Statement of Purpose

I am interested in doing Summer Faculty Research Fellow Program 2016 at IIT Delhi
because it will give me a rich research exposure in Integration of Embedded Systems in
Renewable Energy and in turn benefit me to pursue Ph. D. in the same. I also believe that my
experience and skills will be an asset to IIT Delhi during the period of the Program and also in
the future.
I completed my graduate education at the Bharathiyar University of Coimbatore, Tamil
Nadu, graduating in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. I opted for electives like VLSI
Design, Fuzzy Logic and did my Industrial training programme at TNEB and project at the
Ennore Thermal Power Station to have a complete knowledge of Power System Operation.
I have completed my post graduation at Bharath University, Chennai in Embedded
Systems during which I developed a project on Fault Reporting for Aviation Systems at Ramco
Systems Limited. To have a thorough knowledge of database construction, I pursued a course on
SQL Server and Visual Basic .NET at NIIT.
I have a teaching experience of almost ten years during which I have guided a lot of
projects and have authored a few papers. A few projects that I have guided include

I have also attended many Faculty development programs to broaden my academic

horizon. I am keenly interested to do my research at this esteemed institution as it will give me
the entire required infrastructure in terms of academia. I hope to discuss this exciting opportunity
