General requirement ; a doorset shall subjected to 100,000 cycles of
continuous opening and closing
Test specimen; doorset of 2100mm(H) 1000mm(W) constructed exactly
as that for fire resistance test
Procedure:
Before the test, self closure system (door closer) shall be adjusted to
bring the door to the closed position in 4 to 6 seconds
Opening of not less than 75 but not more than 90
After completion of test, doorset shall be capable of closing properly,
maintaining all clearance, show no wear or damage on any parts that
may impair its reliability of functioning
