Breakwater Academy, which has been part of STEP Academy Trust since September 2016, is looking for
highly motivated and enthusiastic PE and Sports Coaches to develop our health and wellbeing team. The
school is at the start of an exciting journey and needs inspiring practitioners to help guide it into its next
stage of development.
As part of STEP Academy Trust, you will be joining an inspirational and ambitious organisation, which
strives for excellence in order to achieve the best possible outcomes for its pupils.
You will have experience of delivering a range of physical activities to young people of primary school age
and be a minimum of Level 2 qualified. A positive and proactive approach is essential along with the ability
to work effectively as part of a large team and model and promote excellent behaviour. In partnership
with our current sports coach and the Senior Management Team, you will plan, deliver and monitor a
programme of high quality professional coaching with the aim of increasing participation in PE and school
sport by all children at the Academy. As well as planning PE as part of the curriculum structure, you will
have the opportunity to develop the wider sporting life of our pupils.
