ASISInternationalhaslaunchedCertificatesofCompletionforeducationprogramsandcoursesthat
meetexcellenceinsecuritypractices.ASISInternationalsCertificateProgramsCommitteewiththe
endorsementoftheASISCouncils,ASISStandardsCommission,andASISProfessionalCertificationBoard
hassetforththisapplicationprocesstovalidateprogramsagainstthehigheststandardsinsecurity.

ADDIEmodeltobuildandreviewcertificateprograms.Themodelisaninternationalstandardfor
buildingqualityeducationprograms.

PART1:AnalysisandDesignrepresentsthefirsttwocomponentsoftheADDIEmodel.Thesection
immediatelybelowcontainscommentsthatmayassistwithunderstandingoftheapplicationitems
startingonpage7.

ThisapplicationcoversonlyStep1ofthesubmissionandevaluationprocess.Youneedonlysubmit
additionalstepsoncethecommitteehasacceptedStep1application.

Eachcertificatemusthaveastatedmeasureofcompletionorrequisite.Clearlystatethe
knowledge,skillorability(KSA)astudentmustsuccessfullydemonstratebeforereceivingthe
certificate.DescribetheKSAorcompetencyandthelevelofperformancethatwillberequiredto
earnthecertificate.
TheAppendiceswithBloomsTaxonomymayprovideyouwithguidanceinpreparing
thisresponse.ASIShasprovidedtheoriginaltermsfromBloomsTaxonomyof1956,
andtherevisedtermsfrom2001.Usethesetthatyoufindfamiliar.Thesetermsare
notrequired,butarethereforyourconsideration.
