FOREWORD

Our Life is Gods greatest boon. Being born as a human

being is Gods greatest gift to us. Life is priceless, and living life
to fulfil petty goals is an insult to it. To spend your energy in
trivial pursuits, and to waste invaluable time in fulfilling material
desires and obtaining luxuries is akin to looking down on life.
Life is endless, our strengths are also endless and our potential
is also vast. We are able to utilize only about 5 per cent of our
physical, mental, social and spiritual strengths. The majority of
our powers are lying dormant. If we use our internal strengths
fully, we turn from man into superman, from human into super-
powerful humans. Our human consciousness gradually falls down
to a licentious consciousness and the world out of delusion starts
worshipping human beings as gods. All the divine qualities that
were present in Sri Krishna, Sri Rama, Mahayogi Shiva, Mahavir
Swami, Nirvana-attaining Buddha, Guru Nanakdev and Guru
Govind Singh are also inherent in us. A yogi should never consider
himself poor, helpless or powerless. At every moment tell
yourself, I am vast. I am a representative of God. I was born on
this earth with a great purpose. I have within myself the patience
of the earth, the energy of fire, the speed of wind, the calmness
of water and the vastness of the sky.
My brain has the energy, intellect, wisdom and brilliance
of the Brahmin. My arms have the courage, strength, power and
dignity of the Kshatriya. Within my stomach I have the business
strategies of the Vaishya, and I consider it my honour to be able
to serve like the Sudra. I am not an individual but a culture. I am
a messenger of eternal traditions. India is in me. I am the beloved
child of Mother India. I am not land, mansion, position or youth.
I am not the mortal body but I am the immortal, brilliant, rootless,
eternal soul.
Love, kindness, peace and affection is my identity and
religion. My work is my religion. I am not merely a worshipper of

(i)
stone idols but of those living idols that my Lord has created
Himself and in whose souls He resides Himself. I am the
worshipper of the chaitanya murta Brahma. Storms cannot bend
me, obstacles cannot hinder my life-path and insults cannot
distract my patience. I will make my life blessed by surrendering
totally to obey the instructions of my guru and the scriptures. I
will not allow any hindrance to the flow of virtue in my life. At
each moment, I will lead a life full of love, kindness, courage,
bravery, power, self-confidence. At every moment, my external
and internal life will remain pure and free from fault. In my life,
the good of the nation will be above everything else and this
will be my motto. I am first of all the child of Mother India and
only after that I am an ascetic, householder, politician, actor,
worker, officer or businessman. How could I have existed if my
country did not exist? My country is everything for me. This life
is for the nation. This life is for God. This is the aim of my life.
Duty towards my nation comes before my political duties or
ascetic duties. The nations glory is my glory and any insult to
my nation is an insult to me. I will not allow my countrys glory,
pride and honour to be tarnished. Even if I have to sacrifice
everything, I will do so in order to make India the Superpower of
the world. I will bring back the lost glory of my country.
Come! Come forward and be ready to sacrifice everything
in fulfilling this pure and holy resolution.
Come! Let us all unite to build a new India together.

JEEVAN DARSHAN
SOLUTIONS TO THE UNANSWERED QUESTIONS OF LIFE
SELF QUALITIES
I and My Personality
1. I am not an individual; I am the manifestation of the entire
nation. I am not narrow or small; I am vast. I am the image of
the Lord. I am the representative of truth, non-violence and
good conduct. In my body, my nation resides. I am the fate and
the reflection of India. I am the one who decides the fate of
myself and my nation.
2. I am always in my Lord; my Lord is always in me. Everything that
I see around me is nothing but the images of the Lord.
Everything I do is the worship of the Lord. Everything that I
have is a gift from the Lord. I am a child of God. He, the ruler of
the world, the creator of the universe, is my Father. The
blessings of the most superior and divine power are always
with me.
3. I am extremely fortunate to have taken birth on the soil of this
holy and pure country, which has also been the birthplace of
divine personalities such as Shri Krishna, Buddha, Mahavir, Guru
Nanakdev and Guru Govind Singh, brave heroes such as
Maharana Pratap, Chattrapati Shivaji, Chandrashekhar Azad,
Subhas Chandra Bose, Ram Prasad Bismil, Bhagat Singh, Raj Guru
and Ashfaq, and holy souls such as Maharshi Dayanand and
Swami Vivekanand.
4. As my inheritance, my Lord has given me the patience of earth,
the energy of fire, the speed of wind, the calmness of water,
and the vastness of the sky.
5. Let me be known by my mother, my father, my teacher, or my
ancestors. This is not my glory because I did not contribute
anything. My parents gave birth to me, my teachers gave me
knowledge. My ancestors are my pride. With my knowledge,
work and life, I will create my identity, and in doing so I will
increase the honour of my parents, my teachers and my country.
6. I am not a believer in fate, material enjoyment or terrorism. I
am a believer in humanity, patriotism, humanitarian values,
and spirituality. Free from the boundaries of region, language,
religion, and behavioural debates, I give a-call for nationalism.
7. I am not merely an individual but the manifestation of the
gentility and culture of the entire nation. Hence, the entire
country is affected by everything I do, good or bad. Till the
time blood flows through my veins and life exists in my body, I
will not betray my country. This is my bhisma pratigya
(unshaken vow).
8. The purity and fearlessness of childhood, the vigour of youth,
the good sense of old age, and the dedication of ascetics are
the ideals of my life. Children and saints are not tied by the
threads of illusion.
9. Work is my only religion. Work is worship. Work is the truth of
life and the world. Working without any desire does not indicate
lack of work, it indicates the lack of arrogance.
10. Valour, nationalism, expertise, farsightedness, spirituality,
humanitarianism, and humility are the ideals of my working
style.
11. Nation-religion is the biggest religion; Nation-God is the
greatest God; and love for the nation is the highest form of
love. The good of the nation is above everything else. The
nation is everything for me. bna jk"Vk; bnUu eeA . My body-mind-
wealth will all remain dedicated to the nation. The seven
principles of nationalism, the seven duties of spirituality and
idealism are the ideals of my personal national life.
12. When I am alone, it is not loneliness; in the silence I am
permeated by many currents of divine knowledge and divine
inspiration, and I find an eternal lamp always shining on me.
13. When my internal awakening took place, I found myself in the
shade of the Sambodhi tree, and my thirst is quenched.
14. At birth itself, man experiences pain and suffering. Hence,
throughout life there will be thorns to walk upon. Amongst
these thorns, you will have to blossom the flowers of your life
like tender rose petals.
15. God wants to choose you for great work. You have to just open
up and let the vastness enter you completely. When through
meditation and prayer you become the messenger of the Lords
powers, then the divine powers are at work with you as the
medium.
16. When you long greedily for fame in the external world, it means
you have not yet attained inner wealth or peace. The day you
gain the inner kingdom or happiness, you will yourself
proclaim, izkIra izki.kh;a {kh.kk% {ksrO;k% Dys'kk% fNUu% f'y"ViokZ
Hkolae% ;L;kfoPNsnkTtk;rs tfuRok p fez;rsA (Maharshi Vyas-
Yogsutra 1.16)
17. Take care not to repeat mistakes. Repetition of mistakes leads
to hindrance in progress, and your inner strength decreases.
18. Knowledge does not simply mean knowing; it means becoming
that knowledge.l ,oa Hkofr ; ,oa osnA
19. Be determined but not obstinate. Be brave but not impulsive.
Be kind but not weak. Be silent but not arrogant. Be clever but
not cunning. Be patient but not irresponsible. Show respect
but do not be a coward. There should be sweetness but not
flattery. There should be justice but not a feeling of revenge.
20. A prayer for forgiveness or penance is something that is done
just once; it loses its meaning if repeated again and again.
21. My head has the intellect of a Brahmin, my arms have the valour,
strength and the heroic energy of a Kshatriya, my belly has the
business and management skills of a Vaishya, and in my feet I
have the ability to serve like a Sudra. This is my caste vow.
22. I am Agni; I am knowledge, light, speed, the chief and the
commander. vfXujfLe tUeuk tkrosn% (Rig Veda 3.26.7). The
fire of resolution is always burning within me. The path of my
life is always lighted.
Parents Gods on Earth
23. Always keep happiness and a smile on your face. Give respect
to others; you will get respect. Give happiness to others; you
will get happiness. Serve your parents; in old age your children
will serve you.
24. A mother keeps her child for nine months in her womb with
love, kindness, affection and maternal feelings. After this, she
keeps her child on her lap for nine months, and till she dies, a
mother keeps her child in her heart. The four worlds can be
found at your parents feet. Parents are the God of this world.
Children are the only desire of parents. Never insult such
parents. Do not leave them in old age homes otherwise in the
next life God will give an animals birth to you where your father
will not be known and mother will leave you in childhood.
Whatsoever you sow, so shall you reap. Hence, awaken! Once
again adopt the culture of ekr`nos ks Hko] fir`nos ks Hko] vkpk;Znos ks Hko]
vfrfFknsoks Hko. My mother is my God, my father is my God, my
teacher is my God, and my guest is my God.
25. You should never forget your past. The knowledge of the past
saves us from mistakes and a person who reaches the top, the
remembrance of the past prevents arrogance in him. It is only
because of forgetting the past that people forget their parents.
If the memories of childhood and the mothers womb are
remembered, then you will never disregard your parents. Even
after touching the sky, remembering the past keeps a persons
feet on the ground.
26. It is God Himself who gives birth to us in the form of our parents.
In this way, experiencing the divine relationship in every
relationship is yoga.
Insult to Woman is Insult to Mother
27. The real beauty of a woman is not her body but her character.
Woman is not a commodity to be sold in the market. She is Sita,
Savitri, Jagadamba, Durga, Taravati, Gargi, Madalasa,
Mahalaksmi, Meera and Lakshmibai. Woman is the affection of
a mother, regard of a wife and love of a daughter. Do not make
woman a saleable commodity and do not joke about the
character of a woman. This is an insult to mother. The way
electronic media keeps placing a question mark over the
character of the mothers, sisters and daughters of the nation,
should be opposed with full strength. These carnivores of the
market with rotten minds should be made to understand that
the women of India are not characterless they are the highest
degree of purity.
Continuous Flow of Thought
28. In my inner and outer life, pure qualities such as non-violence,
truth, love, kindness, affection, valour, courage, strength,
might, and self-respect, etc. should always be found. To keep
this flow unobstructed, you should determinedly merge
yourself in self- study, and utmost devotion unto God and
worship gods. The teachers nearness, his life, teachings and
conduct give us strength from within, and keep the holy flow
of our life continuous.
29. If you smile, the world smiles along with you, and when you
feel sad, depressed, defeated and helpless, the world will
seem extremely sad to you.
30. Happiness does not come from outside, but from within.
Happiness appears when you are in a completely silent,
unconscious and peaceful state. Live a life that is always full of
inner enthusiasm, energy and self-confidence. God has created
and chosen you for a great purpose.
31. You doubt yourself and the Lord at times. However, it is strange
that people never doubt untruth or hatred.
Wake Up! Always be Positive!
Always be a collector of nectar, be curious!
At every moment experience Gods contact!
The Lord always gives us more than what we deserve, more
than our abilities and our labour.
32. pjSofs r&pjSofs r] pju~ oS ekq foUnfr. If there is rest during work then
this rest is a sin. Do not let obstacles stop you, do not let trouble
and temptation over-power you, do not let insults divert you.
Keep marching forward till you reach your goal.
33. The sound of a single deed is louder than a thousand words it
is very powerful. Let us believe in the culture of showing by
example and not merely in making speeches.
34. It is only our thoughts and culture that can be wealthy or great.
Similarly, it is only our thoughts and culture that can be poor,
destitute or infamous.
35. A person lost in a crowd can be found but a person who is lost in
the crowd of thoughts will spend his entire life in darkness. A
person trapped in the web of thoughts will end the life in the
same way as a spider ends its life by tying itself in its web it
spins.
36. Old age is not how many years you have lived; it is the outcome
of your thoughts. If there is energy, power, valour, courage and
self-respect then even with increasing age, a person will remain
young. A country will only become great with the knowledge
of the elderly, and the courage, valour and self-respect of the
youth. A very big difference between the elderly and the young
is the young are not fearful of the outcome while the elderly
remain constantly fearful of personal outcomes, and hence,
cannot take decisions quickly.
37. If the flow of my opinions is not able to change the corrupt
people, corrupt governments and corrupt systems, then I will
be helpless and will be forced to protect my motherland from
injustice, poverty, hunger, lack of education, social
irregularities, hatred, crime, misconduct, ill intentions, anger
and revenge, and will have to undertake a wide-spread
revolution to remove the wide-spread injustice, crime,
exploitation and hatred.
38. Thought is the biggest strength and wealth. Thought is the
greatest power in the world. Thoughts have unlimited strength
and energy. Thoughts are evidence, sacrifice, might, valour,
courage and self-respect. Thoughts can rage like fire and storm,
and be calm like peace and contentment.
39. Pure thought-flow is life. In other words, breaking up the
thought-flow is death.
40. The great vows of non-violence and truth are nothing but the
purity of thought.
41. Morality, spirituality and humanitarianism are nothing but
purity of thought.
42. Jealousy, crime, cruelty, exploitation, injustice, irreligion, and
corruption are nothing but the outcome of impure thoughts.
43. Pure thought is the basis of a persons pure food, pure
behaviour, pure conduct and pure life.
44. Ethics is nothing but the purity of thoughts.
45. A resolute thought is the bridge of success.
46. Purity of thoughts builds up social capability.
47. Thoughts are the gateway to happiness.
48. Good thought is the root of good conduct.
49. Our entire life is the outcome of our thoughts. Thought is the
seed of this tree of life.
50. With unrelenting good resolution and thought, even a wicked
man can become great.
51. Thought is human, while lack of thought is animal.
52. Pure thought is the voice behind sweet and effective words.
53. Purity of thought is the solution to all our problems. Pure
thought is the foundation of a healthy, prosperous and strong
nation.
54. I am confident that the same pure thoughts that made me rise
high, that increased my self-confidence and took me ahead on
my mission will also awaken every individual of the nation,
will awaken the self-respect of the nation, and when everyone
performs his own duties with entire strength, then certainly
my country will become great and it will lead the world.
55. My biggest strength is my thoughts. My pure thoughts have
protected me from sin; my thoughts gave me the courage to
fight against obstacles and adversities. It is because of my
thoughts that I have been able to turn my defeat into my victory,
and it is only because of them that I have come out all the more
powerful after going through the worst of the worst disasters.
56. When impure thoughts of jealousy, antipathy, anger and
revenge can make a person hateful and criminal, then why cant
pure thoughts make a person patriotic, spiritual, humanitarian
and progressive?
57. When with impure thoughts a person can be made
characterless, when a person can sell his or her body, religion
and humanity, why cant pure thoughts create a person of
character?
58. If the seeds of hatred and dislike can be sown in a person with
the help of bad thoughts, why cant the flowers of love,
kindness and affection bloom with the help of pure thoughts?
59. When an impure thought can be used to instigate a person into
crime and lawlessness to break down a society, why cant a
pure thought be used to awaken the inner soul of a person to
unite society?
60. Just as food is the basis for our physical growth, similarly
thought is the basis for the growth of our mind, wisdom,
intellect and all other feelings.
61. Just as a person becomes malnourished with the use of
adulterated or imbalanced food, in the same way, people
become susceptible to illusions with polluted, impure
and imbalanced thoughts; and it is this illusion of thoughts that
is the root cause of corruption, hatred, crime and restlessness.
62. Our sorrow and happiness do not depend on others but rather
on our own thoughts.
63. Impure thoughts are the root cause of all problems such as
hatred, tension, crime, murder and suicide. Impure thoughts
are the reason for all kinds of deterioration such as wickedness,
obstinacy and arrogance.
64. Poverty of thought is the cause for sorrow, deficiency and
retrogression in the nation. Resolute and firm thought is the
backbone of happiness, prosperity and progress.
65. It is important to take care of historical inheritances. However,
the rope that Mahatma Gandhi used to tie his goat with is
exhibited in museums, but the rope that was used to hang
immortal martyrs such as Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, Sukhdev,
Ashfaq Ullah Khan, and Ramprasad Bismil is not seen in any
museum, and it is the misfortune of the nation. Because by
remembering the sacrifices of the martyrs, the feeling of self-
respect will awaken, in the people and corrupt, cunning and
criminal people wont be able to rob the nation any longer.
Life
66. Each morning of life is a new birth for me and each day is like
one life for me. I will do today all those things for which God
has sent me to this world.
67. My life as well as my death both should be honourable.dhfrZ;ZL;
l thofr. Live life not with timidity and weakness but with self-
respect and self-knowledge. God has created you for great
work.
68. Life is a celebration. Life is Gods greatest gift. This body is the
house of God, the residence of Shiva. This body is the temple
of God. This body is not to be fought against. The soul is
immortal, ever young, constant, indestructible, light, energetic,
peaceful and contented.
69. As long as there is life, a person should not become lifeless.
Keep moving towards your goal with determination, showing
friendship to the happy, kindness to the sad, love to the good
and contempt to the wicked. You will definitely get success
one day and will always remain happy in life.
Do Not Give Up the Effort
70. Often, the more developed a civilization is; the more
developed , is the person, society and nation, and if the
civilization is not devloped, then subsequently the person,
society or nation becomes lethargic, and this becomes the
cause of the ruin of that nation. Hence, along with exaltation, the
effort should not slow down.
Service
71. Without service, the intellect is not purified, and without
purification of the intellect, the divine Lord cannot be
experienced. Hence, you should always be on the look out for
opportunities for service.
Social Welfare
72. Man remains more alert to others than about oneself; if we
have the same alertness towards ourselves and become aware
of our mind, thoughts, feelings, behaviour and work, then it
will lead to our welfare. Hence, before trying to improve the
world, improve yourself. First, become a good person then you
will automatically improve the world. Just as shadow is the
outcome of the tree; only if the tree is there, we will get the
shadow. Bring about your welfare, and the welfare of the world
will happen on its own.
73. How will one who hasnt quenched his own thirst quench the
thirst of others? How can a sleeping person awaken others?
How can a hungry individual satisfy the hunger of others?
Hence, before the welfare of the world, first accomplish
welfare of yourself. First wake up yourself! Then awaken
others!!
Worship Character, Not The Image
74. Worship character, not the image. Worship personality, not the
person. Let us not live life by merely worshipping stone idols.
Let us become worshippers of consciousness and awaken the
flood of yoga and patriotism in stone hearted people.
Work
75. Work is religion. Work is worship. The rest is sin and which is
left only occurs at the end of work. Your own work is your own
religion. Total dedication towards your own work is the worship
of God.
Why Cant this Happen?
76. When, for a paltry sum of money, people of our own nation can
become treacherous, cant the people of our country be made
upright and honest in order to protect the magnificence of our
nation? A handful of people are ready to sell the country to
betray it for a handful of money. But there are thousands and
millions of people who would die for their nation rather than
sell themselves. We have to unite such patriotic people.
From I To Love
77. Where me and mine unite, there love, kindness, affection
and surrender are born, there service and goodwill evolve
automatically by itself. In worldly relationships where I and
mine are joined, we would always be ready to sacrifice for
our close relatives. When I and mine get united with the
country, the feeling arises that this country is mine and what I
am today is solely because of the country. It is then that a person
will become ready to sacrifice his everything for the nation.
The life that is within me is because of the trees that grow on
the soil of this nation. This country has given birth to me and
the food and water of this nations land have kept me alive.
The nation has given me wealth, power, property and respect.
The tears of the mothers, sisters, daughters, children and other
human beings of this nation are my sorrows, and the well-being
of the nation is my happiness. Even if one person in the country
is helpless, destitute, poor, hungry or sick, then this pain of
Mother India is my sorrow, my pain. It is my duty or obligation,
it is my national responsibility, it is my moral duty to make sure
that not even one individual of my nation dies of hunger or
sickness.
We Must Think Like This?
78. There is no permission for No.
79. I will follow the advice and orders of my teachers and scriptures
to my utmost capacity. This is my work-culture.
80. Always set your frequency to positive mode because there is a
constant flow of energy waves, both positive and negative,
from the universe. We have to accept only the positive
vibrations from the universe.
81. Instead of thinking What can I do by myself?, think What can
I not do by myself! Nothing is impossible in this world,
everything is possible.
82. When corrupt, treacherous, criminal, and irresponsible people
can come together to rob the nation, why cant patriotic, honest,
responsible and awakened individuals get together to protect
the nation?
Shed Apprehensions, Be Positive!
83. You sometimes have doubts about truth, love, self and God,
but how strange that a person never doubts untruth or hatred.
Always be positive! Always be open to new ideas! Feel the
connection with God every moment! The Lord always gives us
more than what we can do, what we deserve and what we do.
Be Sensitive
84. Emotion diminishes a persons intellect and sensitivity enriches
humanity. Hence, be sensitive, not emotional. Sensitivity
makes us aware of our responsibility and keeps us involved in
self- duties and national duties.
Self-Qualities
85. Just as cold, heat, hunger and thirst are the qualities of the
body, honour-insult, happiness-sorrow and profit-loss are the
qualities of the mind. Similarly, love, kindness, affection,
respect, devotion, surrender, peace and joy are the qualities of
the soul. The qualities of the soul are your self-qualities.
Worshipping the Lord by doing your own work, while keeping
your own qualities intact, will take you to Samadhi and
fulfilment. LodeZ.kk reH;P;Z flfa foUnfr ekuo% (Gita 18.46).
Love
86. Love is not desire, it is worship. Excess of desire kills love. Love
is the highest degree of surrender and belief. Love is the cooling
shadow of purity, affection and maternal feelings and an honour
to effort, courage, valour and self-respect. True love is the one
that parents have towards their children, a teacher has towards
his student and a patriot has towards his nation. Others are just
attraction, illusion and false quenching of the bodys thirst.
Guru
87. Saints, gurus and acharyas advise us while they are living at a
very high state of the intellect or have gained divine knowledge
and feel themselves free from the bondage of life. If we too
connect ourselves with that state of life-consciousness then
we will also say what the saints are saying; and our lives too
will become completely transformed like those of the saints.
88. Guru is one who awakens, connects you with the eternal, tells
you the direction, gives you what you have lost, introduces
you to your soul, shows you the way and finally makes you like
him. However, remember that guru will just show you the way;
you will have to do the walking yourself.
89. Someone asked a Sufi saint for his introduction What do you
eat? What do you wear? Where do you stay? The saint replied
I eat death, I wear shrouds, and I stay in the grave.
Find Your Guru
90. You truly see your guru when you become one with the mind,
wisdom, speech, behaviour and will of guru or a saint, and live
your life with divine consciousness like him. This is why it is
said, lkkwuka n'kZua iq.;a] rhFkZHkwrk fg lkko%A Perceiving this body
of flesh and bones is not the complete vision. See the soul
inside the body.
Conversation with Guru
91. Obtaining intelligence directly or indirectly through the study
of books or the guru is a direct conversation with the guru. Each
divine sound of the words in the scriptures or written by the
guru will echo in you and you will feel that his life is speaking
to you through the scriptures or his words. Such self-study
transforms our life and makes the images of our guru.
Religion
92. Omnipresent and scientific truth is omnipresent religion. That
which does not measure up to the standards of omnipresent
and scientific truths is not religion; it is illusion. I am religious,
not blinded by religion. I will not make religion a business nor
will I make work dirty.
93. Religion is another name for superior conduct. Religion is not
merely symbolic, it affects your conduct. The principal root of
religious symbols such as the Shikha (top-knot) and Sutra
(thread) is also conduct. Symbolic religion without observing
the established rule of conduct is nothing but illusion and
irreligion. Hence, become religious, not blinded by religion.
94. I do not believe in conversion of religion. Religion is nothing
but good qualities which include non-violence, truth, affection,
service, control, and good behaviour. All these qualities are
present in all religions. Hence, there is no such thing as
conversion in religion. Religion is nothing but premium ideals of
a worthy life.
95. I do not think it necessary to try and convert people by
establishing schools and hospitals because I have changed the
lives of crores of people of various classes and religions. I have
given them health. I have given life to people who were very
near death but I havent changed the religion of even a single
person.
Food
96. Just as poisonous food causes frightening harm to our body,
similarly harmful thoughts too cause frightening tension, sorrow,
restlessness and incurable diseases after entering our mind.
Hence, if you want to attain a superior personality, then be
alert towards your food and thoughts at every moment. The
amount of cruelty a person does to his body is probably not
done by him to anyone else.
97. This body is the house of God, the residence of Shiva. This body
is the temple of God. Do not make it a bar by drinking alcohol,
a hospital by the intake of tobacco, etc. or a graveyard or
cremation ground by eating meat, etc. Be conscientious about
rituals, frugality and well being. Have pure, balanced and
complete food in time and make your body healthy.
Why Only Vegetarianism?
98. Just as we have to live in this world, similarly other living beings
too have the right to live here without fear. If we cannot create
any living being, then who gave us the right to kill them? We
kill animals for the reason that they do not look like us.
However, all animals have heart, brain and eyes. They have
feelings of joy and pain, and we kill them because they do not
have any weapons for their security or because in this new era
of the democratic drama, they do not have the voting rights.
Only if they could also speak like us, maybe then they could
have made us realize their pain and sorrow. But what should
we do? These animals do not know how to speak in human
language and we celebrate our joy by cruelly killing these mute
animals who do not desire anything and have not committed
any sin. We feel happy in tearing apart their flesh and eating
them like dogs and wolves. There can be no greater sin or crime
than this. If you can lead a vegetarian life without killing
innocent animals, then why are you killing them? Man is
vegetarian by nature. The organization of the human body is
that of a vegetarian being this is a scientific truth.
Ability
99. You have, within yourself, unlimited capability, ability and
energy to make the impossible possible. You too can obtain
the glory of standing with the front-line people of the world.
You can write a new history with your power, courage and valour
on the forehead of time.
Time And Life Management
100. Time is wealth. He who does not honour time or walk with
time is never forgiven by time.
101. By keeping six hours for sleep, one hour for yoga, one hour for
daily tasks, two hours for members of the family, you should
dedicate the remaining 14 hours to hard work. This is the best
time-management in life. This is life management or life
philosophy.
Behaviour See Everything Equally
102. Always keep your feelings and vision at equilibrium. However,
it is not always possible to always behave in the same manner.
Everyone is the image of my Lord. Everyone is my image. I am
in everyone, everyone is in me. This world is nothing but an
expansion of my I this is a feeling of equilibrium. One should
behave with a teacher as a teacher. One should behave with
one's mother, daughter and wife in different ways. Even God
does not behave in the same way with everyone; he punishes
the wicked and protects the good. He is kind and also metes
out justice. Feeling occurs at the level of the soul, while
behaviour occurs at the level of the body or the world.
NATIONAL-RELIGION
National Interest is Above All
1. There is no greater religion than duty towards the nation. There
is no God greater than the nation. National interest is above
everything. I will not betray the nation for my personal,
political, economic and family welfare. I will contribute my
body, mind, wealth, life and vote for national interest.
Political Authority
2. To leave the authority of the nation in the hands of corrupt,
dishonest, criminal, cowardly, weak, and foolish people is an
insult to the country. Hence, come! Take a resolution of 100%
voting and stop corrupt and dishonest people from reaching
the pinnacle of administration.
3. The political leaders of the nation have shown false dreams of
progress, and the religious leaders have given false
consolations, thus exploiting the Indian people since ages. Now
the time has come to move away from dreams, consolations
and imaginations and see the present reality of the nation and
religion. We have to adopt a healthy and ideal political religion
along with transparency, scientific, religious and spiritual
thought, and we should work boldly to stop the erosion of our
aspirations.
Independence
4. Independence without any direction makes a person, society
and nation unrestrained, and thoughtless bondage makes a
person frustrated. Hence, the eyes of the mind should always
be kept open for the sake of independence and administration.
The search for truth lies only in independence.
National Leadership
5. If the leadership of a country lacks valour, humility,
transparency and farsightedness, then the nation will never be
secure. Today, and unfortunately, cowardliness and weakness
have replaced valour, hypocrisy has replaced transparency, and
momentary selfish gain and motive have replaced
farsightedness. We have to change this misfortune into good
fortune. Similarly, if a person, family, society or organization
does not have valour, humility, skill and farsightedness then
that person, family, society or organization will also never
become successful.
Language
6. It is good to have knowledge of foreign languages because this
is essential for communication, business, contact and culture.
However, using the language of another country as our national
language is a great insult and something to be ashamed of. No
civilized country in the world imparts education to its citizens
in a foreign language. We will make the national language,
Hindi, and other Indian languages such as Gujarati, Tamil,
Telugu, Kannada, Marathi, Punjabi, Bengali, Assamese, etc. the
language of administration. We will impart science, technology
and management education in Indian languages and thus give
right to the children of the poor, labourers and farmers to also
become doctors, IAS, IPS and scientists.
Viewpoint
7. The society or country in which good people are not respected
and honoured, and the wicked are not insulted or punished, is
sure to be ruined.
viwT;k ;= iwT;Urs iwT;kuka p foekuukA
=hf.k r= izorZUrs nqfHkZ{ka ej.ka Hk;e~AA (Panchatantra 3.192)
Hence, good people, truthful people and patriots should be
given due honour while the wicked people and traitors should
be rebuked and punished in public places. It is only then that
the number of good people will increase in society, and the
number of corrupt people will decrease.
8. How can law-breakers be law-makers? When tainted people
cannot even become small clerks and officers, how can they
become MLAs, MPs, ministers or the prime minister?
9. Never give a final judgment on anyone. Never compare two
people or great men. Never expect or wait for something.
Wishes never get fulfilled. Unfulfilled desires lead to sorrow
and give birth to the feelings of anger and revenge.
10. If you do not oppose injustice or crime then please understand
that you are a supporter of injustice and crime. You are as big a
criminal as the person who commits injustice, irreligion and
crime.
11. I am not a person who will admit defeat or commit suicide
because of the corrupt systems and laws of society. I am a
warrior who will struggle to establish truth, justice and dignity
with my last breath and gain victory. People who accept defeat
are weak, cowardly and timid.
Four Superpowers
12. Wealth-power, people-power, ruling-power and soul-power
are four superpowers. We want to increase the soul-power with
the help of yoga and unite people-power and stop the
exploitation of the nations wealth. We want to make the
country economically strong. At the same time, we want to
keep a check on the ruling power and encourage good conduct,
dignity and traditions. This is because unrestrained ruling
power leads to wickedness in people-power and with misuse
of wealth-power, hatred, cruelty, restlessness and anarchy
spread in society.
Two Forms of Power
13. When people-power and wealth-power increase in the hands
of corrupt, dishonest and criminal people, then there is hatred,
crime, fear, terrorism, injustice, exploitation and finally the
destruction of the nation or world. When people-power and
wealth-power increase in the side of good people, then service,
good will, brotherhood and love will increase; nationalism,
spiritualism and humanitarianism will get strength and the
nation will prosper and progress. Whenever asuras got
administrative control, property and power, there was
destruction while demigods always used administrative
control, property and power for th good of mankind.
14. The glorious past of the nation is my pride. The nation that
does not take pride in its past and that is not aware of its present
problems, cannot create a golden future.
15. I have as much love for my motherland as I have for my mother,
sister, daughter or teacher. My nation is everything to me. If my
nation did not exist, I would not exist. My head is the Himalayas,
my right arm is Purvanchal or the lands of the east, my left arm
Paschimanchal or the lands of the west, and towards my feet is
the Indian Ocean. India is in me. I am from India. I am India. I
will make India the worlds superpower, an India that leads the
world in spiritual, social, economic and political fields. This is
my vow.
16. The nations honour is my honour and pride, and if the countrys
image or the nations pride is blemished in any way, then it is
my insult. I will awaken the nations self-pride and will dedicate
my life to the good of the nation. vkse~ jk"Vk; LokgkA bna jk"Vk;
bnUu eeA This life is for the nation. This is my holy vow and I
will remove the very traces of those people who betray my
nation. If people ask me why I talk about the nation, then I tell
them that this country is my own country, and I express the
sorrow of my heart with my entire strength so that the self-
respect of the entire nation awakens. There are people who do
not speak for the nation, that is, even if there is injustice and
betrayal going on in the nation, they remain silent. Such people
do not respect the nation and do not work for the nation. To
such people, I would like to say very clearly that if you do not
love this country, you have no right to live in this country.
17. Our culture, our values, ideals, social systems and traditions
are not so weak that we have to take help from the philosophy
of foreign thinkers such as Lenin, Marx or Mao. Our Vedic
socialism and spiritualism is a balanced, all-encompassing and
scientifically complete philosophy. Indian philosophy
emphasizes more on others good rather than on ones own
happiness. Hence, we do not need any imported social,
religious, spiritual or political thinking. This is not arrogance
but self-pride. I am not against knowledge but, at the same
time, I am also not a supporter of ignorance. This is a truth
accepted by all that Indias Vedic philosophy is the supreme
philosophy of the world.
18. The rules, laws and democratic systems of the country are being
used less to punish the bad and criminal elements and more to
torture the good folks and patriots. If this is not an insult to
democracy and freedom then what is it?
From Yoga Duty to National Duty
19. I want to assqciate everyone with the religion of yoga in order
to kindle in them the religion of the nation. I want to fill each
one with the feeling of patriotism. After self-development
with the help of yoga each morning, I want to fill myself with
energy so as to help the nations development. After self-
awakening with the help of yoga, I want to take ahead the holy
mission of national awakening. The question arises in a number
of peoples minds about the relationship between yoga and
the nations progress. So, I want to make it clear that without
self-progress, the nations progress is impossible. Hence, by
self-development with the help of yoga each morning, we will
be dedicated to the progress and prosperity of the nation the
whole day. Yoga and nationalism are not two different
philosophies but are two sides of the same coin!
20. The Conduct of Citizens and Leaders
The Seven Principles of Nationalism
The seven principles of nationalism, valour, transparency,
farsightedness, humanitarianism, spiritualism, and humility are
the seven pillars or ideals of our personal and national lives.
These seven principles are the main ideals to be followed for
ourselves, duties, national duties and work processes. The
seven principles form the benchmark for our citizens and
leaders. The person who follows these seven principles is a
true citizen of the nation. Only a person who lives according to
these seven principles can provide leadership to the nation.
It is with these seven principles that we want to bring a new
revolution and a new freedom to our personal life and national
life, and make India the world leader again by establishing an
ideal system in the country. We want to make India a
superpower by following these seven principles. India will lead
the world socially, spiritually and morally and usher in a new
age of happiness, prosperity and peace in the entire world.
Each nationalist-minded citizen and leader should follow these
seven principles.
I. Nationalism : He, who always keeps the nation in the utmost
position, is a nationalist. He, who considers the first religion
among all religions to be that of the nation, and only after that
comes personal religion Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Christian, etc.,
is a nationalist. He, who considers his nation to be the foremost
among all gods, is a nationalist. He, who considers the nation
to be above his personal, family and economic interest, is a
nationalist. Amongst the different kinds of love, the foremost
is love of the nation; even in life and the world, love only those
who love their nation. Do not love the person who does not
love his nation. In worship and devotion, first comes the
worship and
devotion to the nation, after that comes devotion to God,
devotion to mother and devotion to teacher, etc. In prayer,
first comes prayer to the nation; in meditation, first comes
meditation of the nation; in thoughts and thinking, first comes
the thought of the nation; in work, first comes the work of the
nation; in pride, he who keeps the pride of the nation foremost
is a nationalist. In relations, the first relationship or connection
is with the nation. Even if a person who does not love the nation
whether he is your relative or family member, do not keep any
relationship with him. In cleanliness and health too, first comes
the cleanliness and health of the nation; in prosperity, first
comes the prosperity of the nation; and even in progress, he
who first makes an effort for the progress of the nation is a
nationalist. In education, he who considers national education
to be the best is a nationalist. In languages, he who keeps the
language of the nation foremost in his life, conduct and
behaviour, is a nationalist. He, who loves his own nations
education, habits, culture, yoga, religion, philosophy and
spirituality, is a nationalist. He, who is dedicated to building a
clean, healthy, prosperous and cultural India, to building a self-
dependent country, a country that is free from hunger, poverty
and unemployment and has a 100 per cent compulsory vote
bank, with the help of a controlled population, is a nationalist.
He, who is resolute on the complete progress and research on
Indian treatment methods Yoga, Ayurveda, Yunani and Siddh,
etc., is a nationalist. He, who loves the Vedic Indian knowledge,
Indian food habits, Indian dress habits, Indian farming and
Indian traditions inherited from the sages, derived from Indian
knowledge, that is, Veda, Philosophy and Upanishad, etc., is a
nationalist. He who loves Indian sports, Indian arts and culture
and Indias ancient language, Sanskrit, all Indian languages and
the national language, and considers the national language to
be above everything, is a nationalist. Even in entertainment,
he who believes in Indian entertainment based on values,
morals and traditions, is a nationalist. By nationalism, national
duties and national laws, we denote all the systems, rules and
laws, ideals and values and traditions, following which the
nation attains happiness, prosperity and well-being, and the
nation moves continuously in the direction of progress. Our
ideals of nationalism and national duty are Shri Ram, Shri
Krishna, Chandragupta, Vikramaditya, Emperor Ashoka, Tilak,
Gokhale, Gandhiji, Netaji Subhash, Chattrapati Shivaji, Iron-man
Sardar Patel, and Lal Bahadur Shastri, etc. He, who does not use
foreign products made with zero-technology, is a nationalist.
II. Valour : He, who does not take even a moment to take a decision
for the welfare of the nation, and does not fear anyone in taking
or carrying out decisions for the welfare of the nation, who
does not get trapped by superstitions and lives his life with
work, labour, bravery, courage, enthusiasm, and self-respect,
has valour. When a person does not take the work related to
the good of the nation lightly and does it aggressively, who
takes rest only after every pure mission that he takes upon
himself has reached success without being diverted by
obstacles and insults or being influenced by propaganda, such
a person has valour. He believes in doing today whatever has to
be done tomorrow, he feels that if a task has to be done
tomorrow why cant it be done today, and if something hasnt
been done today, how can we think that it will be done
tomorrow? He believes in the philosophy of If not now, never,
who never tires, never stops, and believes in rest only after
work, and vdekZ nL;q% (Ved) and

