FRENCH READING: This week, I ask that your child

practice reading their levelled A to Z readers nightly.
Please fill in the table I have provided in their OCEAN
(see adjacent) with the title, level of your childs book
as well as your rating and initials once he/she has
finished. Happy reading!
WORD WORK:
This week, we will continue reviewing the most used words in the
French vocabulary. To best help your child master these words in
both reading and writing, I have provided the fifth group of words
to you on cardstock to cut out and add to the binder ring that I
have provided for safe keeping (see below). Please review these
words with your child as often as possible to best support your
childs vocabulary development. Feel free to ask your child to point
these words out if/when he/she comes across them in their nightly
reading. Happy searching!
Please cut out and add your childs
words to the binder ring like this.

WORD WORK:
This week, we will continue dissecting the French language through
an analysis of a variety of short paragraphs and texts. Using them,
we will be learning proper French grammar and language convention
techniques, as well as discussing the conjugation of verbs and verb
tenses which will help to not only reinforce the words most used in
the French language but bring your childs attention to the
strategies the will need to become more proficient French writer.
This week, I am asking that your child complete the worksheet with
the text entitled: Billes ou ballons? that we have dissected in
class. Happy gaming!
