Frankenstein TEDTalk

Standard: College and Career Readiness Anchor Standard (Common Core): Determine central ideas or themes of a text and analyze
their development; summarize the key supporting details and ideas
Objective: Students will demonstrate the ability to generate and identify key details relating to theme by creating their own TEDTalk
where the theme serves as their speechs message.
Assignment: With a partner, you will create your own TEDTalk as one or two of the characters from Mary Shelleys Frankenstein

.
The overall message of your characters TEDTalk must tie into one of the themes we have discussed for this book. Your TEDTalk can
be pre-recorded or you can present live to the class, but I must be provided with a typed script of the speech and document recording
the role each person played in creating this TEDTalk - especially if only one of you will be the actual speaker.