flfa foUnfr ekuo% (Geeta 18-46), Shri Krishna says, "Worship
God with your work". He, who considers Karmanyevdhikaraste
Ma Phuleshu Kadachana to be his motto, has valour.
III. Transparency : He, whose life is spotless, unstained and pure,
whose personal, family, business and social life is based on the
benchmark of the seven principles, who does not lead a double
life and stays alert about living a sinless life, such a person is
skillful. He, who does not have any difference between his
internal and outer lives, and has complete purity is transparent.
IV. Farsightedness : He, who is farsighted, rises above the caste,
region, zone, religion, opinion, party, community, language,
etc., and respects all communities, talks of the progress of his
area or region, respects all religions and Indian languages, and
while doing all this, does not forget the nation's well-being,
respects all Indian languages and foreign languages for contact
and communication but while doing all this keeps the national
language above everything else. He who keeps the interest of
the nation above everything else is farsighted. A person who
gives rise to frenzy of regionalism, religion, regional languages
and spreads hatred amongst the countrymen, and burns the
nation for the interest of the region, is not a farsighted person.
Unfortunately, majority of our politicians today go from street
to street asking for votes in Indian languages and rule from the
parliament in English. Let us become farsighted and, leaving
aside our petty political selfishness, keep the national interest
above everything else for which the coming generations will
remember us with pride as their ideal and as national figures.
V. Humanitarianism : We are humans before being Hindus,
Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, etc. and our Father is the same, no
matter by what name we call him. God has sent us to this world
as a human being. Hence, our first and the main religion is
humanitarian religion. We all have, naturally, within our hearts
the God-given qualities of love, kindness, affection, truth, non-
violence, etc. Hence, humanitarianism, truth and non-violence
are our main religious tenets. Ensuring that external religions,
etc. do not become a threat to humanity is humanitarianism.
Keeping faith in these human values is humanitarianism.
VI. Spiritualism : He, who considers universal and scientific values,
ideals and traditions to be his religion, who might or might not
be religious but is never a fanatic, who sees God in all humanity
and every other living being including plants, and who dedicates
his entire life to the service of all creatures and the world and
diminishes the sorrow of the world, is spiritual. He rises above
narrow thinking and loves mankind and looks upon the whole
world as his family. He, who always keeps the feeling of
Vasudevah Kutumbakam in his heart, is spiritual. Spiritualism
and nationalism are not two opposing opinions spoken in two
different languages. On the other hand, these two are
necessary in equal respect for the complete independence and
self-security of every country and its citizens. We are the citizens
of an independent country, and the protection of its freedom,
unity and integrity is our moral duty. This is our national duty,
and along with this, if we look at things from the angle of global
brotherhood, global peace and social coexistence, then we are
all one and are the sons of one God. Hence, we are all brothers
and sisters from the point of view of being Gods children. This
is our spiritual philosophy and spiritualism.
VII. Humility : He, who is humble, serves others in an extremely
humble manner even after reaching the pinnacle of power,
property, luxury and knowledge, and who always keeps the
faith that this life and the entire world is the gift of the Lord. He
is of the view that the master of this life and the world is one
invisible power, God, who is performing all my actions Himself
keeping me as a medium. This body-mind-wealth-life belongs
to God one who lives with this feeling is never proud of his
work position or property and such a person is humble. We
have to live our life like this and this is the truth of our life and
world.
21. Spiritualism
(Universal and scientific truths of spirituality, religion and
culture)
A person who is completely dedicated to the life values and
ideals demonstrated by the sages such as the eight yoga
principles of yam, niyam, asanas, pranayam, restraint of the
sense organs (Pratyahar), resolution, meditation and Samadhi,
and the entire Indian religious, philosophical, spiritual and
cultural traditions, is spiritual, is religious. The five yams of
non-violence, truth, asteya (not stealing the property of
others), celibacy and asceticism demonstrated by sage Patanjali
and the five practices of purification, contentment, penance,
self-learning and deep devotion to God have been accepted by
me in the form of the universal, scientific and global religion,
spirituality and culture and I am completely dedicated to the
observance of mansa, vacha and karmana. Opposite to yam
and niyam such as hatred, untruth and stealing, etc. can be
considered a sin and a crime. India is a country of extensive
cultural traditions. Hence, whatever is universal and scientific
in all the various religious, spiritual, cultural and communal
traditions, we consider as religion. However, I am not a follower
of whatever is superstition, pretence, wicked, inhuman and
unscientific. I do not believe in such traditions and hence I am
religious, not irreligious. Instead of being the worshipper,
publicist and accepter of the symbolic aspect of religion, I
consider religion to be the superiority of conduct. I consider
the values of non-violence, truth, love, kindness, service,
patience, forgiveness, purity, contentment, etc., to be religion.
I consider the tenets of non-violence and truth in all the holy
texts such as the Vedic scriptures, Quran, Bible and Gururgranth
Sahib, etc., to be religion. No matter whatever religion, opinion,
group, community, etc., our personal hopes might be based
on, as a united nation, instead of being divided by worshipping
various gods, we should believe in the worship of the one
Supreme power or the Lord. The Lord has various names in
various languages such as Hindi, Sanskrit, Punjabi, Arabic and
English, etc. Amongst all these names, I address God by the
name of Om because this is the foremost and most ancient
sound of creation. This sound is universal and scientific. There
are many other forms of Om found in Indian philosophy and
cultures of other countries, such as Amen, Omen, etc.
Intensitive study and research on the scientific influences of
Om reveals that Om is a pure, scientific and medical word.
This is not a representative of any image, idol or religious
tradition. In short, I believe in a lifestyle based on nationalism,
spiritualism, and idealism. I am not a supporter of division on
the basis of religion and region. I am a supporter of nationalism,
humanitarianism and spiritualism.
22. Seven Rules of Idealism for Yoga Teachers
Following are seven principles for the conduct of the yogi
brothers and sisters dedicated to nationalism:
1. Vegetarian
2. No personal agenda
3. Healthy
4. Capable
5. Dedicated
6. Non-political lifestyle
7. Commitment to spend at least 1-2 hours each day for yoga
and national interest.
The above-mentioned principles are mainly connected to
our personal life and conduct. If we do not give priority to purity,
and national thought in our personal life, and if we ourselves
are not healthy, capable, dedicated and devoid of the obstinacy
of politics, then how can we fulfil the resolution of building a
nation that is free from corruption, crime and exploitation. Our
head yoga teachers, deputy yoga teachers, co-yoga teachers,
workers and yoga practitioners will stay within the framework
of these seven modes of conduct and will first bring purity,
modesty, and expertise into their personal lives and will then
take ahead the mission of national character building. First self-
development and then we will offer everything for the
development of the nation. First self-interest and then the
interest of the nation and the world this is our motto.
Non-political lifestyle means that a person connected
strongly with our mission of building a new India will not
represent any political party and will not give any special
support to any group either directly or indirectly. Our political
philosophy is all party or no party. That is, support the people
that have character, transparency, expertise and nationalism,
belonging to all parties. Remember, do not give direct support
even to honest politicians. Just as we give moral support in a
collective way through Yogpeeth to nationalist and honest
people, in the same way moral support should be given to ideal
persons, nationalist politicians of character. All party or no
party means that we do not represent any particular party but
we morally or emotionally support all the people who are good
in all parties. Hence, we are all party,it means we have no
connection with the corrupt people in all the parties and that is
why we are also no party. Our opposition is not any party or
person, but it is theoretical and this is how it should remain.
Any person who is directly connected to any political party
cannot do complete justice to this mission. I am not a
representative or publicist of any political party. I am a
representative and publicist of national duty. We should always
remember that our complete personality, our words, food
habits and conduct are entirely according to the traditions of
the sages and for the honour of this mission.
Nation-God
23. ekrk Hkwfe% iq=ksga i`fFkO;k% (Atharva Veda 12.1.12) Earth is our
mother and we are her children. Nation-god is the greatest
god. Religion of the nation means our duty towards the nation,
our responsibilities. Fulfilling them is our biggest religion. Just
as irreligion and injustice are sinful, it is equally sinful to bear
up with atrocity. Every individual should have gratitude, respect
and pride towards the nation.
24. It is unfortunate that even after 60 years of independence, we
have not been able to identify our nation with one name, one
language and one culture. Now, let this country of sages,
Aryavartta, remain Bharat. Now let us not feel proud by calling
it by the name of India, the identity of slavery.
25. Those who do not love the soil, culture, civilization, and the
people of the nation have no right to stay in this country.

