1. Attendance and punctuality in class is a basic requirement for each student. Three lates are equivalent to one cut.
For sophomores, more than 5 cuts will result in a grade of FA. For juniors and seniors, incurring more than 7
cuts will result in a grade of FA.
2. Class participation is mandatory.
3. Students are expected to read the assigned materials BEFORE coming to class. Quizzes and graded recitation
should be expected every meeting.
4. Timely submission of any class requirement is imperative for all students.
5. Basic courtesy towards the instructor and classmates is expected.
6. Students are expected to cite all relevant sources for their papers using APA conventions. Please use the site
bibme.org for guidance.
7. Unless allowed by the instructor, students are prohibited from using any mobile phones, tablets, laptops, or any
electronic gadget in class.
8. Students will be notified of their class standing after the ninth week of classes.
