The race of the 2017 Presidential Candidate continues, as Election Day is only one day away.
Where Trump and Hillary stand is the remaining question. Hillary Clinton holds a close lead over
Donald Trump in three head-to-head polls of likely voters. Clinton was ahead of Trump 48percent to 43-percent in a poll release on Sunday via NBC News/Wall Street Journal. Despite the
closeness of the race, Clinton had an easier time than Trump to get to the 270-electoral votes
needed to become president. The New York Times gives Clinton an 84-precent chance of
winning the presidency. In the closing days of the campaign, Clinton visited Michigan, North
Carolina, and Pennsylvania. With Clinton having a majority of the polls wins, leading most
categories, Trump had the lead for men voting with 47-percent to 42-percent. The future of the
United States now lie in the hands of us Americans to go out and vote tomorrow and may the
best candidate win!

In International News
A Massachusetts Pastor will ask a federal judge to reject a lawsuit that accuses him of pursuing a
long campaign to persecute gays in Uganda. In 2012, an East African gay advocacy group filed
the lawsuit against minister Scott Lively under a law that allows non-citizens to file U.S. court
actions for violations of international law. Lively has called the lawsuit absurd and his church
is known as Redemption Gate Mission Society. Lively has preached against homosexuality but
has also advised therapy and not punishment. A hearing will be held on Wednesday in U.S.
District Court in Springfield on Livelys request for summary judgment to keep this case from
going on trial.

U.S-backed militia groups in Syria said they launched an operation to seize ISIS de facto capital,
Raqqa. Syrian Democratic forces have established joint operations, which includes multiple
Arab, Kurdish and Turkmen militia groups. Just days after the Iraqi forces entered the city of
Mosul, where they are in a fierce batter with ISIS militants; this operation was announced. This
operation is to liberate Raqqa from ISIS; it will be done with American aerial cover. This effort is
the next step in the coalition campaign plan. The actions in Mosul as well as in Raqqa are

necessary to end the groups ability to carry out terror attacks against the United States, our allies
and partners. U.S has noted that there may be an overlap between operations in Mosul and
Raqqa.
