Course Content

This programme enables international students to learn about the


Malaysian culture through our local films.
During this time, participants get to watch Made-in-Malaysia films,
meet filmmakers, visit our local heritage and cultural sites, interact
with Malaysian students and experience the local culture.
Participants will also get the opportunity to get hands-on
experience in short filmmaking.
This programme also offers participants an opportunity to
experience college life in one of the leading colleges in Penang,
Malaysia.

Learning Outcome

On completion of this programme, students will be able to:


Master basic short film making techniques
Appreciate the aesthetics of local films and
develop intercultural sensitivity;
Demonstrate an understanding of the Malaysian film
industry and culture
