Whole
Time: 15 min

Before I introduce the lesson I will remind them the classroom rules and show them reward system.
Then, warm them up by the simple exercise. Then, I will greet each child and choose the helper hand
to count the children and help me. After that, I will sing the days of the week song.
Then, I will warm up the lesson by demonstrating them a video. After that, I will show them flash
card that includes letter S, and asks them to tell me the sound of this letter. Then I will tell them to
draw the letter in the carpet.

Small
Time: 15 min

Introduction (warmer activity + teacher introduction/demonstration of small group activities)

Active Engagement (group working with the teacher)


I will bring a prop box and ask them what on the prop box, and then I will demonstrate for them a
flash card that includes different picture start with letter S. After that, I will play with them by
change the card and they tell me what they see. Then I will let them to Sing the Incy Wincy Spider
song. After that, I will divide them in different group and explain to them the different activity. Then I
will count until number tree and let them to start.

Independent Experience (small group activity 1)


The children in this activity will be able to design the snake, colour it and
make the snake tongue.

Independent Experience(small group activity 2)

In this activity student will choose the picture start with letter
S and pasted on paper.

Independent Experience(small group activity 3)


This activity like a puzzle, the student will pick a picture
and put it with a name the picture.

Whole
Time: 15 min

Explain how you are going to differentiate


Low level: design the snake, make tongue and colure it.
Medium level: Choose the name that start with letter S.
High level: Take the picture and mane of the picture.
Closing
When the children finish the activity I will open a clean-up song and tell them to clean the classroom
and sit on the carpet.

Assessment
I will review them by demonstrate them a flash card and ask them. Also, I will ask them to give me the things
start with letter S. Also, I will give them worksheet.

Who is the lesson for? The lesson for KG1 that include different student from different level.
Where did the lesson take place? In the circle time and on table.
What were you trying to achieve in your lesson? I try to achieve a managing time and let the student to
recognize letter S and what thing start with it.

Rationale:
The reason that I do this lesson plan is teaching them letter by easy way to improve
their language and this first step to help them reading. Also, link concepts with a real
life.
