The use of PSPO's in Southampton upto 26th October 2016

Q1: how many, if any, PSPO's have been issued within Southampton
since its approval on 29th April of this year?
Response:
Southampton City Council have created five public spaces
protection orders which can be viewed at: HYPERLINK

Q2: Total amount in currency of any fines issued since 29.04.16.
Response:
10 x 100 = 1,000.
Q3: Available details of any prosecutions for non payment of PSPO
fines since 29.04.16?
Response:
No prosecutions have been taken for non payment of fixed penalty
notices
Q4: Available details of which areas any PSPO's had been issued
since 29.04.16?
Response:
7 fixed penalty notices have been issued by neighbourhood police
teams for failure to comply with the City Centre PSPO and 3 fixed
penalty notices issued by neighbourhood police teams for failure
to comply with the Portswood PSPO.
Q5: Available details for what reasons they had been issued, ie
for begging or for street drinking or for any other reasons since
29.4.16?
Response:
All of the fixed penalty notices have been issued for begging.
Q6: Any possible Information learned that the use of PSPO's has
been beneficial to any particular areas in Southampton in which
they may have been issued since 29.04.16?
Response:
I am writing to advise you that, following a search of our paper
and electronic records, I have established that the information
you requested is not held by Southampton City Council.
