TOPIC/FOCUS: Visit McClelland Sculpture Park and Gallery and conduct an analysis of four artworks by two different artists.
Outcome 1:
On completion of this unit the student should be able to prepare an exploration proposal that formulates the
content
and parameters of an individual studio process including a plan of how the proposal will be undertaken.
Outcome 3:
On completion of this unit the student should be able to examine the practice of at least two artists, with
reference to two artworks by each artist, referencing the different historical and cultural context of each artwork.
Learning Intentions
The students will be able to:
Analyse four artworks by two different artists
Investigate the ways the artists have interpreted subject matter
Analyse how the artworks reflect the artists interpretation of their cultural and historical context.
Analyse how the artists use materials, techniques and processes.
