Time to Rethink the Book

The publishing industry is actually struggling with what to call
todays book. At issue is how to refer to content available in
multiple file formats on a myriad of devices with enhancements like
audio, video, and links. Buzzwords abound! SAS has opted to stick
with book, but its time to expand the definition.
The book has moved beyond its binding to include bytes. The book
is still portable, but you can now carry an entire SAS library on your
iPad. The book still contains illustrations, but now the illustrations
move. The book still contains a Table of Contents, but now the
entries in the Table of Contents link directly to the information youre
looking for.
The book is evolving, and were delighted to bring you SAS books
in a variety of formats to assist you in making the most of your
investment with SAS.
The real value of a book from SAS continues to be its content.
Examples include the new SAS Press titles from Art Carpenter,
Tricia Aanderud and Angela Hall, Robert Allison, Gerhard Svolba,
and others. Also, check out the titles from the SAS documentation.
Theyre all highlighted in the following pages.

or discrete correlated data in a longitudinal or