BHARAT SWABHIMAN
AIM, PHILOSOPHY AND PRINCIPLES
Our Five Main Goals
1. Creating an India that is healthy, prosperous and traditional
with 100% voting, 100% nationalist thought, 100% boycott of
foreign companies, adoption of swadeshi, uniting the people
of the nation 100%, and building an India that is100% yoga-
oriented This is the Bharat Swabhiman mission. With this
the nation will get a new freedom and new system, and India
will become great and the countrys greatest problem
corruption will get solved.
Our Five Vows
2. In the special training camps for yoga teachers, our participating
brothers and sisters are asked to take five vows in order to
bring about the knowledge of self-qualities through yoga, to
make their mind and body healthy, and to build national
character by developing their own character. You too can take
these vows and at the same time request each teacher, devotee,
distinguished member, colleague, general members and every
citizen in your district to take these vows and embark on the
mission of building a healthy, prosperous and traditional India

1. We will only vote for patriotic, honest, valiant, farsighted,
and skillful people. We ourselves will vote 100% and also
make others cast vote.
2. We will unite all patriotic, sincere, aware, sensitive,
intelligent and honest people together 100% and by uniting
the powers of the nation will bring about a new freedom,
new system and new change. We will make India the biggest
superpower in the world.
3. We will 100% boycott foreign goods made with zero
technology and adopt indigenous goods.
4. We will adopt nationalist thought 100%, and while in our
personal lives we observe Hindu, Islam, Christian, Sikh,
Buddhist, Jain, etc. religious traditions, in our public lives we
will live like a true Indian a true Hindustani.
5. We will make the entire country 100% yoga-oriented and
make the citizens inward-focused by making them healthy
and arouse the feeling of self-pride in each one by removing
cheating, corruption, hopelessness, disbelief and self-
languor arising because of self-confusion, and awaken Indias
sleeping self-respect by building national character.
3. Our Organization-Building and Work Process
By observing the aforementioned five vows, we will build an
India that is healthy, clean, prosperous, self-dependent,
corruption-free, unemployment and poverty-free this is our
firm resolution. To realise this resolution, 1. Divya Yog Mandir
(Trust), 2. Patanjali Yogpeeth (Trust) India and International, 3.
Bharat Swabhiman International (NRI organization), 4. Patanjali
Treatment Centre, 5. Patanjali Yoga Samiti and 6. Mahila
Patanjali Yoga Samiti these six main organizations and the
people of the nation are being involved through the medium
of 15 different groups in this yoga revolution and national
awareness mission. These 15 groups are:
1. Youth group
2. Doctors' group
3. Teachers' group
4. Financial service group
5. Legal group comprising advocates and ex-judges
6. Ex-servicemens' group
7. Farmers' group
8. Industrialist and businessmen group
9. Workers' group
10. Officers' group
11. Labourers' group
12. Science and technology group
13. Art and cultural group
14. Media group
15. Senior Citizens' group
That is, a total of 15 groups will work. To establish these 15
groups in each district, the responsibility of the selection of
the members as well as the coordinator will rest with the
aforementioned six main organizations of Bharat Swabhiman
and 15 supporting groups, a total of 21 constituents of our
complete organization. These 21 groups, in the 21st century,
will awaken swadeshi in the entire nation by running a
revolution of complete social, spiritual, moral rise and bring
about a new freedom and a new system in the country.
Including 1100 to 2100 yoga teachers from each district, we
will prepare 2100 to 5000 special members of Bharat
Swabhiman and the special members shall select 5,000 to 11,000
working members and these will prepare 5-11 lakh ordinary
members of Bharat Swabhiman (Trust).
To join this national revolution through the medium of Bharat
Swabhiman, contact the local Patanjali Yog Samiti/ Patanjali
Treatment centre. Come forward to join any one of the above-
mentioned 15 groups, and come forward to become our
teacher/member!
4. A Big Question Mark on Democracy and the Constitution
Legislature, Executive, Judiciary and Media are the four pillars
of this democracy. In a democracy, the voters are not helpless,
destitute or slaves and the rulers are not masters; on the other
hand, the rulers are public servants to whom people have given
power and authority. These MLAs and MPs have been elected
by us to protect our well-being. We have not made them our
representatives to dictate instead of rule or to do injustice to
us under the cover of the law. We do not give rights to the
peoples representative so that they take away our right to live.
The rulers are our employees and in return for their services,
we give the MLAs/MPs, ministers, chief ministers and prime
minister their salaries, houses, entire expenses, travel and
petrol expenses, cars, etc. through our taxes. The rulers do not
give free service, instead, in return for this service, we give
heavy salaries and entire expenses to each representative and
we give him authority for the welfare of the society, town,
region, and nation; and if he misuses this authority, we have all
the right to take him out of power. In the present time, the
country is so terrorized by the misdeeds of the corrupt rulers
and corrupt authorities that the common man feels himself to
be helpless, destitute, lonely and tired, and even while living
in independent India, is desperate because of constant fear of
the governance and is again and again made a victim of
exploitation. Now awaken! Do not bear exploitation instead of
governance any longer! Live with complete self-respect, self-
rule, and freedom! This country is yours; you are not a slave but
a citizen of free India. Just like the legislature of the country,
the entire administrative executives and judiciary too, that is
all the democratic processes, administrative officers, police
organization, and the judicial system, have all been instituted
so that the people of the nation can live with security, justice
and self-respect. However, if some government officer,
employee or police officer is doing injustice to you or behaving
in an unconstitutional manner, then you have the right to raise
a voice against that corrupt system and get that corrupt officer
punished, get him removed from office, because all the
government elements are there for our security and to give us
justice, and in return for their work, we give them heavy
salaries. Do not be afraid of them. Definitely show them
respectful behaviour but keep in mind that they are not your
masters and they are there to serve you. In a democracy, every
Indian is the master and he has moral and constitutional rights.
Every citizen has the right to live with complete freedom,
complete governance, and self-respect. Hence, wake up! And
do not quietly accept exploitation, injustice and corruption in
the name of governance. Whosoever is a corrupt ruler, throw
him out of power with the help of your voting right; and vote
100% to bring into power those patriotic, brave, skillful and
farsighted people who are honest, who feel for the nation in
their heart and sincerely want the progress of the nation! And
save the nation! We will take a resolution that neither will we
rob the nation and nor will we allow corrupt, cunning and
criminal-minded people rob the nation. This country is mine. I
will not allow it to be ruined. When the majority of the leaders
who sit in the Parliament and Legislative Assemblies
themselves make a mockery of democracy and when those who
take oaths on the Constitution themselves kill the Constitution,
then we cannot keep silent. I will build the India that the
martyrs dreamt of, bring a new independence to the nation,
and will remove the exploitation and corruption that is going
on in the name of governance in the nation today.
What Democracy is This?
5. In this democracy, votes are sought in Hindi and other Indian
languages while the governance is done in English. Cant the
nation be ruled with the national language? Cant the judgment
of the High Courts and Supreme Court of India be given in Hindi
or other regional languages? Even after 60 years of
independence, the people of our country dont get justice in
their own languagewhat kind of injustice is this?
Break Your Silence!
6. A country is harmed more by the despondency of the good
people of the country than by the misdeeds of the bad people.
Hence, now break your silence! Awaken yourself! And awaken
the nation!! And come forward to defeat the demonic forces of
the nation!
The India of My Dreams
7. In order to build a healthy, prosperous and refined India, I have
five main goals Healthy India, Clean India, Independent India,
India free from hunger, unemployment and poverty with
population control, and India free from political corruption with
100% voting.
1. Healthy India
I want to build such an India in which each citizen, poor or
rich, is healthy physically, in thoughts, and in feelings.
Unfortunately, despite spending or wasting almost Rs 6,00,000
crore on health services, only 35 per cent of people are being
able to control their illness with the help of modern treatment
methods and allopathy, while the rest of 65 per cent are not
even capable of availing allopathic treatment.
We want to give mankind total health by the use of yoga,
Ayurveda, acupressure, natural and balanced methods and
traditional Indian remedies, because it is certain that only
healthy citizens can build a prosperous, magnificent, and
refined India.
2. Clean India
The countrys land, food, water, rivers, air and sky have all
become polluted, and the main cause of 50% of the diseases in
India's non-cleanliness. Because of pollution in food, thought,
mind and behaviour, disease, fear, corruption, crime and
anarchy are spreading in the entire country. Even sage Patanjali
had pronounced cleanliness to be the first rule for a yogi. The
universe is purified by sacrificial fires, air is purified through
planting of trees, the body is purified by water, mind is purified
by truth, wealth is purified by donation, wisdom is purified by
knowledge, and the soul is purified by study and penance. We
want to build a clean and strong India by purifying politics by
100% voting and purifying the nation by the identity cards of
each citizen. To make the air, food and water pollution-free, it
is important to have nation-wide movements.
3. Independent India through Indian Lifestyle
No country in the world can become great without indigenous
industries, indigenous education, indigenous treatment,
indigenous technology, indigenous knowledge, indigenous
languages, indigenous costumes, and self-respect of the
motherland.
I want to make India and each Indian stand on his own feet
and be independent and want to place India at the highest
position in the world.
I want to awaken self-respect in every individual of the
nation, and inculcate Indian languages, culture, refinement,
Vedic knowledge in the entire system of education and medical
treatment, and carve a unique identity for India in the world. In
1611 in Machli Pattnam (Andhra Pradesh) and in 1613 in Surat
(Gujarat), the Mughal emperor had given permission to a
foreign company to trade. Gradually, by exploiting the nation,
this company made its roots strong, and in 1757, by gaining
victory in the Battle of Plassey in Bengal, it started invoking
taxes. In the unprecedented famine of Bengal in 1769-70, far
from helping the victims, the Company exploited them all the
more. Despite the presence of famine in the country, this
foreign Company made a lot of profit. Taking the help of its
Regulatory Act, it started its rule in India from 1773 with the
Bengal province. In other words, a foreign trading company
became the ruler before our eyes. Beginning with the first
agent of the East India Company in 1615, Thomas Roe to the
first Governor General Warren Hastings to the last Governor
General Mountbatten, a foreign company robbed property and
wealth worth Rs 278 lakh crores for 350 years. The first foreign
company, East India Company, not only robbed the wealth and
glory of India but also made it a slave country for 200 years, and
now the 5000+ foreign companies producing flour, salt, water,
cold drinks, juice, chips, soap, oil, cream, powder, shoes,
sandals and garments, etc., with zero technology (these are
the goods in which no special technique or science is used) are
taking away lakhs and crores of rupees from the country. This is
a big obstacle to the countrys economic progress. Even if one
rupee from the country is deposited in foreign banks then it is
harmful and dangerous for the economic condition of the
nation. The economic condition of the country is the nations
biggest strength or backbone. We will make our country strong,
and will not make it weak by buying products of foreign
companies. Foreigners have robbed us tremendously, hence,
for the empowerment of the economic condition of the nation,
it is essential to bring in foreign currency through trade and
jobs, to increase exports by trading with foreign nations, to
create demand for our goods in foreign markets. However, if
money is being credited to the account books of foreign
companies because of you, then you are betraying the country.
We should not cheat the nation but rather we should become
responsible and trustworthy citizens and businessmen of the
nation.
We take the vow that we will no longer use in our life th daily-
use products made by foreign companies using zero technology
such as Lux, Lifebuoy, Liril, Rexona, Pears, Colgate, Pepsodent,
Ponds, Lakme, Dettol, Dalda, etc., We will also never use products
by Amway and poisonous cold drinks, Pepsi and Coca-Cola, as
well as drinking water sold under the brand names of Aquafina
and Kinley. Even if some foreign companies are only distributing
fruit juice, water, soap and other good quality products, we will
not buy those products because these products while not harming
our health are very harmful to Indias economic state, prosperity
and the indigenous Indian industries. Nowadays even Indian
industries are producing quality essential-use products with
purity checks. Hence, by adopting the Indian lifestyle, we will
save the country from economic bondage and make the country
free from poverty, unemployment and hunger by increasing
indigenous industries.
When the history of Indias progress is written, then our
name, at least, should not appear in the list of individuals who
weakened the nation but should appear in the list of the people
who strengthened the nation. Then our name wont be written
among the traitors of the nation and will be among the patriots
who used Indian products.
4. India Free from Hunger, Unemployment
and Poverty with Population Control
Poverty, hunger and unemployment are nation-wide
problems, and all these three problems are an insult to any
country and a sign of failure of social and political systems. Today,
the daily income of 25 crore people in India is Rs 5 and, on the
other hand, only 25 people in the same country are earning daily
the sum of Rs. 5 crore. There are two meanings of this First, our
economic policies are based on feudalism and second, our
population is increasing at an extremely fast rate each day. If we
do not take any effective step while there is still time then the
state of the nation will become extremely dangerous and
uncontrolled. While there is definitely be an unbalance of health,
wealth and education in a society devastated with hunger,
unemployment and poverty, there will also be the beginning of
the age of hatred, crime and communal violence that will burn
the entire nation. This will prove very unfortunate and dangerous
for the country.
Instead of feudalism, Marxism, Leninism, and unsocial
systems, we should adopt Indian socialism which is based on
valour and a balanced and progressive philosophy. It is
necessary to establish the socialism that was prevalent in our
villages before Independence in which each village, individual,
society was self-dependent, capable, independent and happy.
Even if we distribute equally the wealth and property of the
nation amongst all its citizens according to communist ideology,
within a few days there will again be hunger, unemployment,
ill-health and poverty because the root cause of these problems
is uncontrolled population rise, the solution to which is
population control.
It is only with population control that we can build an India
that is free from hunger, fear, unemployment, ill health and
hatred, and is civilized, healthy, happy and glorious. Just as
there is no production without demand, but in the case of
production of human beings it is quite opposite.
We do not even have resources or employment for people
who are already born, and despite this we are continuously
producing unnecessary babies. In such a state, no one can stop
the misfortune of the nation. There are only two solutions for
this: either the people of the nation use their own intellect
and produce fewer children or in case this is not done, then
India too should take strong steps like China against those who
produce more children. Only then can we build a prosperous
and powerful nation and remove hunger, unemployment and
poverty.
5. India Free from Political Corruption with 100% Voting
We have gained freedom from foreign slavery but even in
free India, we see high levels of exploitation, injustice, torture
and corruption going on in the name of governance, and there
is an environment of insecurity and disbelief in the entire
country. In such a situation, the country needs a pure,
nationalist thought with which we can remove most of the
corrupt, dishonest and criminal people sitting at the helm of
power and bring in a new freedom, handing over the power to
patriotic, brave, farsighted, skillful, humanitarian, spiritual,
humble and honest people and build a powerful and
democratic India.
The representatives of the people, e.g. MLAs and MPs, are
elected by us to occupy the highest position in the country or
the parliament, that parliament which is the highest centre of
power and wealth in the nation. The countrys parliament is
the main centre of all the systems in the nation. It is from here
that the political administrators determine what the education
system should be like and what children should learn. The
medical system, economic system, law and security are all
liabilities of the political administrators. It is the liability of the
political administrators to improve the agricultural sector which
in turn will ensure that the problems of hunger and food do not
arise. The political administrators are also liable for utilizing
the labour capital of the nation properly which will remove
unemployment, poverty, hunger and illiteracy and take the
nation to progress. If the politics of the nation is functioning
well then all the systems will run well. By politics, nationalism
and national duties, my indication is towards those systems,
laws, ideals, values and traditions which will bring happiness,
prosperity and glory to the nation, and it will continuously move
towards progress. Unfortunately, as the character of majority
of the leaders who lead the systems of the nation is not correct,
there is corruption in the nation and because of corruption there
is unemployment, and it is unemployment that gives birth to
hunger, poverty and crime.
If corruption is removed from politics, then every year more
than Rs 10 lakh crore will be spent on the development of the
nation, crores of youth will get new avenues of employment,
there will be industrial progress, and there will be all-round
development in the nation. The country will become strong,
prosperous and free from crime.
Our political, administrative and democratic ideals are Lord
Ram, Shri Krishna, Chandragupta, Vikramaditya, Emperor
Ashoka, Chattrapati Shivaji, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, Tilak,
Gokhale, Gandhi, Iron-man Sardar Patel and Lal Bahadur Shastri,
etc. However, the main positions in todays cheap politics,
democracy and administration are occupied mostly by corrupt,
dishonest, immoral and criminal people and if any patriotic,
honest person of character speaks of cleanliness in politics and
lights the lamp of nationalism in place of immoral politics, and
wants to build a new nation by bringing a new revolution and
new systems, wants to bring in happiness, prosperity and
equality by removing corruption, hatred, crime and intolerance,
then these aforementioned corrupt, dishonest and criminal
people do not like it and say that honest, educated, patriotic
and truthful people should stay away from politics, whereupon
these dishonest corrupt people can run the country according
to their whims, and rob and destroy it. We should remove from
power the corrupt and dishonest people who have ruined the
nation and punish them for their sins. If we think that we can
sit silent by and peacefully and some incarnation of God will
come and change our country, then this is our illusion. To
achieve something, we have to fight or take a stand ourselves.
There is no victory without struggle. Do not live with insults
any more. Recognize your strengths and unite to defeat these
demonic powers and pull out corrupt people from the helm of
power and replace them with superior people and there is only
one way to do this 100% voting.
Hence, with 100% voting, we have to replace the corrupt
political system of the nation with an excellent one, and just as
more than 30 countries including Australia, Italy, France and
Germany have done, we too should have a rule for 100%
compulsory voting in India. Only then the exploitation,
injustice, torture and corruption that is going on in the nation
in the name of governance will end and the widespread feeling
of disbelief and insecurity too will end, and India will become
a powerful democratic nation in true sense. Otherwise, 25-
30% people vote and form the government and 70-80% people
become victims of exploitation, injustice and torture in silence,
and these corrupt people do not even look after the well-being
of the 25-30% people who vote for them and instead of working
for the interest of the nation, give false assurances and show
false dreams of progress, and mislead and rob the nation.
I consider not voting to be an insult to democracy and the
freedom of the nation. If we do not vote, the nations freedom
falls into danger. The freedom that we got as a result of sacrifice
of martyrs will change into slavery. If we do not vote, we are
insulting martyrs and their sacrifice. Martyrs and bravehearts
did not sacrifice their lives so that cowardly, weak, corrupt,
dishonest and criminal people rule over free India. We, the
Indians, are all equally to blame for the sorry plight of the
country.
Hence, let us take a vow that we wont sit silently during the
elections; we will ourselves vote 100% and make others also
do so and together we will make India a powerful democracy
and bring in true freedom to the country and make India free
from political slavery. It is only because we do not vote that the
administration of the nation goes into the hands of corrupt
people and the country gets ruined.
8. Seven National Dangers
1. Self-confusion, because of self-confusion 2. Corruption,
3. Downfall of personal and national character 4. Insensitivity,
5. Disbelief 6. Hopelessness 7. Self-languor
The question arises in the heart of each patriotic Indian as to
why do corruption, the reason for unemployment, poverty and
hunger, the nations biggest problem, exist? After research,
study and experience of the physical science, psychology and
the entire emotional set-up of a person, we have come to this
conclusion that when a person moves away from his centre,
then within him arises dishonesty, bribery, hatred, dislike, self-
languor, insensitivity, work confusion and all kinds of
irresponsible thoughts. Self-confusion is the main reason for
personal and national downfallas a result, anarchy has spread
throughout the nation. Corruption, hatred and crime run wild.
From self-confusion arises insensitivity and from insensitivity,
disbelief and hopelessness penetrate deeply among the
common people, and as an outcome of all this, self-languor seeps
in the minds and thoughts of crores of people in the nation.
However, there is a solution to all these national dangers yoga.
When a person becomes self-focussed with yoga, that is when
he is joined with his centre, consciousness and soul, then he is
not able to do anything that goes against his soul. The soul is, by
nature, pure. The soul is full of love, kindness, light, energy,
peace, joy and is always content.
A person who is spiritual sees the nation in his body. He gets
the scent of the soil of his motherland from each particle of his
body, in its cells and his blood. This is because he feels that his
body is made from the food, air and water of the soil of this
nation. Each cell of my body has been directly built by the soil
of this land. This land has given me life. This land is my mother
who gave birth to me. My country resides in my body. This is
not merely imagination, wishful feeling or emotional thought,
and when a person lives with such kind of feelings, then he will
never be able to cheat his nation. He will consider betraying his
country equivalent to betraying himself. When he sees India in
the form of his mother, then in each citizen he will see his
mothers love. How then will he become a traitor to the nation?
He will love his nation and its people. This is the solution to the
national problems.
Hence, it is certainly my firm belief that yoga and spirituality
can save the falling personal and national character. With yoga,
self-focus will replace self-confusion, honesty will replace
corruption and dishonesty, rise of personal and national
character will replace the downfall of personal and national
character, sensitivity will replace insensitivity, faith will replace
disbelief, hope will replace hopelessness, and the feeling of
self-glory of the nation will replace self-languor. And India will
regain its lost glory and become a superpower in the world.
9. The Biggest Problem of the Nation Corruption
and its Solution
It is only because all the honest and patriotic people dont
vote and most of the corrupt, wicked and criminal kind of
people reach the topmost political positions and steal the hard-
earned money that we give in the form of taxes for the
development of the country. The total budget of the local
authorities, state governments and central government for the
development of the nation is approximately Rupees 20 lakh
crore. In the year 2008-09, the total budget of all the state
governments was Rs. 909444.75 crore and the central
government budget was Rs. 801600.00 crore. If the budgets of
the local authorities, municipal corporations and the
development authorities are also added to this, then the total
amount comes to approximately Rs 20 lakh crore.
Of this, at least Rs 10 lakh crore gets sacrificed at the altar of
corruption every year, and in one term of the central
government, that is 5 years, corrupt and criminal type of people
loot approximately Rs 50 lakh crore from the country. If Rs 10
lakh crore were distributed without any bias amongst the 600
districts of the country, then each district would directly or
indirectly get Rs 4.5 crore everyday, and approximately Rs 1666
crore would be spent on development directly or indirectly in
each district in a year. If Rs 1666 crore was spent in a district in a
year then no one would remain unemployed in that district,
and if there is no unemployment then there would be no
problem of poverty or hunger in the country, and if there is no
poverty and hunger, then everyone would be happy, and if
everyone is happy, then hatred, robbery and other crimes in
the country would be almost zero. In short, corruption is the
reason for unemployment and the misery of the country. If the
money that is robbed by corrupt people is used for the
development of the nation, then new avenues for employment
would come about. When there is be no unemployment in the
country, then the problem of hunger and poverty would
disappear by itself.
Hence, come! Let us all unitedly take a vow that in the
elections this time, we will participate 100% and will not allow
the country to be robbed at the hands of the corrupt people.
We will remove the corrupt, wicked and criminal people from
power and hand it over to patriotic and honest people. When
we vote for patriotic and honest people, then corrupt and
criminal people will get removed from power, and only when
power comes in the hands of honest and patriotic people,
corruption can be erased. The countrys problem of
unemployment, hunger and poverty would be removed. India
will stand amongst the developed nations of the world. India
will stand out as the biggest economic, social, spiritual and
political power in the world. India will gain the respect of the
entire world and with our nations honour, the honour and
respect of each Indian too would increase in the world. We will
be able to re-establish the lost glory of India. When corrupt,
dishonest and criminal people can get together and rob the
country with corruption, why cant good, gentle, patriotic and
honest people save the country from being robbed?
The money that is being robbed from the nation by
corruption is our hard-earned money that we give to the nation
in the form of 64 kinds of taxes including land tax by farmers
and house tax, water tax, road tax, sewerage, service tax, VAT,
income tax, sales tax, etc. All these taxes are given by the
common man. This money has been given by us for the
development of the nation, and corrupt and criminal people
steal this very money with the aid of dishonest paperwork or
corruption.
Come! Let us all take a resolution that we will not allow
corrupt people to steal our hard-earned money. We will spend
this money for the development of the nation and make the
nation strong.
10. Destruction of the Nation with Corruption
I. The main reason of unemployment : It is only because of
corruption that unemployment is prevalent in the country.
Corruption is the main reason for unemployment, poverty,
hunger, fear, want, robbery, hatred, kidnappings and crime. If
there is no corruption in my country, there would be no
unemployment.
II. Reason for obstruction in progress : When the nations wealth
gets accumulated with some corrupt, dishonest and criminal kind
of politicians and officers because of corruption, the money/
property that is robbed from the nation is spent on their dogs,
cats, cows, etc, or else the accumulated cash gets rotten in their
rooms, while the common man does not get two square meals
a day. This is not allto hide their crime, the money is stored in
foreign banks as in Swiss bank accounts, which stop the progress
of the nation.
III. Reason for the humiliation of patriotic and honest people : It is
because of the increase of corruption that patriotic, honest and
hardworking people have to live an ignoble life. Many-a-time,
the price of honesty has to be paid with your life.
IV. Reason for death of the Indian industries : When the wealth of
the nation gets accumulated in the hands of a few corrupt
people, then investment of foreign companies has to be
invited for industrial development in the nation. First, our
nations wealth gets accumulated in the wrong hands because
of corruption and then these corrupt people declare to the
world that India is a poor nation. With such a declaration, they
get India into debt and all the more the embarrassing position
takes place because of loans by the World Bank and other
prosperous nations. The truth, on the other hand, is that there
is no other country in the world as prosperous and beautiful as
India. If Indias natural resources and tax money are used
properly, then in just a few years we can become the biggest
power in the world. A few corrupt politicians and a few corrupt
officers have got together and are making the country poor. On
top of that, foreign companies too start taking their share of
our wealth. If there is no corruption in the country, then there
would be double the rate of progress. In the absence of
corruption, first, the wealth of the nation would be used for
the good of the nation and along with this the country would
not be in the need of foreign investment. The country will see
industrial, academic and other planned growths with the
nations own wealth ; the country will prosper, and the foreign
companies which take away a huge chunk of our countrys
money each year wont be able to lay any claims to our wealth.
The country will become much stronger from the economic
point of view. Our exports will increase and imports will
decrease, that is, millions of people will get employment from
indigenous industries. However, because of selfish motives and
corruption, politicians place their own known corrupt,
dishonest, unconstitutional and good-for-nothing officers in
charge of the government industries and slow them down in
the business race. First, these corrupt people rob the nation
they tear up Mother India and eat her up, and after that these
dishonest politicians in collaboration with foreign companies
hand over the nation to foreign companies. This is like saying
whatever we could rob, we have and now its your turn. Loot
whatever you can and then together we'll us sell it off to a
multinational company through conspiracy. Many-a-time,
indigenous industries and factories have become victims of
such conspiracies.
V. The reason for four roads and communication systems : When
there would be no corruption involved in communication
systems and the wealth of the nation would be utilized for
making good roads, over-bridges, etc., then our communication
system would become very beautiful and there will be three
main benefits first, the 1 lakh deaths approximately
caused each year due to road accidents will almost become
negligible. Second, good roads will mean that the valuable time
of the people wont be wasted. Third, vehicles will no longer
waste almost 50% of their fuel as they do now while waiting
owing to traffic jams. Because of good roads, the country will
save around Rs 2.5 lakh crore in petrol and other oil expenses,
and the lesser amount of fuel burnt means lesser pollution in
the nation. The people of the nation will also be able to avoid
diseases such as cancer, T.B., allergy, asthma, etc. that are caused
by increase in pollution.
VI. Reason for fatal diseases : When the pollution is removed by
the Pollution department then the people of the nation will
get good air, clean water and clean land. Unfortunately, today
the air, water and soil have become so polluted that unless we
take care of it in time , we will be leaving behind a poison-
filled country for the coming generations, and our children will
become victims of fatal diseases such as cancer, T.B and AIDS,
and will die untimely deaths. Unless the immoral and naked
dances being served through cable, television and the Internet
are stopped in time, our youth will remain in the grasp of
intoxicants and sexual desires. The lives of our children who
are yet to come of age will be in trouble and they will rebuke us
and say what a nation our forefathers have left behind for us.
VII. Reason for social injustice : No other civilized nation of the
world educates its citizens in a foreign language. Unfortunately,
the 5% English educated people of our nation consider the rest
of 95% people to be illiterate fools, and only their children can
study and become doctors, engineers, scientists, IAS or IPS
officers. This is the reason why the medium of instruction in
the higher education institutes of science, technology and
management is English. This is also a big corruption and an
injustice to crores of people in the country. If science,
technology and management education were given in Indian
languages such as Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada,
Oriya, Bengali and Assamese or in the national language Hindi,
then the child of a poor labourer or a farmer could also become
a doctor, engineer or scientist; he too could become an IAS or
IPS officer. However, the useless and corrupt rulers of the nation
do not want this to happen. This conspiracy was started from
the first day of Independence and has continued till today since
then.
VIII. Cause of deaths of the poor : When there is corruption in
education , the poor or common man of the country can never
move ahead. On top of this, because of corruption in the
medical sector, we have adulterated medicines, unnecessary
medicines, unnecessary operations, and terrorizing in the name
of treatment. The poor thus struggle and die untimely deaths.
IX. Reason for exploitation in place of governance : It is only
because of corruption that injustice is done to people with
bribery, hawala business, exploitation instead of governance
by police and administration and misuse of law. The law is used
to torture poor, truthful and honest people.
X. Reason for lack of sanitation : It is only because of political
corruption that there is filth in the nation. There is poor
sanitation in the county only because of our unconstitutional
ways and lack of strong will power. If we practise waste
management with determination and honesty, and behave
sternly with people who spread filth, then the country can
definitely be made clean. The workers who have to clean the
towns are made to clean the houses of corrupt officials. Because
of poor sanitation, today the world observes India as a dirty
country. This sentence is common amongst NRIs and foreigners:
Culturally, India is the best but as far as cleanliness is concerned,
India is a very dirty country. We have to erase this image and
increase the glory of the nation all over the world. Education,
awareness and a corruption-free strong punishment system need
to be set up to make the nation clean.
XI. Reason for insecurity in the nation : It is only because of political
corruption that our politicians indulge in dirty and cheap politics
of votes and nation-breaking hatred. It is only because of this
that there is uncontrolled population growth in the country,
and the government is taking no strong steps against it. Poor
education and unconstitutional governance are the main
reasons for this limitless, uncontrolled population growth. If
the government thinks about the welfare of the nation, then it
could control the population size like China. Instead of
controlling the population of our nation, we are also sheltering
over 4 crore illegal migrants from neighbouring Bangladesh.
This has put our nations security at risk, and has also taken
away avenues of income and work from us, increasing the
problems of unemployment and hunger. It is only because of
corruption that anyone can get a ration card, voter ID card or
identity card made in our country by only paying Rs 500-Rs 1000.
Any terrorist, drug dealer or traitor can enter India through
Bangladesh or Pakistan and a handful of greedy people in our
county put the lives of all citizens at risk. Even today, for a mere
Rs 50-100, transport papers are stamped to let loaded trucks
pass without any checks, which pose a high risk to accidents .
XII. Reason for extortion and robbery : Apart from corruption, the
people involved in industrial development and planned
growth are also tortured in an unconstitutional manner, and
corrupt officials and politicians extort money from
businessmen. Sometimes this extortion is in the name of party
donation and sometimes in the name of election funds. First,
there is a robbery in the name of elections, and once the
elections are won, it is as if they have got a permit to rob. There
is a fixed price for everything before elections in the name of
donations and afterwards in the form of corruption and
extortion! Is this democracy? Is this freedom? The laws that
are formulated in the highest temple of justice in the nation
are mostly not used to correct the various systems of the nation
and instead are misused for looting, extortion and corruption.
In a democracy, the centre of power and property is with the
administration. With the control of administration moving
more and more into the hands of corrupt people, the country
has started moving towards disaster instead of progress.
XIII. License Raj : Everything is in the hands of government officials
from a persons birth certificate to his death certificate, from
the registration of a motor cycle to a car, from the building of a
small house, shop, factory or school, etc. to the running of it,
from land registration to making of ration card and identity
cards. When most of the leaders who lead the system
themselves become corrupt, then this corruption spreads from
the PM to the Peon and the people of the nation are robbed
without mercy. This is what we see in India today. In some
states, where corruption is less, the government and
government officials do not interfere in peoples lives without
any reason.
XIV. Reason for the plight of agriculture and farmers : Because of
irresponsible politics, there is lack of proper water control
which leads to floods, famines, hunger and suicides by farmers
every year. The total agricultural land in India is 17.5 crore
hectare, of which 10 crore hectare can be used for agricultural
purposes. If water management is done properly, then this 10
crore hectares can be completely utilized and the problems of
food and hunger can be removed, and India can be made self-
sufficient in food grains and edible oils. The rural economy of
the nation can be improved, bringing happiness into the lives
of crores of farmers and agricultural workers.
XV. Reason for inflation : Because values are not properly fixed,
the prices of commodities required by the common man such
as iron and cement reach the sky, and the farmer does not get
full price for his crop. As a result, the gap between the rich and
the poor becomes very huge. And this oceanic gap becomes
the reason for social inequality and injustice.
XVI. Merciless exploitation of natural resources : It is the result of
