuss the effect of those similarities in the life
of people in the community.
The students will make a concept map about cultural
variation and social differences.
The students will cite real life situations depicting cultural
variation and social differences.
Cultural variation refers to the rich diversity in social
practices that different cultures exhibit around the world.
Social differences is defined as the differences among
individuals on the basis of social characteristics and qualities
which include class, race, culture, age and sex.

The teacher will give an assignment where students will
compare the culture of Philippines in terms of language,
religion, food, music etc.
