The Focus of This Lesson is Saying "What if" - -().

"What if he isn't guilty?"
When you're making an assumption about the possibility that your or somebody else's
decision is wrong, or when you're thinking about the possibility of certain things that might or
might not happen, you say "what if..." in English, and the equivalent expression in Korean is
-() (manyak-e -(eu)myeon).
-()
(manyak-e) means "if" and -() (-(eu)myeon) also means "if," therefore even

without the word (manyak-e), as long as the main verb is conjugated using the form
-() (-(eu)myeon), the sentence keeps the same meaning. But we usually add (
manyak-e) at the beginning of the sentence to emphasize the meaning. Often, we just
shorten (manyak-e) to (manyak) as well. And when used as a question, we can
translate -() ( manyak-e -(eu)myeon) to "What if...?"
