These flyers are an example of the types of advertising used for The Makerys Open
Studio - Self-guided art studio time with access to art/craft supplies.

Another successful AD campaign included a guerilla style campaign in which pinecones

were placed around downtown State College and on Penn States campus persuading those
who found them to come to The Makery for a free surprise.

Online News Room

Prior to my internship at The Makery no online news room was available for potential
press / journalists to view. Working alongside management I was able to propose the idea and
get the online news room up and running within a few weeks.
My contribution included gathering The Makerys past media exposure into one place.

This consisted of a factsheet, a news release, as well as all existing photos, logos and past news
articles.
