OVERVIEW
TheThruxtonisbornofthecafracerculturethatdominatedmotorcyclinginthe1960s.
Backthen,Britishtwins,usuallyBonnevilleengines,wereusedtoformthebasisofhomebuiltbikes.Usedtorace
fromonecaftoanother,theyfeaturedextensivemodificationssuchasdroppedbars,singleseatsandupswept
exhausts.
Tothisday,wevekeptmanyofthesestylingcuesforthemodernThruxton.NamedafterthehighspeedBritish
circuitwhereTriumphenjoyedgreatsuccessinproductionracing,itfollowsinthetyretracksofthelegendary
1960sThruxtonT120R.
Andjustlikethosecafracersofthe60s,themodernThruxtonisBonnevillebasedbutnowadays,ourengineers
havemadesureitrideslikeamodernTriumphtwin.Soitsdependableenoughforeverydayuse,easyandfunto
rideyetstillevokestheclassiccafracerlook.

Thecafracerswerebuilttoperform,notjusttolookgood.
Today,this865ccparalleltwinputsoutahealthy69PSwith69Nmoftorqueatitspeak,withplentyavailableat
lowrevssoyougetmostuseoutofit.
Fuellingiscontrolledbyasophisticatedcomputerprogrammedmanagementsystemforcleanemissionsanda