our corrupt political system that today even though India has
plenty of natural resources available in the form of iron, gold,
diamonds and pearls, mineral products, gas and petrol, the
country is being made weaker day by day due to the misuse of
these resources by government officials, in a kind of conspiracy.
The iron, coal, gold and mineral mines are knowingly handed
over to mafia gangs by some corrupt, dishonest and criminal
people for their selfish gains. If the natural resources are mined
judiciously, managed well and skillfully handled, then even
today India can be a wealthy country.
XVII. Reason for the insult of intellectual talent : The Indians have a
lot of intellectual ability and talent. They are running many
important organizations in many countries. However, here,
intellectual talent is intentionally insulted and such people are
not allowed to progress, so some uneducated, idiotic, illiterate
and immoral people destroy the country mercilessly.
XVIII. Reason for good-for-nothing, unconstitutional and
irresponsible conduct : When the politicians that lead the system
themselves show irresponsible behaviour and do not have any
liability towards their duties, then the organizations of the
entire country and the people running those organizations
become unconstitutional, good-for-nothing and irresponsible.
This is the reason that in most of the government schools and
colleges, we have teachers but no education. In government
hospitals, we have doctors but the philosophy of treatment is
not there. Despite the existence of police administration,
criminals and corrupt people do not get punished. Victims have
to go from pillar to post to get justice while criminals move
about freely.
XIX. The reason for wrong intention and wrong policies : Because of
our wrong intentions, wrong policies are made, and because of
these wrong policies, every village has a brewery. As a result,
the poor, hard-working farmers and underage children get
ruined because of intoxication. The lives of women and
children at home get destroyed. We are not able to mete out
justice to them. The people in the administration of the
education policy, medical policy, agricultural policy, security
policy and foreign policy are taking the country towards ruin.
Just to provide benefits to certain people and because of cheap
mentality, we give subsidy to slaughter houses that kill such
beneficial animals as cows and buffaloes; and because of this,
a negative energy is created in the country by the cries of lakhs
of innocent animals everyday. Society and homes are affected
with restlessness, insecurity and adversity. India is an
agricultural country and even today, in many states, carts are
pulled by bullocks, buffaloes and camels, the land is tilled with
the help of bullocks or camels, which saves millions of rupees
in the form petrol and diesel costs. When all these beneficial
animals are killed in the slaughter houses and agriculture gets
mechanized, then on the one hand many lakhs of rupees would
be spent on petrol and diesel, and on the other hand, pollution
too would increase manifold. Remember that whatever
amount of money spent on petrol and diesel is going to the
gulf countries, that weakens the economic condition of the
country which is not good for the economic state of the nation.
XX. Reason for the loss of millions of rupees of the common man in
the stock market : Because of collaboration with some corrupt,
dishonest, unconstitutional and good-for-nothing officials and
some greedy, corrupt businessmen and wrong policies of some
irresponsible politicians as well as short-sighted, loose rules
and laws, millions of hard-earned rupees of the nation have
gone down the drainpipe in the stock market recently. This
painful episode is not just connected to the highly dishonest
Harshad Mehta or to Raju, the owner of Satyam Company. If
thousands of companies in the stock market are judged without
any bias, then who knows how many companies will be found
to be walking in Asatyam (untruthful) paths and cheating the
nation. Even though certain companies are not making profit,
they are shown to be profit-making companies on paper and
their shares which are actually worth peanuts are being sold
for crores of rupees. All this is happening under the nose of the
government because of its wrong policies. The common man
has to bear the loss of millions of rupees in the stock market.
The victims of such cheating, corruption and robbery are
invariably the innocent people. Some of them get affected by
depression; the families of others become homeless; in yet
other families, marriages get cancelled while a few even
commit suicide.
11. Fear Good People and Destroy the Bad! If people with good
souls are in a weak, poor and pitiable condition, fear them and
never do them any harm because giving those pure souls
trouble will turn all your joys into sorrow. However, no matter
how much power, strength, position or property a corrupt,
dishonest or criminal kind of person might have, never fear
them because the souls of corrupt and dishonest people are
dead and it is only to destroy them that the Lord took birth
in this country. This is the very advice that Shri Krishna gives in
Gita:
ifj=k.kk; lkkwuka fouk'kk; p nq"rke~ A
keZlLa FkkiukFkkZ; lEHkokfe ;qxs ;qxs AA (Gita)
Come! Let us all get together to destroy the demonic forces;
let us take away the strength and property of corrupt, dishonest
and criminal people and give power to patriotic, honest and
truthful people. Come! Let us all take a vow together, a pledge
together, a resolution that we will remove this stain of
corruption from the forehead of Mother India. Come! We will
together regain the lost dignity of India and build a new
powerful India. We will not hand over a corrupt India to our
coming generations and instead will present an ideal and
powerful India to them An India that they can be proud of.
12. Can Corruption End in Our Nation?
Till the time the people who lead the system do not mend
their character, corruption will not be removed from the nation. It is
the biggest challenge to mobilise patriotic people of character to
develop leaders with character.
It is a truth that there is no drought of patriotic, honest, sensitive,
valiant, farsighted and learned people. The problem is not the
shortage of people of character. What is necessary is voting for these
people and placing them in authority. The goal of Bharat Swabhiman
is to develop a very large vote bank in the nation of patriotic people
and people of character, and to use our vote for patriotic people.
People say that often the honest, educated and patriotic people do
not vote during elections after seeing the crowd of mostly corrupt
politicians. In my opinion, when I can tell people about the benefits
of Kapal-bhati and Anulom-Vilom and make crores of people practise
pranayam 365 days in a year, then by telling people about the
benefits of the removal of corruption, cant I motivate the honest
and patriotic people, for just 1 day in 5 years, to vote?...My answer is
we will be 100% successful in bringing people out from their homes
and very soon, the highest positions of authority in the nation will
be occupied by patriotic, valiant, farsighted, humanitarian, spiritual,
learned, sensitive, hard working and humble people, and a new
freedom, new system and new change will come and India will once
again shine in the world with the glory of her golden days.
13. Benefits of the Non-Existence of Corruption
1. If there is no corruption directly, 10 lakh rupees and indirectly,
10 lakh rupees will be spent on the nations development. When
this 20 lakh is spent annually on the nations development, each
district will be able to get development work of more than 10-12
crore rupees done each day. When so much money is spent on
development work in each district, then there will be no
unemployment. When there is no corruption, there will be no
unemployment, and there will be no arising of poverty, hunger,
hatred or inequality because of unemployment. When there is no
corruption, everyone will get equal opportunity of justice and
development.
2. If there is no corruption the adulteration that is going on in food
and thought will disappear. Along with Vanaspati oil, ghee, drinking
water, fruits and vegetables being pure, the character of every
person and that of the nation will be pure.
Excellent services and treatment will be available to you. The
country will remain clean and each citizen will get clean drinking
water. When the standards of cleanliness and purity are intensified,
then there will be control over adulteration in food and drink
products, and over almost 50% diseases that occur because of non-
cleanliness and adulteration of food and water would not occur.
There will be no torture in the name of remedy. Corrupt people will
no longer be able to adulterate medicine and food products, and we
will get pure milk, ghee, edible oils, and spices such as turmeric.
3. If there is no corruption your children will get good education
and learn good habits in schools, colleges and universities.
Correcting the tempering that has been done with the Indian culture
and history, the glorious work done by martyrs and brave men of the
nation will again be included in the curriculum. Also, your children
will be able to get science, technology and management education
in the national language, Hindi, and other regional languages such
as Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Oriya, Gujarati, Marathi, Bengali,
Assamese, etc. and even the children of poor labourers or farmers
can become doctors, engineers, scientists, IAS, IPS, etc; and people
will be saved from the extortion that is going on in the name of
tuition. Citizens of the nation will be saved from social injustice that
is going on in the name of education.
4. If there is no corruption you will not be a victim of exploitation
in the name of administration. You will not need to give bribe in
return for work done in government offices. Corrupt government
employees, officers, bureaucrats, and corrupt dishonest and
criminal politicians will stop asking for donations and bribe.
5. If there is no corruption we can make India the largest producer
of food grains. The lives of 80 crore people in our nation are directly
or indirectly dependent on agriculture. These farmers and
agricultural labourers will get equal participation in development.
By developing 10 crore hectares of agriculture land in the nation
again, we will become self-sufficient in food grains, edible oils, fruits
and vegetables, and in the field of textiles and garments by
cultivation of cotton, etc. By progress and self-dependency in the
agricultural sector, we will be able to bring about a dynamic rise in
the national economic GDP and make villages self-reliant.
6. If there is no corruption citizens of the nation wont need to go
without food, clothes or shelter, essential commodities, and they wont
have any electricity, water and road problems. Each citizen will be
able to live with complete self-respect, complete freedom and self-
governance.
7. If there is no corruption indigenous, cottage industries will get
more opportunities and the indigenous economy of the nation will
get a profit of lakhs and crores of rupees.
8. If there is no corruption natural resources will be used for the
good of the nation, and the diamond, iron, coal, gold and aluminum
mines that are worth billions of rupees will not be sold for pittance.
On the other hand, this national wealth will be used to improve the
life of the impoverished people of the nation.
14. Why do I Feel my Nations Pain?
You must have often heard people saying that why does only
Baba feel the pain of the nations corruption? When Baba does not
have any attraction for authority, wealth and power, why does he
travel day and night for the nations problems? So I want to reveal to
you the true feeling in my heart with complete honesty and
truthfulness I call and feel India to be my mother, and that is why
I look at the conspiracy of corrupt politicians against Mother India
and the failing democracy, sensitive values and ideals from the view
of political misconduct and infidelity. I am not a cowardly, weak,
timid, helpless, desperate and slave child of Mother India that in
front of my eyes her glory can be continuously robbed with
corruption, that irresponsible people and traitors with criminal
character can continuously betray my nation. Then I will not remain
silent.
I consider it my duty and responsibility to be as pure as any
religious person considers religious tradition, worship of gods and
goddesses, rites and rituals and saying prayers in the church, temple,
etc. to be pure.
I will not sit silent now! I have now committed myself to open
revolution against the corrupt politicians of the nation! And all of us
will take rest only after we have removed corruption from the
nation! I will not stop, nor will I bow down! Now I will not stop
before I make India free from unemployment, poverty, fear and
hunger. My belief is that there are crores of people like me who
worship India like a mother, who also cry for the victory of Mother
India, and all those who love India, and the people of India will
stand by me in this biggest non-violent revolution of the 21st century
and we will all win the battle.
15. The Honour of Five Mothers are at Risk
1. Mother 2. Mother India 3. Veda mother
4. Mother Cow 5. Mother Ganga
The mother who has given birth to us is made fun of publicly
today. Girls, daughters, sisters, and daughters-in-law are all forms
of mother. For the sake of pleasure, woman, that is mother, is being
considered only as an object of pleasure, as a saleable commodity
in advertisements or in the market with the argument that nudity
sells. That is why we show it, distribute it and sell it. Society harasses
woman, commits adultery or misbehaves with her in order to satisfy
physical hunger and uses condoms simply to prevent the spread of
AIDS such an attitude is an insult to motherhood, mother and
woman. The ideals and glories of mother are made objects of
derision in pubs, restaurants or dance bars this is a dirty and ugly
trick played with the Indian culture. I want to ask humbly whether
even a prostitute would want her daughter to fall into the ditch that
she herself has fallen into? Would any parents want their young
daughter to drink alcohol and smoke in pubs with strange men or
indulge in inappropriate beahviour in an intoxicated state with
characterless, wild and reckless men? Will any father with business
interests in cigarette or alcohol, etc. intoxicating substances want
his innocent child to be trapped in the evil circle of intoxication and
spoil her life or youth? Even a person trapped in intoxication does
not want his child to be a thief, a dishonest or characterless person.
We have to protect the respect of the mother and human values
from the characterless people. The way the values of personal
character and national character are falling in this race of progress,
we have to protect both of these with firm determination.
Along with staining the character of mother, the character of
Mother India has also been stained by corruption, poverty,
unemployment, hatred, crime, terrorism, hunger, social injustice,
wickedness, ex-ploitation in the name of governance. I will free
Mother India from corrupt, dishonest, criminal and characterless
politicians. In the beginning of creation, our forefathers used to
pray to the giver of knowledge and science, Veda mother, by saying
Stuta Maya Varda Vedamata Prachodayanta Pavmani Divjanam.
The protection of the Veda that is the oldest text in creation, of the
Veda mother, is our cultural, spiritual and national duty. By doing
research and study on Vedas, I am resolved to protect Veda and
Vedic tradition.
The Mother Cow that is the home of 36 crore gods and
goddesses, the Mother Cow which our ancestors used to worship
because the kindness, love and affection in her is for the good of
the nation, that Mother Cow is being killed in slaughter houses daily
in lakhs. This is the main reason for the unbalanced increase in
disastrous natural calamities such as floods, earthquakes, droughts,
hatred, and wickedness. A negative energy is born in the entire
country from the screams and shrieks of the merciless, heartless
killing of cows, buffaloes and other innocent animals who are killed
mercilessly and heartlessly in slaughter houses. Cow-slaughter is
the reason for disaster and sorrow. I consider the killing of cows,
buffaloes and any other innocent life to be immoral. In this creation,
every living creature has equal right to live with freedom and enjoy
life. India is the land of great saints and great souls such as Lord
Mahabir, Mahatma Gandhi, Swami Vivekanand and Maharshi
Dayanand Saraswati. India is a nation that believes in truth, non-
violence, and values of good conduct. We, the citizens of such a
pure nation, should remove the stain of cow-slaughter from the
head of Mother India.
Mother Ganga is the symbol of our devotion, faith and belief.
Corrupt politicians and governments are the biggest obstacle in
Mother Gangas purity and continuity. Corruption is deeply merged
in its purity and continuity. As a result, after Naroda-Bulandseher,
after the monsoon, only 2% of the Ganga water remains. 98%
is dirty water comprising sewage from toilets and waste water from
factories. The Ganga that makes each of us pure, is herself getting
dirty. I see purity of water more connected with human good than
religion. It is my belief that only if water, land and air of the country
are pure and clean, the nation will be safe. I am resolved in my vow
to clean and purify all the rivers in the entire country along with
Ganga.
16. Five National Myths and the Reality
1. India is a poor country 2. Only about 5% people pay tax in the
nation 3. All the people are dishonest 4. Corruption cannot be
removed, only corruption will govern the nation 5. The nations
progress and employment is not possible without foreign
investment.
The Fact
It is a conspiracy of some corrupt, dishonest and cunning people
to spread these lies and false rumours. It is a conspiracy to develop
self-languor amongst people that these lies and false figures have
been circulated. On the basis of reality, true figures and theories,
we present the facts in front of the citizens so that patriotic people
may get together and unmask the corrupt people, and come forward
to change the country and the countrys fate.
1. India is a poor nation!.... A White Lie!
Fact : India is the most powerful and the richest nation in the
world.
This is a very big truth that people of most of the developed
countries are weak but their leadership or law is very strong. Here,
the people of the nation are strong but the leadership is cowardly,
timid and corrupt, and the law is weak. The total budget of the local
authorities, state governments and central government of India is Rs
20 lakh crore. And this Rs 20 lakh crore budget is there when corruption
is at its peak everywhere in the nation. If corruption did not exist, the
total budget of India could be Rs 35-40 lakh crore. You just think, and
decide, can the budget of a poor nation be so huge? The corrupt and
dishonest people of the nation are intentionally portraying the
nation poor. If there is no corruption, then not even a single person
in the country will remain unemployed or poor. People are kept
unemployed, poor and illiterate as a conspiracy. This enables the
corrupt administrators to rule over the poor, unemployed, illiterate
and insecure people according to their whims and run an autocracy
in the name of democracy.
2. Only about 5% of Indias people pay tax! A White Lie!
Fact : Almost 100% people pay tax in India!
Every Indian who puts on two garments to cover his body and
uses 1-2 bars of soap in a year or wears shoes or sandals or goes to
shops or the market and buys essential goods of daily use such as
flour, salt, toothpaste, oil, spices, paper, pen, iron, cement, etc.,
pays duty in the form of VAT or excise on all these items. Even a
common man definitely pays tax in one way or the other such as
stamp duty, water tax, house tax, sewage tax, road tax, service tax,
sale tax, etc. Thus, isnt a white lie that only 5% people pay tax!
These myths and false rumours are spread in a conspiracy so that if
some corrupt and dishonest people rob the nation, then no voice is
raised, so that when someone asks for an account of the tax money
paid by these corrupt people, they are able to say, You do not even
pay tax. Who are you to ask? This myth has been so deeply
embedded in the hearts of the common people that they feel they
do not have any contribution at all in the nations progress. While the
truth is that each Indian has the right to ask about the various systems
of the nation, the authority of the nation, about the amount collected
by the government through various taxes, money that they have
contributed for the progress of the nation. They have the right to
ask, What has happened to that money?
3. All people are dishonest!...the biggest conspiracy.
Fact : In India, 99% of the common people are honest, or they
want to live with honesty.
This kind of lie that everyone is dishonest is spread because
the illusion that everyone is dishonest becomes deeply engraved in
the mind of a patriotic, honest person with character. Whereas the
reality is that 99% of common Indians are honest or want to live with
honesty while 99% of the representatives of the nation, that is almost
99% of the politicians, MPs, MLAs are dishonest. In order to hide
their own dishonesty, these 99% corrupt and dishonest people have
carried out this very big conspiracy by calling the 99% honest citizens
of the nation dishonest and liars. The day these 99% sensitive, aware,
patriotic and honest people unite together, these 1% dishonest
people will be destroyed. And India will be called a nation of honest
people, not dishonest people.
4. Corruption can never be removed, only corruption will rule the
nation!...Deep conspiracy!
Resolution : Only honest, patriotic people will govern the
nation.
Only corrupt people will govern the nation. Even this lie is being
told like a conspiracy with which honest, patriotic people are never
able to come into authority, and one corrupt person after the other
sits in authority and mercilessly loots the nation. There are also
honest, patriotic, educated and responsible persons of character
who are capable of excellently governing the nation without
corruption. A simple question arises in everyones minds is it
possible for good people with character to get together? Can patriots
be given votes, keeping patriotism above everything else? Cant
honest people become MPs, MLAs? The direct and simple answer to
this is that there are patriotic people of character who are capable
of leading the nation, but the patriotic, honest people who would
vote for them and bring them into power are not organized.
The aim of Bharat Swabhiman is to organize these patriotic people
who would bring patriotic, honest, sensitive, sincere people of
character to the seat of authority. By organizing patriotic people, I
will unveil the truth behind the myth that only corrupt people can
rule over the nation. My resolution is that henceforth only patriotic
people will govern the nation.
5. The nations progress and employment is not possible without
foreign investment!...Utter falsehood.
Fact : If resources are 100% utilized, then our nation will
progress and there will not be any unemployment.
This is also a projected lie with a view to rob the nation. It is a
conspiracy that without foreign investment our country will not
progress. The truth is that if the wealth of the nation is not destroyed
by corruption, there is enough to ensure that not even a single
person in the nation will not be hungry, poor or unemployed. If the
wealth does not go into the hands of the dishonest people, and is
invested in business then there will be so much wealth that we will
be able to loan out money to other nations with interest. India will
then be able to stand with pride as the greatest economic power in
the world.
Today the reality is that about Rs 70 lakh crore rupees, that
have been stolen by some corrupt people, are deposited in foreign
banks. And the corruption by the corrupt people continues. The
reality is that this country wont be able to progress without foreign
direct investment (FDI); the truth is that the day we bring back our
stolen money from foreign banks, we will be self-sufficient in every
field. The world is running with our money stolen by corrupt,
dishonest people. The economic source of powerful nations like
Switzerland comes from the corruption in our country.
17. Our Five Forthcoming National-Social Revolutions
1. Corruption removal 2. Making all services available to the last
person in the country 3. Cleanliness revolution 4. Establishment of
national and Indian languages in the nation 5. Free education for
the poor and compulsory inclusion of yoga education in the
curriculum.
1. Removal of corruption : By uniting the people of the country
through the medium of yoga, I will evoke a nationwide revolution
and remove the stain of corruption from Mother India.
2. Availability of all services to everyone : In each of the 6,38,365
villages of the country, a yoga teacher would be established and
free yoga education would be imparted to the villages through the
medium of the yoga teachers. We will give the last person in India
the dignity of leading a healthy life through the medium of yoga,
Ayurveda and nature, and teach him the art of living a healthy and
independent life.
3. Nationwide Cleanliness Mission : By running a mission of
cleanliness , we will remove filth and dirt from the nation, and project
a clean image of India in front of the world.
4. Unity of languages in the nation : Along with the national language
Hindi, we will give proper place to other Indian languages such as
Gujarati, Tamil,Telugu, Kannada, Marathi, Punjabi, Bengali,
Assamese, etc. However, using a foreign language as national
language is a big insult and matter of embarrassment. No civilized
nation in the world gives education to its citizens in a foreign
language.
Technical, medical and management education does not take
place in national language Hindi and other Indian languages, the
dreams of many children to become scientists, doctors and
managers, etc. will remain unfulfilled. Many children of labourers,
farmers and the poor, despite being good in other subjects, are not
able to pass even the matric examination because of not being
proficient in English language or failing in it, and hence they are
debarred from becoming doctors, IAS, and scientists. We will provide
our children with equal opportunities in our language. We will
provide vocational education to them in their mother tongues
Malyalam, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Marathi, Punjabi,
Bengali, Assamese, Oriya, etc. and also teach national language,
Hindi.
5. Free education for the poor and compulsory yoga education to be
included in the curriculum : We will provide free education to the
children of the poor, labourers, farmers, villagers, forest dwellers
and tribals in government and non-government schools in the
morning and afternoon, in non-school hours, and give them the right
to live with self-respect and independence, and increase the
participation of the poor in progress. I will communicate to the state
governments to make yoga education compulsory for classes 1-12.
If the state governments do not agree then with the help of student
organizations and teacher organizations of various schools and
colleges and common people, a revolution will be started to include
in the curriculum yoga education, not sex education!
18. In whose Hands Should we Handover
the Reins of the Nation?
Shall we give the reins of the nation into the hands of cowardly,
corrupt, dishonest, timid and weak people?
Shall we make administrators from amongst those people who
cannot administer themselves! For whom national duty is not above
everything. Money is everything for the corrupt administrators and
for money they sell their nation. They can betray their nation and
for wealth they can become traitors?
Shall we handover the reins of the nation to such people who
are hypocrites and whose children too are ashamed of their parents?
Shall we stand behind such people whose children even are not
prepared to stand? This is a matter of great shame and insult that we
give them the charge of security of the nation while they themselves
are not secure.
Shall we allow them to sit on the highest throne of the nation,
a throne which in the past was occupied by such people of character
as Lord Rama, Shri Krishna, Emperor Ashoka, Vikramaditya, Iron-
man Sardar Patel, Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, Lal Bahadur Shastri and
Gulzari Lal Nanda?
Shall we hand over the nation to such people who are lodged
in prisons? Those who themselves do not have a good conduct, how
will they conduct the affairs of the nation properly?
He who himself falters, how will he make the nation stand? An
aged father hands over his business to his young children, and
remains secure, and advises his children as and when necessary.
Will our politicians, like a father, for the good of the nation, be ready
for the participation of youth in administration?
Shall we hand over the authority of this nation to those people
who have made no special contribution at the personal level for the
progress, and prosperity of the nation? Ponder over it. Nehruji, Sardar
Patel and Babu Rajendra Prasad, etc. fought for the nations
independence, and gave their entire youth and life for the freedom
of the nation. Today if you look at the people who are in authority or
wish to be in authority, you will find that leave alone providing
service or working for the progress of the naion, they have directly
or indirectly robbed the nation in a big way. Apart form looting the
nation in the form of taxes, they have sold the priceless land of the
nation for peanuts. Shall we hand over the nation to these robbers?
19. My Five Expectations from my Countrymen
1. Give voice to my voice 2. Complete cooperation and assent to
national issues without fear and greed 3. Have courage to oppose
wrong deeds 4. Give votes or notes for the nation 5. Resolve to
live like a true Indian
I do not want authority, nor do I want wealth, nor do I have any
greed for the throne. I do not want any of these five things authority,
wealth, throne, vote or note. I want you to give your full cooperation
and assent to national issues without fear and without attachment.
Give voice to my voice, give votes and notes for the nation, have
courage to oppose wrong deeds and take the resolution of living
life like a true and good Hindustani. For my personal life, I have
never had any need of authority, wealth, throne, vote or note in the
past, nor do I have any need today and nor will I have in the future.
At the same time, my resolution is to see that the authority and
wealth of the nation are in the hands of the patriotic, good, honest
people of character. Corrupt, honest and criminal people get power
with money and authority with votes, and they use the authority
and power not for the progress of the country but for their selfish
ends. Hence, do not give notes or votes to the wicked!
I want you to add your voice to my voice which I am using for
building up national and personal character. Make this yagna or
revolution of Bharat Swabhimaan successful by offering your mind,
body, wealth and life. Give votes to patriotic, learned, valiant,
farsighted and skillful people of character, who can make the nation
free from hunger, corruption, unemployment and poverty. We can
be Hindus, Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains, etc. at home
or in our personal life but in social and national context, we are
ideal and true Indians and will work to make India the most powerful
nation in the world.
Along with yourself, think of your neighbour, also think of your
society and nation. If the streets near you are dirty, then take up the
task of removing the filth and bringing about cleanliness. If a
cleanliness drive is organized, come forward and participate in it .
Come forward to provide leadership in such tasks. If children are
not being given good education in government schools in your
neighborhood or nearby villages, if patients are not being given
proper treatment in your nearby government hospitals, if the forces
created for your security, independence and respect such as police,
administration, representatives of the people such as MLA, MP,
minister, etc. are not doing their social, democratic, constitutional
and national duties properly, then raise your voice against them!
Oppose them! Come forward to make them work sincerely !
We are Indians first of all. Our thought is nationalism. We should
think of solution to each problem by keeping nationalism above
everything. We should not give rise to unnecessary arguments and
debates on issues of progress, even if there is personal disadvantage
in it. Many-a-time the progressive works around us, including
building of roads, over bridges, schools, universities and other social
and national development work may directly cause loss to us, but if
it is for the good of the nation and society, then we should not raise
an unnecessary debate or oppose it.
Never talk of hopelessness, self-languor, disbelief. When the
nation can be freed from 700 years' of slavery or when Iron-man
Sardar Patel could unite 565 princely states and kingdoms that were
being ruled for many generations by royal families, with his positive
thinking, firm will, farsightedness and valour and build one India,
And even in free India if one brave, valiant and revolutionary woman
Prime Minister could declare in 1968 that the property of kings and
erstwhile rulers to be the national property, and if our neighbouring
country China could control its population-increase with firm
measures, can run the country without rulers by the people for the
good of the nation, can move forward and stand with self-respect in
the world, then why cant we remove corruption from our nation
and bring about a new freedom, new system and change in the
nation, or make India the greatest superpower in the world.
The history of the entire world is witness that whenever the
people of a country stand in revolution together, then systems,
authorities and history change and the impossible becomes possible.
20. Questions about the Details of the Wealth of
Politicians in Election Commission
When a corrupt politician gives the details of value of his house
and land, etc. to the election commission, then the value of his
house is Rs. 5 lakhs and the land is valued at Rs. 50 lakhs. But when
that politician goes to take a loan from the bank, then that very
house is shown to be worth Rs. 5 crores and the land to be Rs. 50
crores.
For the good of the nation, a law should be made that the
property of the politicians should be evaluated at the market rate,
and if it does not match, then the government should give 1 times
whatever amount is mentioned in the election papers and keep the
property with itself, or else the property should be auctioned and
whatever amount has been declared by the politician on his papers,
money or land of that value should be left with him and the rest
should be declared national property.
21. Dealers of Intoxicants are Guilty of the Death of
Thousands of Innocent Lives
Encouraging alcohol consumption is not conservation of human
rights or democracy. This is because after consumption of alcohol, a
person loses his intellect and only someone who has the power of
remembrance or intellect can be called a human. Alcohol makes a
person senseless, stupid and animal-like. Hence, to encourage and
conserve the culture of alcoholism, to indulge in alcoholism and to
make alcohol available these three fall under the category of social
and moral crime on the basis of work theory, argument, ground
reality and human values.
Will any parents want their young daughter to behave
licentiously, immorally and disgracefully with characterless, wild
and reckless boys in pubs, deeply intoxicated with alcohol and
cigarettes? Will any father dealing in the business of intoxicants
such as cigarettes or alcohol want his innocent children to get trapped
in this destructive cycle and destroy their life and youth? Even a
person who is himself intoxicated will want to save his children
from it. Even thieves, and people with bad conduct and bad habits
would not want their children to be thieves, characterless or have
bad habits.
Intoxicants and alcohol are the root of crime and destruction.
Alcohol, tobacco, etc. are the main causes of wickedness, bad
conduct, unchastity, misconduct with women, bad culture, hatred,
crime, family ruin, liver diseases including cirrhosis of liver and liver
cancer, kidney diseases, heart diseases and TB, and fatal diseases.
Because of the use of alcohol, cigarettes and other intoxicating
substances, 5 lakh people die every year in India from liver cirrhosis,
kidney failure and cancer, etc. The responsibility of ruin of the lakhs
of such innocent people falls on the people with direct or indirect
interest in the business of alcohol, cigarettes, etc. When the dealers
of intoxicating substances can be fined to the sum of 5000 crores for
causing damage to the people because of consumption of alcohol,
cigarettes, etc., and when Saddam could be hanged for the death of
148 people then action should definitely be taken against the
intoxicant dealers, alcohol mafia responsible for the deaths of
thousands of citizens and directly or indirectly responsible for the
destruction of the homes, lives, families and children of crores of
people. They should be behind the bars or hanged.
22. Voting in an Inebriated State is a Crime
It is a crime in India and the world to drive any vehicle such as a
car, scooter, etc in an inebriated state because driving in that
condition is dangerous to oneself and to others. Similarly, keeping
this view in mind, it is clear that election is the time for handing
over the reins of authority of the nation into the hands of a person
with full consciousness and intellect. If during this time, we are
intoxicated and we vote in a state of unconsciousness, then the
authority of the nation can go into the wrong hands. Hence, voting
in an intoxicated state can be the cause of a very big disaster and
downfall of democracy and constitutional values.
In India, there is open business of alcohol during elections. To
attract voters towards oneself, laws, rules and regulations,
democratic and constitutional values are mocked at openly. If while
voting in an intoxicated state, a criminal, rogue, thug, corrupt,
dishonest and characterless person becomes an MLA or an MP, then
is this right for a clean democracy and constitutional values?
Unfortunately, it is matter of great shame that alcohol is openly sold
and rivers of alcohol flow during elections. The election commission
should urgently declare voting in an intoxicated state to be illegal
and protect our constitutional values. Such a law should be passed
that if any person comes after consuming alcohol to vote then a test
should be carried out in the voting booth itself, and the election
officer from that zone should immediately stop that person from
casting his vote. This is very necessary for national interest. Voting
in an intoxicated state is an insult to democracy and constitutional
values, it is an insult to the nation.
My Political Viewpoint
23. I will not rob the nation, nor will I become weak, nor will I tear
it apart. At the same time, I will not allow the nation to be
robbed, nor will I let it become weak, nor will I let it to be torn
apart.
24. I will not break democratic or constitutional systems but at the
same time, I will not live like a destitute, slave or in a pitiable
condition. I will also not allow corrupt, dishonest and criminal
people to break any democratic or constitutional system. The
things that are happening in the temple of democracy are not
written anywhere in the Constitution of India. The people who
are taking pledges on the Constitution in the temple of
democracy are themselves killing democracy, and are eating
India alive with corruption and dishonesty. I will not quietly
bear this sorry plight of the Mother India.
25. I will not govern but I will not bear exploitation in the name of
governance.
26. I will not indulge in politics but I will not allow corrupt,
dishonest and criminal people to do cheap politics by socially
exiling them.
27. We will not sit on thrones but at the same time we also resolve
that each and every citizen gets awakened with yoga and a
healthy, prosperous and traditional India is built. We will
develop our personal character and bring social revolution
across the country to develop national character. We will unite
patriotic individuals so that corrupt, dishonest and criminal
people are not able to come to power.
Political Thoughts
28. My political thought is All party and No party. People of
good and pure character in all parties are my own. That is why I
am all party. Corrupt, dishonest and criminal people from all
parties have no connection with me. That is why I am no party.
Importance of the Organization
29. There is strength in organization. When stones get together,
they become a mansion. When organs get together, they
become a body. When teachers come together and teach, a
school, college or university is formed. When soldiers get
together, they form a powerful army. When pearls come
together, they become a necklace. When states come together,
they become a powerful nation. When threads get together,
they become a garment and the threads that were themselves
naked when alone, are now used in covering up anothers body.
When labour gets together, the nations industries stand to
attention.
30. Give yourself as an offering in the continuous yagna of personal
and national development. It is not always necessary to start a
new organization. The goal is not reached by floating in
different directions. Hence, Come! Let all of us nationalists
unite! This is also the advice of the Vedas.

