Manufacturers

Somu Solvents PVT.LTD.

Somu Solvents are N Butyl Propionate Manufacturers,

that has chemical formula of C7H14O2 and relative
molecular mass of a 130.187g/mol.It is a colourless
water-white liquid with characteristic odour. its Less
dense than water and is incredibly slightly soluble in
water. It has Flash point of 90F.

It is terribly dangerous once exposed to 32C explosive

vapour/air mixtures could also be formed. it mustn't be
exposed to open flames, sparks and smoking, The vapour
is irritating to the tract, skin and eyes therefore
preventative measures sud be taken terribly rigorously by
using ventilation, native exhaust or respiratory
protection, victimisation protecting gloves, carrying
safety spectacles.
It is a moderately quick evaporating solvent. Its linear
structure contributes to effective viscousness reduction
and improve solvent diffusion from coating films.
n-Butyl Propionate is a non-HAP, slow evaporating, and

ester grade solvent with sensible solvent activity for

many coating resins. In lacquers and close cure enamels,
this solvent is employed as a retarder solvent. Its slow
evaporation rate permits for flow and leveling however
doesn't forestall the short rubbing and sanding of the
lacquer. several resins ar dissatisfaction in a very solvent
dilution tank to create handling, storing, and shipping
easier. n-Butyl Propionate is beneficial as a dissatisfaction
solvent due to its low volatility, sensible solvent activity,
and ester grade quality.
Since n-Butyl Propionate isn't on EPA's HAP list, it's a
decent alternative for commutation solvent in coating
applications
