Cognitive:
Students will be able to decide the difference between a secene that is either safe or

unsafe by the end of class
Affective:
TLW be able to act appropioriatly and under control while participating with the group

during the safe and unsafe instant activity
Psychomotor: Students will walk around slowly and be able to practice with a partner in deciding if a

secene is safe or not


ASSESSMENT/EVALUATION (TTW) What method? Should match learning objectives:
Cognitive:
TTW have students turn in there slips of paper after the culminatuing activity and will

check if they got if the scence was safe or not.
Affective:
TTW make sure the students are all in there groups participating and taking turn and

cooperating within the group.
Psychomotor: TTW make sure kids are waking slowly around and give a sticker to all students who are

properly particpating

SAFETY CONSIDERATIONS (address physical, emotional and social enviorment):

Make sure the students desk are not in the way. Make sure that during the culminating activity all the chairs of
the students are pushed in.





MODIFICATIONS/ACCOMODATIONS:

If a student is unable to walk they will have the other students come to them when participating in the final
activity. Have extra spots on the students slips of paper so if they can get more than 6 pictures done before
time is up.





INTEGRATION: (Identify the Subject and Describe how it relates or is used within the lesson)

Science Go over with students how even though a match may seem harmless once a chemical reaction accurs
fire is made and things could be very dangerous and flammable.

Students will be broken up into four groups of 4 and two groups of 5.
Each student will be given a paper with pictures of a safe and unsafe
activity, the student will circle the safe activity and discuss it with the
others in their group. Once finished call on each group to describe a
certain picture

students as an example. Demonstrate the activity and go over how
they exchange the picture with their partner.

Half of the class will get pictures. All students get a sheet for them
to write if the picture is safe or not and why. They will also write the
scene they had then exchange it with the partner and the partner
will do the same. Then they will discuss if the scene was safe or not
with eachother


Transition:Have students sit down in there original groups and place all pictures in the middle of the table
