Figuring it out Figuratively

A Thinglink Book Review

1. As you read, take note of any figurative language. Is there a
image or a metaphor that repeats itself? A symbol that
reoccurs?
2. Choose one or more images or a collage associated with your
reading.
3. Upload the image to Thinglink.
4. Create a minimum of ten labels on the image each
corresponding to a piece of figurative language within the text.
5. Within each label:
Explain the significance of the image to the story as a
whole.
Quote the text directly, citing the page number on which
the figurative language occurred.
