NARRATIVE SUMMARY/OUTLINE
When endurance athlete Richard Parks' godfather was diagnosed with Alzheimer's it
inspired him to embark on one of the most dramatic and emotional adventures of his
life. Richard decides to risk his life in one of the most extreme environments on earth to
explore the relationship between exercise and dementia. Richard attempts to summit
Mount Everest without supplementary oxygen, undertaking a series of experiments
with a team of Welsh scientists.