lekueLrq oks euks ;Fkk o% lq lgklfrAA (Rig Veda 10.191.3-4)
31. When corrupt people are together then why dont good people
unite and remove wickedness with bravery? There is limitless
power in organization. It is only because the feelings of honesty
and integrity, humanitarianism, nationalism and spiritualism
are not united that there is fear, corruption, crime, poverty,
unemployment, anarchy, restlessness, and insecurity in this
world. The day good people become one, there will be peace
and happiness in this world and wickedness will end. We will
join hands and all good people will also join and become a
great force. This is the advice of the Vedas - laxPNoa laonoa la
oks eukafl tkurke~ (Rig Veda 10.191.2).
32. There are two main powers in any organization people-power
and wealth-power. The success or failure of an organization
depends on these two. I invite you to make the revolution of
Indias self-respect successful. Join this organization yourself
first and unite other patriotic people to join this huge mission
and make it successful, and help it by giving monetary help too
because only money can make such a great mission
successful. It is only because of lack of wealth that most work
losses happen. At the same time, also keep in mind that wealth
accumulated in an irreligious or immoral manner or method
also leads to misfortune. Hence, it is only by accumulating
wealth earned in a pure and religious manner that we have to
attain the goal of Indias self-respect. los"Z kkeso 'kkSpkukeFkZ'kkSpa ija
Le`re~ (Manusmriti 5.106).
After an organization is established and known, lakhs of
people join it with their mind, body and wealth. You, however,
join this mission of nation-building as a foundation stone.
Those who rule over what is already established are ordinary
people. Brave men are those who labour to build new traditions
and new kingdoms.
33. Hence, Come! Let us all unite and build a new India. Let us
bring in new freedom and a new system and unite patriotic and
gentle people, unmask corrupt people and build a powerful
and prosperous India with traditional values.
34. The meaning of the organization is contact, communication,
mutual respect, support and putting in hard labour and
struggling hard till we do not get success. With mutual contact
and communication among patriotic, honest, gentle, pure and
good people, we have to unite the nationalist, brave-hearted,
skillful, farsighted, humanitarian, spiritual and humble people
of the nation and awaken the self-respect of India.
Nations Development is not Possible
without Self-Development
35. Only a yogi can protect himself from the worldly attractions of
wealth, position, status, form and beauty. Hence the first and
essential requisite in this nation-awakening mission of Indias
self-respect is that each yoga teacher, worker, and member
must be a yogi. This is because if we do not practise yoga or are
not yogis, self-indifference arises. And this dishonesty,
corruption, hatred, crime, insensitivity, idleness, unawareness,
materialism and impurity are nothing but a result of this self-
indifference.
Become a Yogi!
36. By starting yoga duties along with national duties and joining
the religion of yoga with the religion of the nation, we have
not done any contrary work but rather have accepted yoga in a
vast form. There is no doubt, confusion, illusion or hesitation
in my mind regarding the duties of yoga and the nation. My
intention and rules are very clear, and my intention is to bring
unity and morality to the divided India. Yoga means to unite.
I want to unite the entire world with yoga as a medium. I want
to first make each person in the nation a yogi. When each person
in India is a yogi, then he will be a youth of character; he will be
a patriotic teacher or doctor; he will be an aware farmer; he
will be a thoughtful chartered accountant; he will be a
hardworking lawyer; he will be a soldier, security person or
policeman with tradition; he will be a dutiful supervisor, worker
or labourer; he will be an energetic businessman; he will be a
patriotic artist or journalist; he will be a scientist dedicated to
the good of the nation; he will be a healthy, active and sensitive
senior citizen; he will be an intelligent and sensitive judge and
advocate because it is my conviction that there can be no
development of the nation without self-development. By
doing and helping others to do yoga, I will turn each person
into a good person. I will make a mother an ideal mother. I will
build such a foundation of tradition and culture and prepare
ideal mothers and ideal fathers through yoga, so that children
like Lord Rama and Shri Krishna are again born here. When,
with the help of yoga, a self-realized person sees the society,
nation, entire universe in himself, he will not cheat anyone, he
wont hate anyone because he will feel that cheating or lying
to others is cheating or lying to himself. It is because of self-
confusion that there is corruption, dishonesty, immorality,
anarchy, and insensitivity. With this yoga revolution, we will
establish the age-old tradition of the sages across the globe and
re-establish a kingdom of happiness, prosperity, joy and peace.

