Motivation/Introductory
Activity

The teacher will divide some of the students into


4 pairs. The students will play a game called
Pinoy Henyo. This game can be played by two
people. The first person will think of a word (or in
some cases, a word is given to him/her). The
second person will supply clues that will narrow
down the possibilities of guessing the correct
word. The first person will only answer YES, NO,
MAYBE or OO, HINDI, PUEDE. The game will
end if the second person mentioned the correct
exact term. The fastest pair will win the game.
The following words/places are:
South Cotabato
Ilocos Norte
Mindoro
Pampanga
After the game the teacher will award the two
person who won with a plus points on their
activity after the lesson
The teacher will open the topic by giving the
relations of the places in the game with the lesson

Presentation

The teacher will ask a question that triggers the


key understanding of the lesson
After that the students will watch a clip that
features a living national artist at work (The 2012
GAMABA Awardees: Magdalena Gamayo and
Teofilo Garcia- https://www.youtube.com/watch?
