*Cutter should try t o FACE CUT (shown) the defender, b u t could BACK CUT

*Anytime a player passes, a HARD cut should follow

*Who, when, and where ball screens are set will be dependant o n the rules

*Three most common Ball Screen rules:
- Anytime 5 passes o n perimeter, follow and ball screen (shown)
- Anytime 2 catches the ball o n the perimeter, 5 releases f r o m post
position and sprints t o ball screen (shown)
- Anytime 5 has the opportunity t o ball screen, regardless o f where the
ball is o r who has i t

*Ball needs t o be between the Slots as much as possible
*Allows f o r screening actions o n both sides o f the floor t o be viable
scoring options
*Centering the ball by the dribble o r pass is often needed o n each
possession

*Concept o f reversing the f r o m 1 side o f the floor t o the other side
*Ball reversals cause the defense t o change f r o m ballside t o helpside,
increase their chance f o r making a mistake