THE RELIGION OF YOGA

An Introduction to Yoga
1. Yoga Samadhi (YogsutraVyas Bhasya 1.1) Yoga is Samadhi.
Yoga is the spiritual philosophy of self-realization, or self-
knowledge. Yoga is life philosophy. Yoga is self-discipline. Yoga
is not merely physical exercise but a complete lifestyle. Yoga is
the spiritual knowledge of making the soul pure and seedless.
Yoga is a complete medical science. Yoga is the science of life.
Yoga is the solution to all the problems of individuals, societies,
countries and the world.
2. leRoa ;ksx mP;rs (Gita 2.48) You have the power within you to
turn darkness to light, sorrow to happiness, defeat to victory,
unfavourable to favourable. You have the fuel within you to
make a sick body healthy. Illness, sorrow, danger and struggles
are nothing, you have enthusiasm, valour and self-respect
required to check death. Simply go ahead continuously in life
without getting diverted. One day you will definitely be
successful this is yoga.
3. If you want to be free from Vishad-yoga (sorrow) and enter the
18 yogas mentioned in the Gita including Sankhya, Karma and
Gyan-yoga, then practise Pranyoga. Pranyoga is the union of all
yogas.
Ashtang Yoga
(The Eight Yoga Practices)
4. The eight yoga practices are Yam, Niyam, Asana, Pranayam,
Pratyahar (restraining the sense organs), Dharna (firmness),
Dhyan (meditation), and Samadhi. No one can become a yogi
without the implementation of ashtang yoga.
Yam
5. Non-violence, truth, abstinence from stealing, celibacy and
asceticism are the five yams.
Niyam
6. Cleanliness, contentment, penance, self-learning and utmost
devotion to God are the five niyams.
Karma Yoga
7. Penance, continuous and regular study of the self and utmost
devotion to God are karma yoga. ri%
Lok;k;s'ojizf.kkkukfuf;k;ksx% (Yog sutra 2.1). One should not get
diverted even during penance, struggle and devotion. Penance
is nothing but continuously moving towards the goal fighting
against obstacles, storms and emotions. There is success
behind every failure. Visualizing honour behind insults, never
feel hopeless, defeated or sorrowful. Only he who
continuously struggles or does penance reaches the peak of
spirituality or sorcery.
8. The meaning of continuous study of the "self" is to constantly
study the self. The self should be aware of itselflive an
aware life, be alert, and should be always in touch with his
soul. Light, energy, happiness, formlessness and truth are part
of the nature of the soul. Soul is bright, immortal, everlasting,
imperishable and pure consciousness. Not to lose memories
of this image of the soul is self-study. To live every moment in
awareness of your soul is self-knowledge.
9. Utmost devotion to God means complete surrender to the
divine father, the Lord. We have got this body, mind, wealth,
position, power, form, youth, this entire world and life only by
the grace of God. Living life with this in mind is a devotion to
God.
10. While doing work, always keep in mind that you are just a small
speck and the strength, understanding, capability, energy and
speed is being given to you indirectly by God. To do your work
in this way, keeping yourself free from arrogance, is a devotion
to God. To live every moment with penance, self-learning and
devotion to God is karma yoga. Karma yoga does not mean
avoidance of work; it means working without arrogance in your
work, working with complete surrender in God. Observing work
as worship and doing work keeping in mind that you are nothing
but a small speck, is karma yoga.
11. Constant practice of penance, self-learning and devotion to
God make it easy to gain freedom from the five sins of false
knowledge, false memory, anger, hatred and attachment.
Achievement of Fulfilment
12. Fulfilment is obtained by some great souls from birth, some
through medicine, some through mantras, some yogis get it
through penance, and some get it through Samadhi.
tUekS"kkeU=ri% lekfktk% fl;% (Yogsutra 4.1).
Five States of the Mind
13. Evidence (Praman), hostility (Viparya), variation (Vikalpa),
sleep (Nidra) and memory (Smriti) are the five states.
Controlling them with practice and asceticism is nothing but
Yoga.
Key to Liberation
14. The four main keys required for liberation are: intellect,
asceticism, six properties (tranquility, punishment, respect,
solution, disinterestedness and endurance) and mumuksha or
the desire to attain salvation.
Great Men or Incarnations
15. When a human being gets blessed with godly qualities through
yoga, then he becomes a demigod, great soul, an architect of
an age or a great man. The power, knowledge and light of God's
arts become visible in him. Such great men with godly qualities
are then worshipped by the people of the world as incarnations
of God, such as Rama, Krishna, Buddha, Mahavir, etc. There is
only one Supreme Lord but there may be many children of that
Supreme Lord in the form of incarnations, great men or
demigods. All god-like incarnated men too worshipped and
worshiped just one Supreme Omkar. Hence, no matter how
superior a man might be, he can never become the Supreme
Lord.
The Goal of Yoga
16. I want to establish a healthy, prosperous and tradition-bound
nation through Yoga. This is the concept of my life.
17. I want to arouse the feeling of patriotism in each and every one
with the help of Yoga. I want to connect each one with his
national duties with the help of Yoga. I want to take forward
the holy mission of self-awakening through yoga. Developing
myself with yoga, I want to dedicate my entire being to the
pure mission of bringing about nation-development.
18. I want to build a progressive, cultured and prosperous society
and nation by making the sick healthy, making health useful
and transforming pleasure seekers into yogis and increasing
health awareness and qualities of the people of the nation.
19. The primary aim of Yoga is Samadhi. At the same time, if the
diagnosis of incurable illnesses can also be done with scientific
data, it is not of small importance. Yoga is very vast. Keeping a
narrow view of yoga is an insult to yoga.
20. A person who is in the grasp of ignorance, obstinacy, selfishness
and arrogance cannot be acquainted with truth. There are also
four reasons behind the opposition to yoga. As knowledge
about yoga increases in people, all obstinacy will go away and
the subtle truth or salvation will take the place of selfishness,
and arrogance will be replaced by Omkar.
The Outcome of Worldly Pleasures
21. Illness, fear, sorrow, restlessness, insecurity, intolerance,
impatience, ignorance, hatred, old age and death are the
outcomes of worldly experiences.
22. To get happiness, contentment and peace by experiencing
worldly pleasures is just as futile as trying to pacify fire by
pouring clarified butter in it. Contentment and peace do not
come from worldly pleasures but from intellect and knowledge.
The Outcome of Yoga
23. Health, fearlessness, happiness, peace, security, tolerance,
love, kindness, patience, intelligence, energy, virility,
immortality are the outcomes of yoga.
24. We get strength with yoga, salvation with knowledge, devotion
with love and nourishment with service. Getting nourishment
with service means when we serve, then the entire society or
nation stands by us in order to fulfil our pure resolutions.
Yoga A Science
25. When knowledge comes after passing through the
experimental stage, then it becomes science. When scientific
experiments are done on Yoga, Ayurveda, and Vedic
knowledge, then the outcome we get is called proof. Today
these experiments are scientific as well as proven.
26. Do not reproach knowledge, salute it. It is not wise to
unnecessarily oppose Yoga and Ayurveda because of obstinacy,
selfishness, ignorance or arrogance.
27. Good health is the basic right of human beings. Good health is
the birthright of mankind. Become self-dependent in the
matters of health with the help of yoga and pranayam. Vaids,
doctors, medicines, teachers and scriptures will all combine to
make you weak. Hence, become aware and move ahead in life
with valour. Your vaid, doctor or teacher is seated inside you.
You have all kinds of medicines inside you, all Vedas and
scriptures are also there inside you. Hence, become self-
dependent and self-respecting.
28. Every teacher, saint and scripture says that truth, God and all
solutions are within us. However, they often do not show us
the path to the inside world. Be aware! Breath or Pranayam is
the way to reach the inside world, that is from known to
unknown, from tangible to intangible.
29. I want to break the narrow confines of community, region,
religion or regionalism and unite the entire nation and mankind
with Yoga.
Yoga Medical Treatment Method
30. Treatment of sick people is above everything. The day this
statement is accepted in the arena of health, the day the
struggle amongst various medical treatment methods ceases,
there will be mutual discussion instead of arguments.
31. Yoga and Ayurveda are systemic remedies while Allopathy is a
symptomatic treatment method. This is the main difference
between ancient and modern medical science.
32. My ambition is not to compare yoga and allopathy and place a
question mark against any treatment method. However, by
placing various treatment methods in front of the patient, I
want to give him the opportunity of being able to choose the
best treatment method.
33. A person can invite death by buying poison from the market.
Tobacco and alcohol are responsible for deadly diseases such
as cancer and these can be bought from anywhere. However, a
person very close to death because of ill health does not have
the freedom to choose the treatment method he would want
to get his health back. By sacrificing the wellbeing of patients,
some powerful medicine companies are busy looking after their
own wellbeing and torturing patients instead of solving
problems. Wrongly criticizing the traditional, faultless
treatment methods and opposing the inexpensive, simple,
scientific and proven treatment methods such as Yoga,
Ayurveda, Unani, Acupuncture, Homeopathy, etc. is an insult
and betrayal of medical science.
Yoga is the Solution
34. Experiencing worldly pleasures ignites the volcano of desire,
just as pouring butter on fire can never calm it down. Hence,
yoga is the solution. Do not burn yourself in the fire of worldly
experiences! Now heat yourself with the fire of yoga and gain
victory over disease, old age and death!!
35. The road to retirement from crime and ambitions Instead of
asking for position, power, luxury from God, you should ask for
His mercy. If a persons thoughts are constantly the same as
they are on a cremation ground, in good company, when sick or
in trouble, then crime will automatically cease to exist.
Do not Blindly indulge in Vices, Become a Yogi!
36. Nature is there to give happiness from sacrifice related worldly
experiences. Worldly pleasures without yoga will give disease,
old age and death.
37. It is not necessary to go anywhere to attain God. When the
unknown disappears from the persons mind with the help of
service, chanting, penance and yoga, he will become pure, and
then he will find God within himself.
38. lq=kek.ka i`fFkoha |keusgla lq'kekZ.kefnfra lqiz.khfre~A
nSoha ukoa Lofj=keukxleoUrhe~ vk#gsek LoLr;sAA (Rigveda 93-10).
This body is a beautifully crafted boat to help us cross the ocean
of existence. Self-realized people and yogis sit on it and cross
the sea of existence, and indiscriminating people and those
who indulge in worldly experiences get trapped in whirlpools.
Celibacy and Chastity (Brahmacharya)
39. To save life and mind from being torn apart in this world full of
attractions, Brahmacharya is the only medium.
Mind
40. The different states of the mind must be overcome. When the
mind ceases to exist, there will be a new birth; you will get a
new vision and you will find a beautiful world around you, and
then you will become aware of the happiness of life. We
ourselves are the reason of our happiness and sorrow. The day
we realize this truth, that day our sorrows will disappear.
41. Social and moral values, truth, non-violence, humanitarianism,
sensitivity, purity of character and tolerance will bring about
global wellbeing and the world will become happy. Also, do
not forget that if you do not cultivate these values and stand by
them, then you will never be happy in your personal life as
well.
Body
42. v'ek Hkorq uLruw% (Rigveda 6.75.12). Our body should be as
alert and powerful as lightning. To live with illness and disease
is a sin and a crime.
43. There are four bodies large, tiny, root and the fourth. There
are three forms of bodies: 1. the body that is visible or the large
body, 2. The body that is not visible or the tiny body, and 3. The
natural form is the root body. The five large elements make up
the large body. The five breaths, five sense organs, five small
elements (panchtanmatraye), mind and wisdom these 17
elements make up the tiny body. When the living being is in
ecstasy on union with God in the condition of Samadhi, this is
the fourth body.
Meditation
44. Meditation is not an escape from the world. This is not a process
of separating yourself from everything or closing yourself from
all directions. This is understanding of the truth of the world.
What can this world give us apart from status, power, property,
honour, shelter, food, garments and endless sorrows connected
with all of these? The meaning of meditation is going beyond
this world where mounted on supreme knowledge, you are
able to see yourself and the world with the eyes of the intellect
as a neutral, unchanging witness. Then you will not want what
you do not have or remain discontent with what you have. You
will then see the beauty of the Lord in this entire world.
45. The meaning of active meditation is constant alertness,
constant awareness, always natural and intelligent. When we
remain aware, intelligent and natural, then we automatically
move from bad towards good.
46. Till a person does not know himself through meditation, he
does not obtain self-respect, internal happiness, self-
contentment, internal peace, internal wealth, the bloody
struggle for power, property, honour and status in the world
will not end.
47. Meditation is not stupor or ignorance. It means becoming totally
conscious with the highest nectar of the supreme knowledge,
where stupor and ignorance are completely removed and
finally the devotees intellect becomes seedless. In this
seedless mind, desires do not sprout just as roasted chana
(Bengal gram) loses its ability to sprout. Desires do not sprout
in the intellect of a devotee who has attained awakening.
48. Asceticism is not another name for running away but it is the
name for the highest degree of intellect and knowledge. The
main ambition of asceticism is to become constantly
progressive, dedicated and hardworking in a disinterested state
after attaining complete vision. The meaning of asceticism is
to go beyond limits into the limitless, endless infinity. Creation
and removal of doubt occurs only by stepping into zero. It is
through meditation that one can enter the zero state.
49. It is only by entering the unknown that the doors to the known
are opened. It is only by reaching the state of thoughtlessness
that divine thought is attained. When qualities are born, the
person is no longer attracted by external attractions and the
person becomes free from the bonds of life.
50. Fights and wars are taking place in this world because of honour,
wealth, position, power and arrogance. When a person attains
self-knowledge through meditation and devotion, he also
attains internal wealth, kingdom and unlimited power and
there is an end to arguments and wars.
51. Pure and divine thoughts take birth in an intellect that has
become thoughtless and passionless with the help of
meditation and pranayam.
52. Hearing, reflecting, remembering again and again and self-
interview this is called Shravan Chatustay or quadrangle.
Bliss of the Mind
53. To show friendship towards the happy, kindness towards the
gloomy, delightful towards the virtuous person, and hope
towards the wicked keeps the intellect happy.
Breath is Medicine
54. izk.kL;sna o'ks loZ f=fnos ;Rizfrf"Bre~ (Prashnopanishad 2.13). Breath
is medicine. Breath is parents and master. Breath is Vasu, Rudra
and Aditya. Breath is the Supreme Lord Himself.
55. ;ksxf'pko`fkfujksk% (Yogsutra 1.2). The mind finds it intriguing
to remain in falsehood, imagination or dreams. The mind either
remains lost in the pains of the past; in the agony, in the
memories of the past or in the worries about the future. The
meaning of yoga is to live in the present, where there are no
troubles or worries. In present there is creation. It is the present
that creates the past and it is the present that lays the
foundation of the future. Past and future are without existence.
Only the present exists. To live in the present is to celebrate
life. It is only when one goes beyond the mind that the reality
of the conscious soul acquires a shape. Hence, the meaning of
yoga is to connect with ones consciousness, centre or reality; to
recognize oneself and to recognize the Supreme Lord existing
within oneself; to see yourself in the universe and the universe
inside you, to expand ones identity from the confines of
narrowness in all directions. I am in everything and everything
is in me. This expansion of I is yoga.

CULTURAL UNDERSTANDING
Culture
1. We have a glorious past that is 1,96,08,53,109 years old. ^lk izFkek
laL frfoZ'ookjk*(Yajurveda 4.14). We are the carriers of the oldest
culture in the world. Our magnificent history goes back to
approximately 200 crore years. With our hard work and
devotion, we will free Mother India from the troubles of the
present and make a powerful, golden India that will lead the
world.
2. The Indian culture comprising restraint, good conduct, good
feelings, joint families, the glorious traditions of sixteen
cultures is the best, omnipresent, scientific culture in the world.
3. The forefathers, culture, civilization and philosophy of the
people of India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Nepal, Myanmar,
Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and the other Asian countries were the
same. India was the supreme kingdom of the world. In the
Middle Ages, there came about geographical and cultural
divisions and people got divided into various religions. Hence,
despite observing the different religions like Hinduism, Islam,
Buddhism, Jainism and Sikhism, our forefathers were the same
and even today the blood that runs through us is the same.
Cultural differences and civilizations cannot divide us. This is
our cultural and geographical past and present.
4. Often it is seen that the more developed a culture and the
more developed a person or society becomes, the nation
becomes lazy and this becomes the cause of its downfall.
Hence, with exaltation the efforts should not end.
5. The Indian religion, philosophy, spirituality, political science,
ethics, Vedic mathematics, astrology and Vedic knowledge are
universal and scientific. As we have a vast and magnificent
cultural background, we do not need imported religion,
philosophy, western culture and foreign morals. The interest
of the nation lies in the culture and civilization of our own
nation.
The Struggle of Cultures
6. Only when there is no research on the knowledge of languages,
struggle and differences arise in cultures, civilizations and races
of the world. The opposition to Veda, Yoga, Ayurveda and The
Indian culture is also because of the lack of research on Sanskrit
or Vedic knowledge. In the same way, addressing religion or
calling God by various names in the various languages of Hindi,
Sanskrit, English, Arabic, Persian, Urdu, Punjabi, etc. leads to
illusion. ^,da ln~ fok cgqkk onfUr* (Rig Veda 1.164.46). There are
many names of one truth and if the illusion of names disappears,
we can move towards world peace. Our aim is olqkSo dqVEq cde~
(Panchtantra 5.38).
Asceticism
7. Asceticism is not another name for running away. Asceticism is
the highest level of intellect. The complete aim of asceticism is
to be constantly progressive, hard working and putting in efforts
in a detached manner after attaining supreme vision.
Renunciation
8. My sanyas or renunciation is not cultural escapism. Asceticism
is nothing but intellectual climax. Hence, do not run away and
at the same time do not lose yourself in the worldly
experiences. Just wake up and awaken others this is our
spirituality. No running away from life, no sorrow for death.
We have to always remain the same this is yoga. Renunciation
is nothing but doing your work in a detached manner without
any desires or expectations about the outcome.
Completeness of Prayer
9. Knowledge, work and devotion, complete prayer or mediation.
Only knowledge will bring about a feeling of arrogance, and a
person who lives his life only on knowledge will be like a desert
and build dryness, false arrogance and an artificial or imaginary
personality in his life. Hence, knowledge is incomplete without
work; work without devotional knowledge is bondage, and it
becomes a vanity. Hence, we can get salvation only by work in
which our intellect is used. With knowledge, we get complete
vision, and this vision should be definitely used in work and
devotion. God does not give to beggars but to those who
deserve it. Always worship character, not the image.
10. Independence does not mean indiscipline. Independence is
the name of self-governance. While living an independent,
self-dependent life, help others also to become self-
dependent. First, become a devotee and then you yourself
will become a reformer. ekrk Hkwfe% iq=ksga i`fFkO;k%. Earth is our
mother, we are her children. Nation is the biggest God, and
religion means the duties towards the nation. Our
responsibilities are the biggest religion.
11. It is equally sin to bear exploitation as it is to actually do injustice
and wickedness. Every individual should have gratefulness,
respect and pride towards his nation.
12. When the internal eyes are opened or divine vision is obtained
with yogic devotion, the company of spiritual teachers and
philosophers, self-study of Upanishads and other ancient texts,
detached work and service, then the Supreme Lord is seen in
everything. In all relationships, the divine relationship is felt.
This is the completeness of devotion, worship or prayer.
The Prayer of a Devotee
13. Instead of asking for wealth and its by-products from God, ask the
Lord for His support. Asking for wealth and luxury are petty
demands.
14. Do not pray for position, authority, wealth or material luxuries
from God because He is a kind father and always gives us more
than we are worthy or capable of. Just pray to God O Lord! Let
me be able to carry out my work as if it is my religion and O
Lord! Let me not forget You even for a moment. Just give me
this boon.
Great Advice
15. Prajapati gave three pieces of great advice. His advice for
demigods was the suppression of desires or self-control. For
the asuras or demons, His advice was that praying for
compassion should be their religion. Hatred, anger and revenge
are the reasons of global restlessness. To human beings, He
advised to share with others whatever they have. The religious
text is this share and eat, do not store, read the book of
distribution. (Brihadaranyak Upanishad).
Sixteen Rites
16. The foundation of building a human life is sixteen rites. Hence,
I will make my and my nations life better with the following
sixteen rites: Garbhadhan or conception, Punsavan (ceremony
that is performed in the third month after conception),
Simantonayan (Vedic rite that is performed in the fourth, sixth
or eighth month after conception), Jatkarma (ceremony
performed on birth), Namakaran (name giving ceremony),
Annaprasanna (ceremony in which food is first given to a child),
Churakarma (tonsure ceremony), Karnavedh (ear piercing
ceremony), Upanayan (investiture with sacred thread),
Vedarambh (the start of education of the Vedas), Samavartan
(ceremony performed on the return of the student from gurukul),
Grihastha or householder, Vanaprastha or retirement, Sanyas
or renunciation and Antyeshti or last rites.
Religious Sacrifice
17. All holy work, starting from the ceremony in which offerings
are made to the consecrated fire, are called religious sacrifices
or yagna.
18. Brahmayagna (worship of God), Devyagna (ceremony in which
offerings are made to the sacrificial fire), Pitriyagna (service to
parents), Baliveswadev yagna (eating after offering food to
others or keeping a portion aside for others), and Atithi yagna
(Travellers who are scholarly, helps others, has control over
the senses, religious, truthful, and without craftiness are called
guests and one should always serve them). These five great
yagnas are our ancient culture.
Satsang
19. That, on the doing of which one gets away from untruth or
falsehood and acquires the truth, is known as Satsang. That
which leads us to entanglement with sin is called bad company.
Respect
20. Respect is mother and belief is father. Respect is the
consecrated fire of the purifying yagna of life. Respect is the
perception of divine knowledge. Respect is the acquisition of
the highest knowledge and the staircase to eternal peace. In
our religious life, respect is the holy water that is sprinkled
during worship.
The Way to Freedom from Bondage
21. If a persons thoughts and wisdom always remain still as when
he is in good company, undergoing self-reflection, in the
cremation ground or in times of trouble, then the person
becomes free from the bonds of attachment and illusion.
Heaven and Hell
22. Achieving special happiness on the personal, familial, social,
economic and spiritual fronts is heaven; and achieving
circumstances of extraordinary sorrow is hell.
Salvation
23. To become free from sorrow and the causes of sorrow such as
disease, fear, sadness, five afflictions, birth and death, etc. is
salvation.
Death
24. Death is not the solution because birth is certain after death.
Hence, accepting death in weariness or getting scared of life or
being hurt by the troubles or betrayal of near and dear ones is
foolishness.
25. It is the mind or mana that should be killed or destroyed. On
destruction of the mind there will be a new birth. You will gain
a new vision and find a beautiful world around you. And then
you will feel the joy of life. Life will become a celebration. The
day we understand life, lifes sadness will end on that day.
The Eight Benchmarks The Touchstone of Truth
26. The eight evidences include that which is perceived, inferred,
compared, heard, traditional, reasoned, possible and absent,
and it is through these that we get the knowledge of truth and
untruth. These are the benchmarks of research and truth. These
eight evidences are the touchstone of the highest knowledge.
Creations Oldest Book Veda
27. According to the Indian belief, Veda is the pure knowledge that
evolved from the pure souls of the four sages Agni, Vayu, Aditya
and Angira in the beginning of the creation. The oldest text of
the Indian culture and tradition, Veda is not merely a book on
the methods of worship or work. It is the first text that
encompasses everything from complete teachings of
knowledge and science to universal and scientific truths.
28. Veda is the divine and universal truth that emerged from the
pure souls of the four sages, Agni, Vayu, Aditya and Angira in
the beginning of the creation and got transformed into Rig,
Yaju, Sam and Atharva on knowledge, science, religion, work
principles, etc.
Vedic Texts
29. Texts written by our ancient sages are called Vedic texts. They
contain the highest truth without any bias. Man, being affected
by ignorance, prejudice, selfishness and obstinacy, may also
write something wrong. Hence, the texts written by sages that
come in the category of self-realization include six
philosophies, eleven Upanishads, the Gita, the Mahabharat,
the Balmiki Ramayana, etc. and the book of divine knowledge,
the Veda. If the writings of a scholar follows the Vedas, truth,
science and is supported by evidence, then even these can be
studied. If a writer writes unnecessary and unscientific things,
then you should not waste your valuable time and money.
Upveda
30. The science of age is called Ayurveda, the knowledge of
weaponry and their use is called Dhanurveda, the science of
vocal modulation and music is called Gandharvaveda and the
knowledge of art is called Shilpashastra. These are the four
Upvedas or the sciences deduced from the Vedas.
Vedanga
31. Education, Kalp, Grammar, Nirukt, Verse and Astrology are the
universal knowledge of the Vedic texts. These are called
Vedanga or the six subordinate branches of the Vedas
Upanishad
32. There are eleven Upanishads. The hidden knowledge of the
sages on spiritual truth is presented in the form of messages
and dialogues in the Upanishads.
Philosophy
33. The six texts composed by the sages Gemini, Kanad, Gautam,
Patanjali, Kapil and Vyas Mimansa, Vaisheshik, Nyay, Yoga,
Saknhya and Vedanta are called philosophies or Upang.
34. Religious Texts
The Ramayana : Composed by the great Sage Balmiki in Sanskrit
language, Ramayana is the first epic that describes the pure character
of Lord Rama. In this there is a conception of various relations,
broader view, of rules such as ideal parental devotion, devotion
towards the mother, beneficial political duties, etc. From this text,
we get to know the values of an ideal and disciplined life; the
character of an ideal woman, her purity and devotion towards her
husband; ideal love of a brother; the high standards of socially
beneficial nationalism. This epic has been translated into many
languages.
The Gita : This world famous text is a part of Mahabharata,
composed by great sage Vyas. In its 18th chapter, 18 kinds of yoga
have been described by Yogesheswar Sri Krishna. In this, Arjun, who
is despondent in the battlefield, is given the knowledge of the duties
of a kshatriya. Narrating the importance of yoga through the medium
of leRoa ;ks x mP;rs , the great messages of Karma Yoga such as
deZ.;sokfkdkjLrs ek Qys"kq dnkpu and ifj=k.kk; lkkwuka fouk'kk; p nq"rke~
are found in the Gita, which, even today, inspires and motivates
people who feel low, dispirited and gloomy to start some good work.
The Bible : The Christian text gives messages of humanity, love,
and service to mankind. Special importance has been given to the
fact that every good deed that we do makes God happy and every
sin we commit saddens God. God is always with us.
The Quran : In this religious text of the Muslims, there is the
advice of giving all human beings safety, peace, social goodwill and
good of mankind. Here importance has been given to Takva, meaning
penance, sacrifice, patience and strength. Roza has been considered
a duty, devotion to God, so that one can understand the hunger and
thirst of the poor and also can keep one bodies fit.
The Guru Granth Sahib : For the welfare of mankind and to
awaken strength, devotion and valour, Guru Nanakji, Guru Angad
Devji, Guru Amardas ji, Guru Ramdasji, Guru Arjundevji, Guru
Hargovindji, Guru Har Raiji, Guru Harkrishnaji, Guru Teghbahadurji,
and Guru Govind Singhji have advised in this holy book, Ek Nur te
sabjag upajya, Kaun bhale kaun mande, meaning there is one divine
light and the entire world is lit by it.
Shad-Darshan or the six schools of the Indian Philosophy : The
main subject of the schools of Indian Philosophy is philosophy of
the soul, complete philosophy of the world and nature and
communication with the Divine Lord. The Indian philosophy has been
divided into two segments Astik and Nastik. Charvak, Buddhist
and Jain philosophies are considered Nastik while Nyay, Vaisheshik,
Sankhya, Yoga, Eastern Mimansa and Vedanta (Northern Mimansa)
are six Astik philosophies. In philosophies, the combination of two
philosophies complete each other; for example, the combination
of Sankhya and Yoga, Nyay and Vaisheshik, and eastern Mimansa
and Vedanta.
The eleven Upanishads : The Upanisad is the simplified spiritual
description of the Vedas, Upavedas, Brahman texts (the theological
part of the Vedas, different from the mantras), and Aranyaks. In
other words, it tells us how to work in a detached manner with
penance, surrender and knowledge for 100 years, getting the
necessary knowledge of God, living beings, nature, and obtaining
salvation or freedom.
Jain texts : The philosophy of the great ascetic saint Mahavir on
non-violence, truth, self-realization and renunciation is found in
Jain scriptures.
Buddhist texts : The teachings of renunciation of illusion and
obstinacy, eight-fold path and freedom from sorrow and eternal
peace in the form of Nirvana are found in the Buddhist texts.
God
35. God, life and nature these have existence without beginning.
36. We are all children of God. That God is the image of
Sacchidananda, formless, all-powerful, just, kind, without birth,
eternal, unequalled, basis of everything, Lord of all,
omnipresent, all-knowing, ever young, immortal, fearless,
constant, pure and the creator. Everybody should worship this
one God. He is the mother and father of all.
37. With the help of prayer to the Lord, we obtain detachment
from the world and endless love from God. We become free
from pride and get godly qualities with devotion and prayer.
38. When we accept God, it is also a divine truth that we ourselves
have first been accepted by God.
39. The great sage Patanjali considers Him to be God, who is free
from affliction (five afflictions including ignorance), work
(good-bad), change of state (birth-death) and hopes (desire),
and is all-knowing, omnipresent, all-powerful, just and kind.
Living Beings
40. Living beings are the immortal children of God. Individual souls
can never become the supreme soul. Individual souls can never
become all-knowing, omnipresent or all-powerful. This is the
difference between living beings and God. A life is a drop of
water while God is the river. Life in the form of a drop joins the
river and becomes part of it! Superficially we may say that the
drop becomes the river but the truth is that the drop, even
after becoming one with the river, still remains a drop and the
river remains the river. The drop becomes a part of the river.
41. The individual soul is free to do whatever it wants but it is
always submissive to God in getting the just fruit for its deeds
according to the divine system.
Karma and Fate
42. Whatever a living being does with his mind, speech and body is
called Karma. There are three stages of karma Kriyaman
(present performance of work), Sanchit (that which is collected)
and Prarabdh or fate. That which is done in the present is
Kriyaman Karma. The influence that the Kriyaman has on the
intellect is Sanchit Karma, while the experiene of the fruit of
work that we have done in this life and our previous births is
Fate.
43. Strength, valour, attraction, inspiration, speed, speech,
judgement, activity, enthusiasm, memory, determination, will,
love, hatred, connection, division, convener, divider, devotion,
touch, vision, tasting, smelling and knowledge these 24
capabilities make a living being worthy of authority.
Nature
44. The association of truth, sin and ignorance is called root nature.
From nature comes wisdom; from wisdom comes arrogance;
from arrogance comes mind, five sense organs, five work
organs, five Tanmatraye (subtle form of matter). From
tanmatraye comes the five elements including earth. These
are the 24 elements and the 25th is living being, that is man, and
God. This is the entire world.
45. Nature is our mother. We should protect it. Trees are like our
father who protects us. The amount of oxygen that you have
taken in this life, the same amount of oxygen should be returned
to nature by planting trees otherwise the Lord will tell you,
Son! You havent returned the oxygen you have breathed by
planting trees. Hence, now go and balance your account books!
Now become a tree and return the amount of oxygen you have
taken from nature!
Pilgrimage
46. That with which man crosses the ocean of sorrow is called
pilgrimage. The service and company of parents, teacher,
scholarly and worthy people, religious undertaking and holy
work is pilgrimage.
Cause of Sorrow
47. What you have with you is what you share with others and
what you give to others is what you get in return. If you have
love, kindness, affection, happiness and joy then you will also
share this with others and you will get these in return from
others. And if you are filled with anger and hatred, then
whatever you share, you will get. Whatsoever you sow, that
will you reap. We sow the seeds of acacia trees and in return,
instead of thorns we want flowers which we do not get. This is
the reason for our sorrow.
End of Sorrow
48. We ourselves are the cause for our sorrow and happiness. The
day we understand this truth that day our sorrow will end. If
you smile then the world smiles at you and if you feel
depressed, sad, hopeless, and defeated then the world seems
sad to you.
49. Happiness comes from within, not from outside. When you are
in the state of complete silence or concentration then
happiness emerges. It comes down from within. We build up
obstinacy towards everything religion, truth, saints, life, work,
duty, non-duty, body and the entire universe on the basis of
the sanchit, what we hear, what we see, and inferred
knowledge.
50. Only he who does not have any obstinacy reaches the pinnacle
of life. We have to break our obstinacy. Obstinacy builds
arrogance and false illusion, it makes us wicked and narrow-
minded. When obstinacy is broken, the doors of truth open.
Only knowledge will bring about arrogance. Only knowledge
will, like a desert, bring about dryness, false pride and
hypocritical or imaginary personality. Hence, knowledge is
incomplete without work. Without work, with only knowledge,
devotion becomes bondage; and without knowledge, devotion
becomes just a show. Hence, only by doing intelligent work we
can obtain Samadhi or salvation.
51. Complete vision is gained with knowledge; this vision should
definitely be used in work and devotion after it is obtained.
Each time, each moment, live a life filled with enthusiasm,
energy and self-confidence.
52. God has created you for great work. Social and moral values,
truth, non-violence, humanitarianism, sensitivity, purity of
character, and tolerance will bring about global good, the world
will become happier. Before this, do not also forget that if you
do not believe or have faith in these moral values, then your
personal life can never remain happy.
Industries
53. Industries are the temples of progress of Mother India where
priests in the form of workers worship Mother India with their
work, and make the country prosperous and powerful. If we
want to make India magnificent and a superpower in the world,
then we have to respect industries, factories and workshops
like temples. Just as there are never any strikes in a temple and
its doors remain open to everyday, similarly there shouldnt be
any strike in the industry and factory the temples. We should
look upon strikes in factories as a crime akin to betrayal of the
nation.
Man
54. A man is someone who does his work thoughtfully. euqHkZo tu;k
nSO;a tue~ (Atharva Veda 8.1.6)
Gift
55. The love, thought, feeling and strength that is given is much
more important than the object given as a gift.
Arrogance and Laziness
56. There is no greater enemy than arrogance, and there is no
greater crime than laziness. Crime is not merely absence of sin.
Not doing any good also falls in the category of sin. A lazy person
is committing crime because he is not doing any good work.
Not opposing sin, injustice or irreligion is also a crime. In this
way, if you are not part of the solution, then you yourself are a
problem.
Doubt
57. You should never misuse power, disrespect knowledge and
doubt belief. In life, doubt is like a computer virus.
Sanchayatma Vinasyati (Gita).
True Heritage
58. It is not important how much property you leave for your
children; what is important are the values you give them as
inheritance, because it is with the seed of values they will build
the mansion of life or establish the kingdom of the world.
Meaning of Progress
59. Progress does not mean how much or the great amount of
wealth is acquired by a wealthy person. The true meaning of
progress should be how much education, medical treatment,
social justice and honour we are being able to give to the
common man in our country and in the world.
Importance of the Present
60. The complete effort in doing ones own duties or work with
complete knowledge, strength, energy, valour and self-respect
is known as hard work. Hard work is stronger than fate because
it is hard work that creates destiny. The hard work of this
moment decides the fate of the next moment. It is the truth
that life only exists in the present; the past has already
occurred. It has lost its reality and its authority. That which has
not come as yet is the future. Future never comes. That is why
it is called unknown. That which has come has become the
present. Hence, authority is there only with the present, and
present is the creator of the past and future. Living in the
present is yoga.
Four Ashrams
61. The gradual steps in life are the four ashrams or religious orders
of Brahmacharya (student), Grihastha (householder),
Vanaprastha (retirement) and Sanyas (renunciation).
States
62. Awakened, dream and unconsciousness are the three states of
mind.
63. When the mind is doing work through the organs, it is in
awakened state. When the mind is doing work even when the
organs are not working, during sleep, it is dream state. When
all the entire organs and mind completely stop working and
only breathing occurs, it is unconscious state.
Balance
64. Wealth is not everything but it is also true that only wealth
brings about fruitfulness. Without wealth, everything becomes
meaningless or waste. More wealth than required also brings
about downfall. Hence, balance is the eternal principle of life
and the world.
65. Balance is health. It is physical and emotional imbalance, non-
control, irregularity and disproportion that bring about ill-
health.
Administrator
66. He who himself lives with control can become a true instructor,
teacher, administrator or leader.
67. Only he whose behaviour is softer than a flower, whose
discipline is tougher than the thunderbolt and who has a
determined nature can become a true instructor, administrators
and leader.
Yoga Education, Not Sex Education
68. Character building of youth and students will take place with
yoga education, not with sex education. Unfortunately, some
characterless politicians do not want the character of the
people of the nation to be developed with yoga. Their fear is
that if the nation acquires character, then characterless people
will lose their authority. Hence, by advocating sex education,
they are taking their country into a pit.
Cultural Knowledge
69. Physical body or receptacle of food (Annamay kosh), receptacle
of life or vital air (Pran kosh), psycho-emotional body
(Mannomay kosh), Intellectual body (Vigyanmay kosh), and
receptacle of bliss (Anandmay kosh) these are the Panchkosh
or the five bodies (receptacles) within the body according to
the Vedic system.
70. Complete vision with the five basic elements, seven humours
and three doshas is the physical body.
71. Pran (breath), Apan (emission of wind backwards), Saman (air
used in digestion), Udan (air which raises up the throat) and
Vyan (the vital air that circulates in the whole body) are the
five vital airs, and Naga, Koorma, Krinkal, Devadutta and
Dhananjaya are the five upaprans or sub-types. This is the
receptacle of vital air.
72. Mind, Ego and the five work organs speech, hands, feet, kidney
and urinary organs these seven elements form the psycho-
emotional body.
73. Wisdom, intellect and five sense organs (ears, eyes, skin,
tongue and nose) these seven elements form the intellectual
body.
74. That in which the light, energy, peace and happiness of the
soul is experienced in true nature is the receptacle of bliss.
75. Ancient texts such as Atreya, Satpath-Brahman are books
written by sages. These are called Puranas, history, Kalpa, Gatha
and Narasanshi.
Devotee and Trouble
76. This is also an eternal truth that the kind and loving Lord throws
his devotee very far away from Him into the forests of danger,
trouble, poverty, want and misfortune so that he feels the
hunger of desperation, restlessness and the separation, and
gradually, step by step, comes near the Lord, learning the
mystery of each factor and drinks the nectar of His love.
The Way to Success
77. There is no greater enemy than arrogance and there is no greater
crime than laziness.

