Additional Reflection Questions for Weeks 2-3:
(1)What did Shakespeare mean when he said first, lets kill all the
lawyers? If President Duterte were to quote that now in relation to his
war on drugs, what would be your response?
(2)Can we serve God and neighbor as lawyers?
(3)Must lawyers draw a line between their professional and personal lives?

Reflection Questions for Week 4:

(1)There is a view that lawyers must be professional, that is, dispassionate
in dealing with the law, setting aside their faith and moral considerations.
How does that square with Timothy Floyds view that the professional life
should not be separated from ones personal life, and Justice Pompeyo
Diazs view that a lawyer must have a conscience?
(2)Patrick Schiltz warns you that you are entering an unhappy, unhealthy,
and unethical profession.
o What accounts for the unhappiness, unhealthiness, and unethicalness that Mr. Schiltz describes?
o How do you feel about entering the profession after having read
this article?
(3)Based on the readings, what are the challenges that lawyers face in their
practice of the profession?
