RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE KNOWLEDGE OF REPRODUCTION HEALTH

WITH TEEN BEHAVIOR IN JUNIOR HIGHSCHOOL 1 WORK AREA OF


PATARUMAN 1 HEALTH CLINIC BANJAR CITY

ABSTRACT
Background: Program reproductive health began to attract attention in recent years due to
several reasons such as the threat of disease STI, HIV / AIDS, and MBA pregnancy outside of
marriage as a result of the behavior of a sexual deviation and lack of good behavior in
maintaining reproductive health from an early age, PKPR is one of the potential scope of the
program should be implemented in health centers. In an effort to realize the above program
which prompted us to examine whether students know and understand about reproductive health
knowledge among junior high school students and how the students' behavior in an effort to
maintain reproductive health.
Purpose: To find the relationship between knowledge and behavior of reproductive health in
junior highschool working area of pataruman health clinic, Banjar city.
Method: This research is descriptive analytic using cross sectional design. Sampling of 272
respondents conducted research on students of Junior Highschool Banjar in March-April 2016,
with a questionnaire study as primary data.
Result: Of the 272 respondents gained as much as 2 (0.7%), poor knowledge and behavior were
as many as 2 (0.7%). Respondents with moderate knowledge and poor behavior as much as 1
(0.4%), knowledge was the behavior was as much as five people (1.8%), and knowledge being
with good behavior were 9 people (3.3%). Respondents with the knowledge of good and bad
behavior of 7 people (2.6%), good knowledge of the behavior were as many as 116 people
(42.6%) and good knowledge with good behavior found 130 (47.8%)
Conclusion: There is no correlation between knowledge of reproductive health with behavior in
junior highschool working area of Pataruman 1 health clinic Banjar city