Soul is the rider of this body chariot. Wisdom is the
charioteer and mind is the reins. The sense organs are the
horses that run on the roads of experiences. The soul is
experiencing with the help of the senses and mind. One who
has divine knowledge and holds the reins like mind firmly and
steers the chariot away from the roads of worldly pleasures
and desires, and drives on the roads of truth, restraint and good
conduct, he will reach his destination.
78. Gain victory over desires and tastes with prayer. He whose
words are always true and has control over his actions cannot
be defeated by any power on earth.
79. Sublime thoughts, hard work and firm determination these
are the three mottos of success.
Happy Life
80. The aim of life is not worldly pleasures, gambling, drinking
alcohol, eating meat, travelling, enjoying leisure and
entertainment. Life gives satisfaction, happiness, and
contentment. When we serve others we can obtain
contentment, happiness and complete satisfaction with
devotion.
81. Everyone is able to get six feet of land to live, two garments to
cover the body, and two rotis to satisfy hunger. The thirst of
people is never quenched. Hence, Veda Bhagavat says rsu
R;su HkqthFkk% (Yajurveda 40.1). Go through worldly experiences

82. m|kua rs iq#"k uko;kue~ (Atharvavaeda 8.1.6) O Man! God has
created you to rise high, not to fall low.
Popularity
83. A person will reach the pinnacle of popularity by showing love
towards the younger, respect towards the elders, giving the
credit of success to everyone, always remaining happy and
having positive thinking.
Virtue
84. Doing good towards oneself and others is virtue and doing harm
is vice.
Sacrifice
85. The meaning of sacrifice is leaving aside boundaries and
entering into the limitless and immeasurable eternity. Sacrifice
does not mean letting go but making the vastness known to
oneself. Only by entering zero does birth and solution take
place. It is only by meditation that you can enter a zero-like
state.
86. It is only by entering the unknown that the doors of the known
will be opened. It is only by reaching the stage of
thoughtlessness that you will attain divine thought.
87. When each birth of qualities has occurred then the attractions
fail to attract the person any more and he becomes free from
life.
88. To make a change it is not time but determination that is
required. The wicked people can change with just one moment
of pure resolution or thought and become good and virtuous.
Success
89. No person is born great by birth, nor is anyone high or low by
birth. Even in Indian culture, the caste system is not based on
birth but on work. Deeds make a man great. One who dedicates
his life to performing his duties with constant effort, courage,
patience, bravery, hard work and valour definitely reaches the
pinnacle of success in life. Truth and continuous work is success.
The constant flow of work brings success.
Evidence
90. That which is known through the sense organs and the mind is
perceiving; knowledge of fire after seeing smoke, etc. is
assumption; those which have similar forms is comparison,
such as comparing a cow with a Nilgai; and the true advice of
completely reliable and God, that is godlike great men, is called
evidence. The history that is based on such a word evidence
and a path free from untruth is called traditional theory. If by
saying one thing, the second thing is understood without being
said, it is called Arthapatti. The thing that has evidence,
reasoning and order of creation is called possible. The
knowledge that is based on the absence is called absence. Just
as someone asks someone also to bring water, and the person
who is to bring water sees that water is not here but should be
got from where it is. This knowledge is called absence
evidence.
Theism
91. Belief and faith in existence is belief in the existence of God or
theism. See the unseen in the seen, the large in the small, and
the tree in the seed. The dwarf is also the giant.
Fate
92. Just as a sculptor makes stone idols, we too sculpt our own
destinies.

security and shield. No power on earth can defeat you.
Surrender
95. The abandonment of the Ego is surrender. Jealousy, hatred,
intolerance, wickedness, thirst, anger are all divergences of
arrogance. Hence, always live life as a witness.
96. Never consider yourself to be the master. We are all trustees of
the Trust of God. The complete end of afflictions is reaching
God.

