Community grants now open

Local community groups, sporting and special interest clubs, and other eligible not-forprofit organisations are invited to apply for funding as part of the current round of
Councils community grants programs.
Two community grant programs are currently open, The Club Caroline Springs Grants
program and the HRV and Tabcorp Park Grants program, offering eligible
organisations with the opportunity to apply for funding for projects that increase
community participation, provide services and facilities that strengthen community
wellbeing, promote and develop local pride and promote community leadership.
Melton City Council Chief Executive Officer, Kel Tori, urged eligible organisations to
apply for the grants to assist their valuable work in the community.
Community groups and sporting clubs are the backbone of our municipality, Mr Tori
said.
Often though, these dedicated organisations need a little assistance to help deliver
their programs and services to the broader community. This is where our grants
programs can really help.
I encourage all groups, clubs, and organisations in the City of Melton to consider
applying for a grant to assist their valuable work in our community.
The Club Caroline Springs Grants: close 12am, Wednesday 30 November
Grants are available in two categories:
- Community support: grants up to $5,000.
- Capital, infrastructure and equipment: grants up to $10,000.

Successful applicants would receive funds late February 2017
