4. WAYS TO IMPROVE ENGLISH ACHIEVEMENT
4.1 Activity such as A Word A Day can be carried out to improve the pupils vocabulary.
4.2 Spelling test should be carried out at least once a week to improve the pupils vocabulary.
4.3 Drilling on paper 2.
4.4 Tuition classes for Year 4 6 from 1 3 pm every school days.
4.5 Tuition class for Year 6 on selected Saturdays and school holidays.
4.6 Fully utilized English corner in the class by displaying new words, grammar, examples of
good essay etc.
4.7 Encourage students to find the definition of new words by referring to the dictionary.
4.8 Motivate students to strive harder by giving moral support, counseling and guidance.

4.9 Program Anak Angkat to be carried out to guide weaker pupils.

- Story telling competition for level 1 and 2 22 April 2016,Friday

5.3 The English panel has planned some strategies to improve the pupils achievement in

8.4 Teachers are urged to fill in the borang bimbingan berfokus for the pupils who had failed
their Linus BI in the second streaming.

OTHER MATTER
9.2 Based on the survey carried out, all the English teachers do not use the MBMMBI cds in
their PdP. Hence, all the teachers are advised to use the cds in their PdP.
