Dear Honorable/Administrative Judge,

My name is Gregory Wright and on 3/14/16 my vehicle was detected by a red light
enforcement camera in violation of Maryland State Law, TA Section 21-201.1 in the city of
Upper Marlboro on. The case/citation number is PGR16000813711.
I am positive I made a complete stop before taking a right turn onto Osborne road due to the
fact that I take that turn almost everyday and after reviewing the footage I see there was a
car in front of me that would have forced me to stop abruptly before taking the right turn.
However, I accept full responsibility for my actions and Im very sorry. But that is not why I
am writing you. I received a PAST DUE NOTICE informing that I failed to pay or contest the
penalty of $75.00 and such failure is a an admission of liability. In all honesty I looked
through all the mail received at 5204 Melwood Park Ave addressed to me and have yet to
find the first notice.
I called Automated Enforcement Customer Service Center and spoke with Mr.Harris. He
informed me to write to you. I am requesting a trial where I can plead my case or a reduction
of the fine. I am currently enrolled as a student at Georgetown University and I work 40
hours a week at Target in Forestville, Md. I spend all my free time taking care of my
Grandfather who is chronically ill, and all of my additional expenses go toward his care and
school books. Please take this into consideration when reviewing my case.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I hope to hear from you soon.
Sincerely,
Gregory Wright
