Develop with Confidence

In addition to generating driver code to operate the device

peripherals, MCC-supported library code can be added
directly to your project from within the tool. Libraries
supported in MCC include Bootloader Generator, LIN,
TCP/IP Lite and mTouchTechnology.

MCC allows you to make changes to your project without

fear. The MPLAB X IDE Undo and Redo buttons can
be used to change any steps made since the last code
generation. Even the saved MCC configuration can be
easily undone.

A Tool for Novices and Experts

Integrated Development Board Support

MCC features an Easy Setup graphical user interface

for the configuration of peripherals. In addition, the
Registers interface allows you to see the register values
that MCC calculates based on the configuration made
within the Easy Setup window. The experienced PIC MCU
developer can change the settings of the PIC MCU Special
Function Registers (SFRs) right in the Registers interface.

MCC supports Microchips development boards including

Curiosity, Explorer 8, and PICDEM Lab II. Once the
particular development board is selected, MCC will load
the necessary drivers for the hardware available on each
board for quick and easy hardware setup.

Flexible Pin Management

Take advantage of Microchips Peripheral Pin Select (PPS)
feature and assign digital peripheral functions to your
choice of output pins.

Enhanced Technical Support

New data logging capability allows you to send a setup
information file to Microchips support personnel. This
allows for faster replication of your setup, making technical
support more accurate and efficient.
