Teachers new to instructional technology, looking to advance on the basics and
begin implementation
Google Apps, Classroom, Chromebooks and assessment basics

Instructional Technology 201 Cohort
10-12 teachers
Teachers with experience and practice implementing practice, looking to advance
their practice to a greater depth
Flipped learning, informal and quick assessments, assessment literacy,
differentiated instruction, online rubrics, collaboration, instructional technology
best practices

Lake Park Offerings

(East Campus)
1:1 Day Long Workshops
These sessions will include Google Apps, Mail, Drive and Classroom sessions, as well as
sessions on workflow, quick and informal assessment. Additionally, sessions will include content
specific offerings from various teachers.
Session I: June 9
Session II: June 20
Session III: July 19 -(includes Gmail and Google Calendar training)
Lancer University
During the morning sessions, a variety of topics will be offered, led by Lake Park teachers who
have been using 1:1 technology and chromebooks in their classrooms.
Session I: June 21
Session II: July 18 - (includes Gmail and Google Calendar training)
Pre-Flight: Ignite! Overview, Prep and Workshop
During this session, we will go through our 4-day Kickstart program that all Freshmen students
will encounter during the first week of classes. Modules include Google Apps, GMail and Drive
101, Digital Citizenship and Google Classroom. Teachers will have the opportunity to go
through this program, work with the materials and enhance their skills, and receive training in
Gmail and Google Calendar.
