1. This assignment contains only ONE (1) question that is set in both Malay and English. / Tugasan ini
mengandungi SATU (1) soalan sahaja yang disediakan dalam bahasa Melayu dan bahasa Inggeris.

3. Learners are to submit assignment only in MS-WORD format unless specified otherwise. Please
refrain from converting text/phrases into picture format such as .gif / .jpeg / print screen / etc. / Anda
dikehendaki menyerahkan tugasan dalam format MS-WORD melainkan dinyatakan sebaliknya. Anda
tidak dibenarkan untuk menukar teks/frasa tugasan tersebut kepada format grafik seperti .jpeg / .gif /
print screen / dan lain-lain format berkaitan.
4. Download the language version of the assignment template concerned from the myINSPIRE for
preparation and submission of your assignment. Your assignment should be typed using 12 point
Times New Roman font and 1.5 line spacing. / Muat turunkan templat tugasan versi bahasa yang

ASSIGNMENT QUESTION
One of the vital skills for educators in early childhood education is the ability to set
up a good environment for children to grow, thrive in and learn.
For this assignment, students are required to assess the quality of indoor and
outdoor physical environments of a nursery or preschool, against what is described
in Topic 5 of the module.
In the study, students need to pick only ONE nursery or preschool. Referring to
features described in the module, develop an instrument to assess the indoor and
outdoor environments in terms of their safety, cleanliness and adequacy in
supporting the childrens holistic development. Explain the data collection method
used in this study.
Summarise your findings in terms of the strengths and weaknesses in the school you
have assessed. Suggest improvements you would make to support effective learning
for children in that school.
Refer to the guidelines provided in the rubrics given below on the expected
assignment content and the basis on which marks are distributed for the report.

SOALAN TUGASAN
Salah satu kemahiran yang penting bagi pendidik dalam pendidikan awal kanak-kanak
adalah keupayaan untuk menyediakan persekitaran yang baik untuk kanak-kanak
membesar, berkembang dan belajar.
Untuk tugasan ini, pelajar dikehendaki untuk menilai kualiti persekitaran fizikal dalaman
dan luaran sebuah TASKA atau TADIKA, dengan membandingkan apa yang dinyatakan
di dalam Topik 5 dalam modul.
Dalam kajian ini, pelajar hendaklah memilih hanya SEBUAH TASKA atau TADIKA.
Merujuk kepada ciri-ciri yang diterangkan dalam modul, bentukkan satu instrumen
untuk menilai persekitaran dalaman dan luaran tersebut dari segi keselamatan,
kebersihan dan kelengkapannya bagi menyokong perkembangan holistik kanakkanak. Terangkan cara pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam kajian ini.
