Please read through this user's manual for safety before installing this product.
This product is manufactured for Plasma display model only.

Features of Plasma monitor


You can enjoy a wide full-flat screen with high brightness and high quality.
It clearly and finely displays the high quality image by PDP panel with a high
resolution of 1,640,000 pixels incomparable to general TVs.
It has no limit for location and move because of its thin shape.
It supports various inputs (VIDEO, DVD, DIGITAL TV, PC, etc.) for the
multimedia times.
Customers can enjoy their favorite programs by various screen-split features
simultaneously presenting several programs.

This manual describes how to use the product and notes for using.
Please read the manual before using it.
After reading the manual, keep it with the certificate for you to refer to it
whenever you want.
If you have any question or any problem is occurred, please contact to the
dealer or the A/S center immediately.
Pausing a screen for a long time may cause an afterimage effect.

How to install the monitor


You can install it by 2 methods according to location or purpose. Select the location to install, purchase the device to install,
and inquire at the professional installer for installing.
You should purchase and install the exclusive device (stand, hanger). Otherwise, it may cause to damage the product or to
injure a person.

How to use the basic menu

When you press MENU button, the basic menu is displayed on the screen.
The basic menu has four items such as VIDEO, MULTI, FUNCTION, and SCREEN. Each item has its subitems.
When you select the desired item, that item is displayed in yellow.

Slide the cap at the rear side of the remote controller to open.
Insert batteries with the correct polarity and close the cap.

Set the split mode of the screen.

UTILITY:

Set screen mode, screen size, language, OSD direction, and


afterimage removal. See 28~32 page.

DISPLAY:

Adjust auto, screen left/right position, frequency, and phase. It is

You can display the desired screen format, and you can simultaneously display DVD, VIDEO, and PC according

You can select various screens with a professional's sense without user's adjustment.

Setting Afterimage Anti Image Burn (PC mode)

About Plasma display panel

Before calling for any repair, check the followings, and then call for the near A/S center.

The followings are phenomena caused by the characteristics of the plasma display panel. Because it is not any
failure, you may use it at rest.

Check the life or the polarity of batteries.


Check whether the light of the fluorescent lamp is directed applied to the
receiving glass of the remote controller or not.
Check whether the receiving glass of the remote controller is blocked or not.
Do you use the exclusive remote controller for the main body? (Other remote
controllers can not be used.)
Check whether the main switch of the main body is turned on or not.

Tick soundsat the main body.


If there is no problem for the screen or the sound, it sounds for the
cabinet to lightly shrink by the change of the room temperature. It does
not effect on the performance.

No image at the top or the bottom of the screen.


As for the screen with the width longer than 16:9 (such as the cinema
size one), no image may be displayed at the top or the bottom of the
screen.

Black or twinkling spots on the screen


Although the plasma display panel is manufactured by the highprecision technology, there may exist black or twinkling spots on the
screen. Because it is not any failure, you may use it at rest.

Afterimage
When you keep the still screen of the video or the PC image remained
for a long time, an afterimage may be occurred. In this case, the video
with much action slowly removes the afterimage. (See 33 page)

It sounds from the inside.


When you turn on the power, a driving sound may sound from the
display panel. Because it is not any failure, you may use it at rest.

Speckles or white lines on the screen


Check whether it is affected by vehicle, streetcar, high-voltage cable or
neon sign (interference wave or electromagnetic induction). Avoid any
interfering object.

Screen size is sometimes changed.


The screen size may be fitted at the first dark scene based on
contents.

Install Switcher into Bracket Holder.


Assemble Switcher and Bracket Terminal as following figures.
There are grooves for Switcher at the bottom of the bracket terminal.
Insert Switcher into the grooves and fasten both sides with NRS 6-15 bolts.

Firstly, install monitor to be placed at the bottom.


Attach monitor so that it is aligned with hooks of Bracket Holder on the rear of monitor.

Arrange cables after
completing stand and monitor assembly.

After installation, arrange cables connected to various devices (power supply unit, VCR, DVD
and PC, etc.) into the grooves located at the rear of post. Then, hide them with a cover to
complete installation. When the cover does not close, tap it with the palm of hand to push it into
groove.
Loose cables may cause human injury by tripping or inferior connection.

Check the material of a wall and the thickness of a finishing material.


If the material of a wall is unbreakable concrete, light-weight concrete, strong natural
stone, soft natural stone, brick or hollow brick, you may use supplied anchors or bolts.
Only if the thickness of a finishing material is 20mm or thinner, you may use supplied
anchors or bolts.
Do not install the product at the wall of a plaster board.
If you install the product at the not-designated wall, install it at the place with 70N of pullout weight and 100N of lateral weight or heavier per fixed point. (The number of fixed
points should follow the figure at Page 63)

Locate the place by considering the product size, and install the product to keep the horizontal
and vertical balance.
Keep the enough space (15cm or wider) against the wall or the external object.
If the enough space is not kept, it may cause the internal temperature to rise, which may cause
fire or failure.

Since there is no space between monitor and wall, cables should be installed first.

Locate the place by considering the product size, and install the product to keep the horizontal
and vertical balance.
Keep the enough space (15cm or wider) against the wall or the external object.
If the enough space is not kept, it may cause the internal temperature to rise, which may cause
fire or failure.

Assemble fixing
devices for wall type and Bracket Holder.

In case bolts cannot be fastened to the designated positions, they can be fastened to the nearest
positions as alternatives.
However, do not alter 2 or more positions in addition to the designated.

Bracket Holder combined with monitor bracket should be lifted by two people, hang its upper
part to the top of wall fixing unit and insert.
Fasten the bottom of monitor bracket to wall fixing unit.
Make sure to check whether Bracket Holder is completed secured by pulling the lower area.

Align wall-fixing unit with the anchors installed.


Fasten them with the enclosed nuts.

3. Monitor Installation
Make sure monitors are
lifted by two or more persons for installation.

Connect Monitor connection cable.


Every cable should be connected before monitor installation.
Since there is no space between monitor and wall, cables should be installed first.
Connect cable according to monitor positions
Connect IR sensor at the same time.
Connect power cord to monitor.

Firstly, install monitor to be placed at the bottom.


Attach monitor so that it is aligned with hooks of Bracket Holder on the rear of monitor.

Take caution not to cause damage to the front panel of monitor when
lifting or putting down monitor.

For other details on connection, refer to users manual.


When you lift monitor for installation,
assemble Eye-bolt into the side of the
upper portion (M8) of the monitor.
Two Eye-bolts are reusable.

Install monitor to be placed on top.

Install Switcher into Bracket Holder.

When installing top monitor, align guide pins of the lower monitor with grooves in the top
monitor.

Assemble Switcher and Bracket Terminal as following figures.


Connect Switcher and Monitor cable and assemble into the grooves.
There are grooves for Switcher at the side of the bracket terminal.
Insert Switcher into the grooves and fasten both sides with NRS 6-15 bolts.

Take caution not to cause damage to the front panel of monitor when
lifting or putting down monitor.
