Homework

Maths

This week year 7 and 8's will be


finishing their work on solving
equations. We have been working on
one step and multistep equations using
the balancing method. For homework
please complete p27 and 28 on solving
equations. Please do not leave it until
the last minute allow yourself time to
come for support before it is due.

Science

Year 7 will be continuing their work on


the bodys organ systems, this week
looking at the circulatory system and
joints and muscle pairs. Their
homework will be questions based on
this work, organised at 3 tiers of
difficulty.

Humanities

write an eye-witness account of the


assassination of Archduke Ferdinand in
Sarajevo from the perspective of a
surprised onlooker. Due in Tuesday 22nd
Nov.

Mr M Fletcher

The Year 7/8 have been looking at the


causes of World War One with Mr
Fletcher. This week well be picking up
on this with the deaths of the Archduke
Franz Ferdinand and his wife Sophie
before getting stuck into the ins and
outs of Trench Warfare. Homework, set
on Tuesday and due in on Friday, will be
to write a creative account about going
over the top. Not having taught the
group before I want to get them writing
so that I can see what they can do.

Art & Design

Pupils are required to complete a full


page pattern. Using the tracing paper
provided pupils must produce a repeat
pattern from their close up images.
Patterns must be neatly copied,
