Writing Assignment
Term 1
Look at the picture and use your imagination to write a story that the picture has
helped you think about.

This One Day


Well time to go to school. said Gene. With another sentence following that one. Gene
opened his mouth to speak to himself but his thought were cut off by his mothers
voice. Time to go to school honey! Gene didnt hear his mom but he still said Ok,
mom! The smell of the diffuser made him hungry. He was hungry because he slept
in. Gene looked outside of his window and saw his bus. He lived out in the country so
he had to take the bus to school. He put his shirt on but forgot his pants until he
ran downstairs. Quickly, Gene ran back up the stairs put some pants on. He ran
back down the stairs, out of breath he grabbed his lunch kit, put it in his backpack,
put on his backpack and missed the bus. Then all of the sudden the doorbell rang it
was his dad. Gene broke out bawling, calling for mom. They went to the couch, put
on Oh, Canada and sang it. When Oh, Canada was done, they sat down and started a
conversation. The shape of the couch was apple. Gene was sitting in the stem. Gene
was an only child, and a spoiled one too. Whatever he wanted, he would get it. Then
out of nowhere we heard a bomb. The explosion impacted the house so bad that
everybody died. In town there was a nuke that killed everybody in town and almost
went to the core of the earth and took out half of the world. The world was a
goner no more world for humans or the other planets them self. Everybody died
that day with the earth. Korea doomed their own island.