PERSONAL AND NATIONAL THOUGHTS

1. Leave Double Standards
Make Personal and Public Life Pure!
Character and self-respect falling victims to selfishness
Double standards of people are the biggest hurdle to the rise
and progress of any society. A lot of contrast is seen between our
personal and social life today. According to the Indian Vedic tradition
of Yadantar Tad Bahya Yad Bahya Tadantaram, our internal and
external lives used to be the same. Unfortunately, today, the people
mounted at the crest of religion and politics have started singing a
new tune: Look at our social lives and do not try to peep into our
personal lives. Iron-man Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel, Lal Bahadur
Shastri, Maharshi Swami Dayanand Saraswati and Yogi Shri
Aurobinda, etc were such great men whose internal and external
lives were pure and without any stain. Unfortunately, the religious
and political leaders today have turned traditions and principles
upside down. Earlier, political leaders used to do Shirshasana, and
hence the country used to run well. Nowadays, leaders have stopped
doing Shirshasana, thus the country is turning upside down. This is
why in the education sector, sex education is being advocated
instead of yoga education.
At present, approximately 4500 companies across the country
are selling products made with zero technology to the people and
every year approximately 90,000 crore rupees are being sent out of
the country in the form of profits of these companies. In the
neighbouring country of China, multinational companies run
according to the Chinese government. There, the major portion of
the profits has to be spent by the MNCs in local development, and
they have to take the permission of the government to take the
profit out of the country. There is no such provision in India. We say
Vande Mataram but do not mean it. This is harmful for the nation.
National character and self-respect are on wane today. Entangled in
selfishness and narrowness, the society has forgotten its values,
and I do not know where it will end up. Every person is acting. It is
true that it is very nice to see the acting, but it is also an eternal truth
that a person needs to live in reality. Acting out the emotions of
love, patriotism, power, knowledge, capability, meditation,
devotion, form, grace, purity and skill, people are moving quite far
away from truth. This is dangerous for culture and mankind. No good
can come out of this for any nation or society.
A truthful person is not very good at acting. It is also equally
true that acting cannot be considered as the reality. Our soul is
always aware of acting and truth. Hence, we have to leave this
pageantry, drama and superstition and move towards the truth. Only
then will our internal and external personalities would be one.
2. Give such a Form to Religion
that every Person on Earth could Accept it
Some questions connected with religion, God and the
Constitution force us to think. Religion, God and the laws and rules
of a nation, in a way, play an important role in increasing friendship,
kindness, love, goodwill, happiness, peace and prosperity in a
nation. Unfortunately, some representatives of different
communities are spreading illusion in the name of religion for cheap
publicity. They know very well that religion never permits the
breaking of hearts and spreading of hatred.
Even then, because of narrowness, they misuse religion. Such
persons are very harmful to a nation and society. One should never
doubt the proofs given by sages and great men. However, it is
possible that maybe it is not religion that religious leaders, pandits,
granthis, mullah-maulavis or fathers are preaching, maybe it is just
an illusion or betrayal in the name of religion. The selfishness,
obstinacy, ignorance or arrogance of these religious leaders wont
let you get introduced to the truth. Or else, if you too hunt for
religion, truth and goodness with the light of obstinacy, selfishness,
arrogance or ignorance, then you too wont be able to get introduced
to the truth. Hence, the hunt for religion, truth and goodness with
the light of science, knowledge and self-knowledge, leaving aside
obstinacy. Our learned sages have said :- "You are your own guru.
Search for knowledge, truth and God from within."
At the time of Indias independence, some scholars studied
the Constitutions of many counties. The laws made by the British,
who abided by the primary law of Put your foot down and rule, to
rule over us were included in the Indian Constitution. In the present
circumstances, it is important to take a look at the laws regarding
religion and the Constitution, and it is necessary to have a discussion
with a positive view on some aspects of these. It must be kept in
mind that the religious feelings and faith of people are not hurt.
A solution should be found to prevent division in the name of
casteism, fanaticism and religion. At this time, it is important to
solve many burning issues and questions. In ancient times, when
there was no religious text, was there a kingdom of irreligion?
Thousands of years ago, there was no temple, mosque, gurudwara
or church on earth. Everyone used to pray to the Lord under the
open skies. The question is were people of those days happy or are
the people happier now while praying in temples and mosques?
The definition and language of science is the same across the
world. Religion is also a science of life. Why cant its description and
language also be the same? Some organizations established in the
name of religion are spreading illusions. To maintain unity, morality,
administration and justice in society, a Constitution and law and
order are required. In the same way, to maintain happiness, peace
and joy in our internal lives, religion is necessary. We are humans
before we are Hindus, Muslims or Christians, then why cant the
Constitution and religion of the entire world be one? Why cant
learned men decide an equal Constitution for world peace?
Why shouldnt all women get equal rights? One should also
notice the reservation going on in the nation on the basis of caste
and religion. Actually the time has come now to move away from
the shelter of the temple, mosque, church, parliament and
assemblies and move under the open skies where every good and
learned person talks about religion and the Constitution. Religion
and Constitution should be defined on the basis of human values
and emotions leaving aside selfishness, narrowness and obstinacy.
Religion and Constitution should be given such a form that every
individual and every nation can adopt it. Religion is for uniting, for
peace and non-violence. It is not a weapon for breaking or for
spreading restlessness and hatred.
3. The Joy of Gods Authority in Samadhi
The Road to Fulfillment of Life and Salvation is
Hidden in Highest Peak of the Knowledge
Meditating upon the Lord, who is the very image of happiness, light
and peace, a person becomes so absorbed in Omkar, the Supreme
Lord, that he forgets himself. He just experiences the divine joy of
God this is nothingness. Maharshi Dayanandji used to say that the
person who meditates, the mind with which he meditates and the
thing on which he meditates, exists. However, in Samadhi, the soul is
concentrated on the Lords form of joy, peace and light. Just as a
person upon diving into water remains under water for some time,
similarly man merges himself in the joy of the Supreme Lord to get
joy in Samadhi. It is said by the sage in another way. Just as an iron
rod placed in fire acquires the form of fire, similarly in the light of
the divine knowledge of God, the soul too becomes enlightened
and forgets the body, etc. and becomes ecstatic with the Lords light
and knowledge. This is Samadhi.
Shri Bhoj Maharaj gives the meaning of Samadhi in this way :
lE;xk/kh;rs ,dkxzh f;rs fo{ksiku~ ifjR; euks ;= l lekf/k% (Bhojvriti
Vibhutipad 3.3).
That in which the mind is removed from perplexity and is
concentrated, is called Samadhi. The first words described in
Yogdarshan are Savitark Samapti. In meditation, differences
remain between word, meaning and knowledge, and when there is
end of all reasoning (Nirvitak Samapti), it should be understood as
the state of Samadhi. In this state of ecstasy of Sampragya Samadhi,
the devotee gets the blessings of God in the form of divine
knowledge. After this, there are various stages of Samadhi Nirbeej
(seedless) Samadhi. There is a layer of past experiences in the
worldly experiences, pleasures and desires. When these
experiences and their influences are removed along with the seed,
then all afflictions get completely cured. Then the possibility of
attachment and bondage also disappear. This is called Nirbeej
Samadhi. This is the fulfilment of yoga and life. Asceticism is the
highest peak of knowledge. Reaching this pinnacle through yoga is
Moksh, on attaining which the yogi feels that he has attained
everything that has to be attained and all afflictions (false
knowledge, false memory, anger, hatred and attachment) that had
to be removed have been destroyed; as if the cycle of obtaining one
body from another has been torn apart.
4. Spiritualism is the Solution to all Problems
A person who attains self-knowledge remains
far from corruption, religious fanaticism and crime
Maharshi Patanjalis yoga begins after going beyond the mind.
Only when we go above the mind, our personality attains divinity,
equilibrium and comprehensiveness. The mind contains obstinacy;
the mind has the reality - less past and innumerable fantasies of the
future. We want to live in the known and are scared of the unknown.
That is why we are not able to gather courage to do something new
because the unknown is hidden, mysterious and unsaid. It is true
that only those people have given something new to the world and
only those people can do something new, who have gathered
courage and dived into the unknown. These mysteries will be
revealed, solutions will be found and illusion, fear and delusion
will end. There is obstinacy and narrowness in the mind, there are
boundaries and bondages in the mind. To obtain the vast, limitless
eternity, you have to enter the conscious mode.
We have made our lifes centre outside. I means land,
mansion, money, wealth, authority, status, youth and the wish to
gather external wealth. This is where the journey of lifes destruction
begins because a person considers his identity and personality to
be outside. Thus, even his prayers of becoming great or happy in life
are also built outside. Earlier, a person used to be considered great
because of his wide vision, sacrifice, restraint, struggle and values
of life. Today, the standards of greatness are external pomp. Hence,
a person gathers wealth and considers the progress of his wealth to
be the ultimate truth of life, and in the final hours of life regrets that
whatever he had obtained in his life, is being removed from him.
The wealth, status and authority, which were obtained after losing
our nights sleep and days peace, would be taken away from us at
the time of death.
The sorrow is not of death but of losing everything and of where
will I go after death. The main point of the thoughts and philosophy
of the sages of India is life and death. Today we just think while
placing life at the centre. All the theories of progress and science
are centered only on life. People are scared of death and they are
thus not even prepared to think about it. I have never opposed
materialism, science and progress. However, it is also true that I
have always kept self-knowledge as the primary goal in life. Without
the equilibrium of materialism and spiritualism, the hope of a
healthy, prosperous and happy world will remain a dream.
A completely spiritual person remains far away from
corruption, crime, casteism and religious fanaticism. He who has
identified the real I beyond the body and the mind and has himself
seen the diffusion of the I will not betray others in this manner. He
cannot be a traitor to his nation; he cannot be an accomplice in
bribery, theft, dacoity, murder and crime. Spiritualism is the answer
to the burning problems of people and the nation.
5. Religion is being efined on the basis of Selfishness
Leave aside thoughts of salvation and heaven, do your work!
There is need for positive change in the present political and
religious thought. Politicians pride themselves in saying that they
are indifferent towards religion. However, they forget that no one
can live without religion. Religion is not merely another name for
going to the temple, mosque, gurudwara or chapel. Religion is the
name of those values, rules and limits, following which will bring
joy, peace and prosperity to the person, family, nation and world.
Religion is the carrying out of duties and responsibilities with
sincerity. Religious indifference does not mean insulting people who
have many different religions and spiritual faiths or unrestrained
war on someone; it is also not about abusing the majority community
and declaring yourself to be the well wisher and supporter of a
minority community. In fact, from the point of view of linguistic
science, the word religious indifference is meaningless because
every person, thing or substance is influenced by religion, and is not
indifferent to it.
It is unfortunate that today we have declared external rituals
of worship as religion and across the entire world today, we mostly
see illusion, wickedness, hatred and religious conversions going on
in the name of religion. If we look at history, we will know that 2000
years ago, there was no monastery, temple, mosque or church on
earth. Approximately before 2000 years, there was no knowledge
of the Puranas, the Quran or the Bible. Before 5000 years, there was
no knowledge of the Gita and before 9 lakh years, even the
Ramayana wasnt there. So, didnt religion exist before this? The
cultural history of India is many lakhs of years old, and at that time,
the great sages of India considered life-values to be religion.
The great sage Manu declared patience, forgiveness, restraint,
purity, control of senses, learning, truth and the absence of anger as
religion. By forgetting non-violence, truth, equality, contentment
and global friendship, we are considering our external life to be
religion. Just as the word religious indifference is meaningless, the
word religious-conversion is also meaningless because when truth,
non-violence, sacrifice, love, tolerance, sensitivity, service and good
to others is religion then what is the meaning of religion-conversion?
If by religion-conversion our lifes values do not change, then what
is the need of religion-conversion? Religion inspires us to leave
aside our selfishness and take up universal feelings so why is there
the selfishness of reservation in the name of religion and feeling of
difference? Conspiracy in the name of religion is a hurdle in the way
of the countrys progress. Hence, the people representing the
various religious organizations also should not define religion
according to their own needs. Dividing the nation on the basis of
religion and caste is dangerous for national unity and integrity.
Unfortunately, the system given in the Constitution in the name of
religion, caste and sub-caste has been misused by politicians to
divide the nation. We have to rise above our own needs, and should
not identify ourselves on the basis of caste, religion or community.
We should not doubt the theories of great learned men and sages.
However, it is possible that religion is not what is being preached by
religious leaders, pandits, granthis, mulla-maulvis or fathers. It may
be an illusion and betrayal in the name of religion. These
aforementioned religious leaders do not let you know the truth
because of their own selfish needs, obstinacy, ignorance and
arrogance. And if you yourself start defining religion being overcome
by obstinacy, selfishness, arrogance or ignorance then you too wont
get to know the truth. Hence, search for religion, truth and goodness
with the light of science, knowledge and self-knowledge, leaving
aside obstinacy. The teachers and external guides may misguide
you. Hence, our great sages have said, become your own guru.
Search for religion, truth and the Supreme Lord from within.
Indianness is our identity, humanitarianism is our religion and
mankind is our caste. Living with this feeling, we will consider our
work to be our worship.
6. Real Global Peace will be established only by Eight-fold Yoga
This has stood the test of the life processes of
religion, humanity and science
Every person on earth wants peace and happiness. All the
nations of the world agree on the point that peace should be
established on earth. Each year, for this reason only, one person
gets honoured with the Nobel Prize for peace.
Everyone, according to his or her intellect, thinks about this
but a solution that is acceptable to all has not come about. Someone
says that when a certain religion is the only religion on earth, there
would be peace. Someone else says that if everyone surrenders to
a certain God (great man, incarnation or guru), there will be global
peace and happiness. In India, there is an overflow of communities,
religious thoughts and gurus and each one makes the claim that
walking on the path shown by him will lead to global peace and
happiness. There is no such clarity, or completeness in all these
routes as would be accepted by the entire mankind. Each has its
own limitations.
There has been autocratic establishments and bloody battles
for the aforementioned religions but there has been no outcome.
Restlessness is on the increase. This means that the issues that the
people of the world have been thinking about are meaningful but
lack completeness, wideness and totality. On accepting these
popular sects, communities and aforementioned religions, a person
gets a little peace on one side and on the other, he gets trapped by
some superstitions, bad behaviour and false obstinacies associated
with the communities, which are very difficult to get rid of. Can
there be such rules and regulations or limits on which each person
of the world can walk? That which will not compromise the unity
and integrity of any country or person; that which can be accepted
by each individual, and lifes complete peace, happiness and joy can
be found? One such path on which each person on earth can walk
with complete independence fearlessly and complete happiness,
peace and joy of life can be obtained is the eight-fold yoga
established by the sage Patanjali. This is not a sect, religion or
community but a complete way of life. If the people of the world
are serious about establishing world peace, then this is the only
solution practice of eight-fold yoga. It is only through eight-fold
yoga that personal and social equality, physical health, mental peace
and spiritual joy can be experienced.
Ashtang yoga or eight-fold yoga stands the test of religion,
spirituality, humanitarianism and science. If the bloody battles on
earth can be stopped by any method then it is this Ashtang yoga.
Ashtang yoga has the unique co-existence of the highest level of
spirituality from general behaviour to meditation and then to
Samadhi.
7. Non-Vegetarian Food harms Human Sensitivity
Meat eating destroys kindness, pity, love and other good qualities
Maharshi Charak had a very beautiful view on food. Once
Maharshi Charak asked his disciple, Who is not sick, that is who is
healthy? Maharshis learned pupil Bhagbhatt replied, One who
eats beneficial food, in the right quantity and eats food suitable to the
season. Understand your nature (Vat, Pitta and Kapha) and take food
according to that. Food decides a persons nature and behaviour.
Vegetarianism cools temperament. Meat eating builds up anger in a
person. If your nature is Vata or wind, then you should leave wind-
building substances such as rice and sour things and keep using choti
pippali, dry ginger, ginger, etc. People with pitta nature should not
eat hot, fried stuff and meals with raw cucumber, however gourds, etc
are beneficial. Kapha people should not eat lot of cold substances such
as rice, curd, buttermilk, etc. Eating food according to what is available
in the season keeps diseases away. Meals taken at odd times lead to
indigestion and ill health.
In the morning, between 8-9am, it is good to take a light drink
or fruits. The less use of cooked food in the morning is better. People
who are above 50 years of age should not eat cooked food in the
morning. It is better to take the midday meal between 11-12o clock
in the morning. It is okay to have your food between 12-1pm in the
afternoon but after that it is not advisable. For the evening meal, 7-
8 pm is the best time, 8-9 pm is okay but as far as possible should not
be taken after 9pm. Talking during meals leads to poor chewing and
you also end up eating more. Chew well while eating. One mouthful
should be chewed 32 times or at least 20 times. Eating food while
chewing also removes feeling of hatred. There is a shloka in Sanskrit
which means He who drinks water after getting up in the morning,
drinks milk after his evening meal and buttermilk after his midday
meal, such a person does need the Vedas. Do not use meat, eggs,
etc. in your food. God has made us vegetarian. We can all survive
eating rotis which does not involve violence, then why do we have
to kill living beings, end their beloved lives in order to live? It is
better to die than to live like this. Meat eating ends human qualities
such as pity, kindness, sympathy, love, feeling of oneness, respect
and devotion. Men become demons. The stomach of meat-eaters is
like a graveyard.
8. Believe in Yourself and in God!
Auspicious and inauspicious is within us
What is auspicious? This question arises again and again before
us and wants a solution because every person is afraid of the
inauspicious. We have heard since our childhood to avoid
inauspicious work and to protect ourselves from the inauspicious.
We perform rituals to protect ourselves from the inauspicious and
before embarking on any task or journey, we calculate the auspicious
time, position of stars, etc. Days are divided into auspicious and
inauspicious parts, we hunt for auspicious and inauspicious in
planets, and even in directions we establish auspicious and
inauspicious. Be it for any purification ritual such as name-giving
ceremony, sacred thread ceremony, etc. we are always alert about
auspicious-inauspicious, and we move out in search of those people
who are said to be learned or else can read our horoscopes, planetary
positions or faults in directions.
When man gets turned down by everyone and betrayed even
after trying everything, then he sits down in a hopeless state,
dependent on fate, and finally becomes an atheist. But have you
ever gathered the courage to think what is auspicious? Instead of
asking others, have you asked yourself? What is auspicious? Let us
ask ourselves this question and become silent for a moment. The
solution will come on its own, from within. Others might cheat you
but you will never be able to cheat yourself. Are there the same
standards of auspicious-inauspicious in the other nations as in India?
I will say that we have unnecessarily harboured an illusion. A cat
crossing the road is inauspicious, sneezing is inauspicious! What is
wrong if you sneeze? This is a common phenomenon of the body.
What is inauspicious in it?
It is understandable that when a wild animal moves in front of
you, you let it go. You wait for a while because the animals have the
first right to walk on the path, but what is this superstition of it
being inauspicious for them to cross your path? Do we think before
eating whether eating meat, alcohol, etc. is auspicious or
inauspicious for us? Before you are about to do something, just be
silent for a moment and ask your conscious soul, and listen
attentively to whatever reply comes to you from within and do as
directed. You will never be cheated. Whenever you are about to do
some good work and there is a feeling of joy, energy and enthusiasm
within you, you should understand that your guru, astrologer,
scriptures and God are motivating you to do that task. Whenever
you are about to do something wrong and there is a fear within you
and you are in doubt, and there is a feeling of shame and dislike,
then you should understand that this is inauspicious for you. All
directions, days, time and moments are made by God. These are all
auspicious. Instead of depending on others, believe in yourself and
in God! Everything will be auspicious.
9. Shortage of Self-confidence, not of Skills
Defeat western and cosmopolitan culture with
nationalism and spiritualism
I am proud that I an born in India, and I feel self-confident of
the fact that I am an inheritor of the worlds oldest and wealthiest
culture, civilization and traditions. All the cultures of the world
revolve around 2000-3000 years while in India, we see that in our
various religions, the glorious, golden history has been continuously
flowing since the beginning of the creation.
In the holy moments of the beginning of the new victorious,
golden year, let us think about our past, present and future. Taking
pride in our past, let us work towards a hopeful and bright future
with a mission, by being alert, awake, intelligent and hard working
in the present. The nation that had no pride and self-confidence in
its past, no hard work in the present or no hope in the future, that
nation will be ruined. This is what the English did to us. The Indians
who sing the praise of the motherland have been taught and are
still being taught that we are the children of monkeys and not of
mother earth or mother India. This false evolution theory of Darwin
is now being disregarded even by the western scientists, and we
still go by this theory that erases our self-respect and identity. We
are the children of not monkeys but of sages such as Rama, Krishna,
Gautam, Kapil, Kanad, Gemini, Brahma, Panini, Patanjali, etc. Even
today history books give us lessons that continue to enslave us.
We do have respect for our ancestors, and we enjoy the songs
of praise of foreigners. When there is talk about the early scientists,
we remember Einstein and Newton, but forget great scientists such
as Vishwamitra and Bhascaracharya. Before the time people even
listened to talk of aircraft as if in a story, Maharshi Bharadwaj wrote
his text on aircraft and also knew how to build an aircraft. When we
discuss Mathematicians, we read about foreign names such as
Pythagoras in books but tend to forget great Indian Mathematicians
such as Aryabhatta and Shridhar. It is a mockery that when a child
joins the MBBS course to become a doctor or the MD to specialize,
there is not even a single mention of the first fathers of Ayurveda,
Maharshi Charak and the father of surgery, Susrut.
No other country in the world has as much potential as India.
Even today, at the global level, great doctors, engineers, scientists,
economists, thinkers, poets, writers, etc. are the glorious children
of India. Even in the business sector, people such as Laksmi Mittal
have disturbed the sleep of multinational corporations. There is no
lack of talent in our country. There has been a decline in our self-
confidence and self-respect. In the new year, let us unite and move
ahead on all sectors with full confidence and self-respect, and
increase the honour of Mother India.
10. Only the Complete Removal of Doubts and
Afflictions can help us obtain God
The union of knowledge, work and
devotion is the completeness of yoga
Maharishi Patanjali inspires us to leave our crutches and
become self-dependent. Scriptures, gurus, traditions, beads,
markings on the forehead, temples, mosques, monasteries,
gurudwaras, churches these are all supports, crutches. Maharishi
Patanjali makes us truly religious and astik. But he does not do any
acting. He says, "You yourself are the centres of religion." He does
not divide religion into symbols. He motivates you to walk towards
your goal on your own. He asks us to remain constant in sorrow and
joy, praise and insult, coldness and heart action and reaction, victory
and defeat! Do penance! Practise self-thinking! Move ahead on the
road to self-knowledge with penance, struggle, hard work and
sincerity. Along with this, totally surrender unto God! This entire
process will wash away the dirt from your mind! Your afflictions will
wash away.
Maharshi Patanjali did not consider the vision of any idol or
image to be meditation. He says the complete end of afflictions is
obtaining God. Maharshi says the aim of kriyayog is Samadhi,
Sanbodhi, Swarupolabdhi, and complete end of afflictions. He
advises us to practise eight-fold yoga to clean the impurities of the
intellect. Describing the eight-fold yoga of yam, niyam, asana,
pranayam, pratyahar, dharana, dhyan and Samadhi, he says that
without observing these eight, it is impossible to obtain personal or
global peace. Behind all the processes and reactions of yoga of
Maharishi Patanjali, there is one goal and that is removal of darkness
and impurity. Doubts, illusions, obstinacy should break. After this you
do not have to go anywhere, all solutions will come to you. He talks
of obtaining fulfilment through restraint with the help of
concentration of dharana, meditation and Samadhi, He speaks of
the knowledge of the past and eternity with the help of restraint
and explains the way to concentrate inward. He also teaches about
akashman and parkaya entry. He also explains how to obtain
fulfilments such as Anima, Laghima, Garima, etc. Maharshi Patanjali
also unveils the mysteries of physical science and universal science.
Maharshi Patanjali introduces us to the smallest mysteries of
nature. He discusses doubtful, doubtless, thoughtful, thoughtless
Samadhi. He had a totally scientific viewpoint. His path is one of
truth, love, surrender and complete joy. He enables us to feel the
accuracy, destructibility and sorrow absorbing capacity of nature.
He describes yoga as a science. He also tells of a definite result for
each yoga process. He considers the union of gyanyog (knowledge),
bhaktiyog (devotion) and karmyog (work) to yoga. He is not one-
sided. He does not hold any obstinacy. He travels through the
spiritual with the viewpoint of science. He does not chase you away,
he awakens you. He keeps you steady between battle and escape. I
admire Patanjali because I find complete truth in whatever he
advises. No one has inspired me more than Maharshi Patanjali. As
the level of our consciousness rises with yoga, the doors of the
mysteries of yoga too will open for us. We should just move ahead
on the road of devotion, and God himself will help us. I am myself a
devotee and can see that truth is gradually getting uncovered. The
goal of all of us is obtaining complete truth, knowledge of self and
search for reality.
11. Indian Culture is not against Science
According to Yajurveda, the invention of science is
also necessary for happy life
What are the reasons for greatness of cultures earlier to
western culture, or Indian culture? This question arises again and
again in the minds of the youth of the nation. Some people in our
nation ignore our tradition of science and technology and consider
only religion, spirituality, chanting bhajans, penance, fasting and
rituals to be the Indian culture. When a youth does not go to the
temple and apply tilak, the elders of the house say in a very hopeless
and weary voice, What to do, generation has changed children
have forgotten culture, customs, traditions and blindly follow
western ways.
On the other hand, some learned people take pride in deriding
Indian religion, spiritual culture and sanatan tradition as superstition,
fraud and hypocrisy, and think they have become developed, and
they make fun of religious people and call them ignorant, foolish,
etc. In the 40th chapter of Yajurveda, it is written that the people for
whom science and technological progress is the only goal in life live
in utter darkness; but in deeper darkness than them are those who
live life only engrossed in devotion, rituals and spirituality, ignoring
everything else.
It is further described in Yajurveda that to live happily in this
world, scientific inventions are also necessary, and for happiness
and peace of the soul, spirituality in the form of devotion, worship,
meditation and Samadhi are also very necessary. That is, in Indian
culture, materialism and spiritualism are believed to complement
each other. In the absence of study, understanding and thought, the
Indian culture today only concentrates on temples and holy places.
This is not proper. Equal importance is given to knowledge, science
and worship in the Vedas. The Indian culture is not one-sided, it is
multifaceted.
Our ancestral sages were experts in geology, astrology, surgery
and philosophy. Our forefathers were familiar with all kinds of
knowledge including aircraft, science, telephone, television,
education and health, etc. Unfortunately, after Mahabharata the
downfall of the Indian culture began. With the passage of time, the
description of religion and culture was limited to the fulfilment of
selfish whims, and we limit our scientific religion to only external
rituals.
Today, it has again become necessary to rise above obstinacy
and selfishness and look at the Indian tradition and culture with the
light of science, and this is the eternal truth that India and the Indians
were never against science, and our culture is totally for science.
The study and research of Vedic socialism, class systems, Vedic
education system, knowledge of ancient Ayurvedic tradition, Vedic
agricultural tradition, Vedic mathematics, Vedic astrology and vastu
shastra, etc. is necessary. It is only by understanding and experiencing
the complete foundation of ancient Indian culture and civilization
that we will be able to say with pride that the Indian culture is better
than the western culture!
12. Earth is becoming barren with dangerous chemicals
If the profit gained in the name of fertilizers is given to farmers
then there wont be any shortage of food grains in the country
In the Sanskrit language, the word kshetra is used equally to
denote both the body as well as agricultural field. In Hindi literature,
the word Khet or field is used instead. There is a deep connection
between the bodily field and the agricultural field. This is because
whatever is sown in the fields ultimately comes into the human
field, that is, it comes into the stomach. The human body is nourished
by food grains and milk from animals that is again formed from the
grass they chew. The green revolution has had some bad effects on
both the fields agricultural as well as the body. With the bad effects
of dangerous chemicals, the fields are either barren or are in the
process of becoming barren. With the entry of chemical products
inside the stomach, there has been an onslaught of terrible diseases
such as cancer, diabetes, heart diseases, high blood pressure,
obesity, thyroid, kidney and liver diseases, etc. With the heavy use
of chemical fertilizers, the fertility of the land has decreased and at
the same time, with the sexual prowess of men, infertility is
increasing in women because of fertilizers. If we take a look at the
total use of fertilizers in 2003-2004, the heart beats rapidly as 16
thousand million 80 crore kg of chemicals had been offered to
mother earth in just one year.
If we divide this amount by Indias population, which we
consider to be 112 crore, then an average of 15 kgs has been used
per person. Approximately 1.25 kg of poison comes into a family
every month, and affects everyone from the babies to the old
people. The rumour that the crop production is increasing because
of urea, and chemical fertilizers is being spread all over the nation
primarily to satisfy selfish needs. The reality, on the other hand, is
that the naturally produced insects in the soil are being destroyed
because of excessive use of urea. Crop production increases because
of the fertilizer that is produced on their death and not because of
urea. Urea on mixing with animal dung produces a chemical reaction
that increases crop production. Try and use only urea without any
animal dung or leaves, and you will see that even the crop burns
out. Another shocking element behind these chemical fertilizers is
that the manufacturers get Rs 12 lakh to 622 crore each year in the
form of subsidy from the government.
The government gives this subsidy to the companies that
manufacture urea and other chemical fertilizers because it is
expensive to make such fertilizers, and the companies sell them at
low costs to the farmers. That is, the government makes good the
loss of these companies. If the profit attained from fertilizers is
given directly to farmers then the necessary crop can be achieved
with animal dung fertilizers and organic fertilizers. This wont lead
to the shortage of food grains, and the fields of mother earth and
the stomachs of human beings will also be safe. At the same time,
the animal wealth of crores of rupees being cut down each year will
also be safe. If this happens, then we will also be free from the sin
of cow-slaughter, and the fields too will be safe from becoming
barren. If only! If the minds and hearts of the policy makers of our
nation were a little more positive then every field in the nation
would prospere. (Compilation of writings published in 2005).

Meaning Being created from the aa accent (vast, fire, world,

Aditya, divine knowledge, etc.), the word Om occupies the high-
est position amongst all names of the Lord. The meanings of all
names come into it. The Lord who is more beloved than even life
and who is the basis of the world is also known as Bhuh. He who
removes all sorrow from those who are desirous of salvation, that
kindhearted Lord is Bhuvah. He who is omnipresent and keeps con-
trol over the entire world and Brahma is the place of residence for
everyone, that Supreme Lords name is Swaha.
He who creates the world and is the father and master of
everyone, He who is the best and is worthy of choosing, He who is
without chaos, sinless, pure, free from all faults, mature, salvation,
science, He who lights and gives joy to the entire world we worship
that Supreme Lord. For what use? Only by acquiring Him we will be

(The nations slumber self-respect has again awakened today;
With the rays of the east has come a golden chariot. Self-respect
has once again awakened due to increasing atrocity for genera-
tions; Ignorance has gone away and everyone has awakened.
Yogarishi has sung today the victory song of culture.
Covered with the snow this garland of mountains; simmering
inside are volcanoes of destruction. In these flames can be seen
the rise of India.
Today again, Lord Shiva has awakened, with each rhythm of his
dance, sins get vanquished. The monkey army has awakened,
the forest dwellers have awakened. An ascetic has moved for-
ward to unite the world with yoga. Today, once again Bharat
Swabhiman is blowing the conch shell.
In the name of governance is spread exploitation and disbelief;
corruption and dishonesty is increasing, crime is on the rise; the
youth of India have awakened, Hindustan is awake.)

(Today the earth will resound with the slogans of self-re-
spect; these sounds will clash with the guards of the
nationVande Mataram
We move forward to make India a world leader; to make a
new India, to bring paradise on the earth. Laughing and singing
we will cross over embers and thorns.
We will do 100% voting, make India healthy; accept nation-
alism, make India one. We will free Mother India from traitors.
If you havent yet joined us, there is still time, come and join;
stand with us to fight corruption; bring new freedom, new
change, new systems.
We have read the texts of discipline, adopted yoga; Corrup-
tion, injustice and bad governance, whatever has tortured us;
Indias self-respect has awakened, the victory bugle has sounded;
We will free India from the atrocities and sins.)

I die, my shroud be indigenous.
Mountains may break, storms may come; even if death calls,
even then let my aim be indigenous.

become self-dependent, that policy is indigenous. The garments

(O brave soul of the land, wake up; where is the call coming
from? Mother India is calling you to lay your life for her dignity.
The land of India is paradise, its water is nectar; each child is
Bhagat Singh, sisters are Jhansi Ki Rani.
Again foreigners are robbing us, see how the hearts are beat-
ing. Today the country is getting tangled in the nets of slavery;
That which we have decorated is being robbed constantly; let us
again destroy that enemy. There will be no poverty in this na-
tion, nor will there be unemployment; let the money of the na-

self-respect has awakened, the voice is coming from the skies, O
