Job Description for FGS Tax- Transfer Pricing - Analyst

Nomura Services India, (Powai) supports Nomuras businesses around the world. Powai s world class
capabilities in trading support, research, information technology, financial control, operations, risk management
and legal support have played a key role in facilitating Nomuras global operations and are an integral part of
Nomuras global expansion plans. The Powai operation is a critical part of the platform to support the growth of
Nomuras global business.

Divisional Overview:
The core responsibility of the Financial Control function is to maintain a strong controllership framework to ensure
integrity of the financial statements reported to internal / external stakeholders.

Business Unit Overview:


The transfer pricing team is a global team and performs the calculations for the various financial activities
Nomura engages itself in. With continuous evolving business environment, the team needs to be abreast with the
knowledge updates and perform various modelling which best suits Nomura model and is acceptable by the tax
authorities.

Role & Responsibilities:


Perform Daily Transfer pricing calculations
Prepare daily MIS reports for Transfer Pricing team
Ensure adherence to agreed timelines / SLA
Abreast with Tax changes / Regulations that impact the function
Liaison with different teams within Finance, sourcing and analyzing information
Maintain regular and effective communication with offshore and onshore teams to highlight and resolve issues
Participate in Powai initiative in line with finance goals.
