From The Editor

Hello and welcome to the December 2016 edition of Holden Torque. December is upon us
already. A great day was had at the Christmas Party / Trophy Day. Congratulations to all the
trophy winners and all those that brought their cars out to display. They looked superb all
together at Patterson Park. A big thank you to all those that keep putting in the extra effort
that makes this day so successful and enjoyable. With the festive (silly) season upon us
please take a little extra care when getting around. Have a safe and Merry Christmas and a
Happy New Year.

Runs Report December 2016

In accordance with the club constitution there will be an attendance book at each club run
for members to sign, we are also now keeping a record of H plated cars attending events
in order to ensure we see all club cars on runs as is required under the constitution. So if
you attend a run it is your responsibility make sure your details are recorded in the book.
There will be a full report on Crazy About Chrome at the December meeting and a special
CAC newsletter after that. Watch this space for some big news.

12/13 Nov End of an Era show, Port Macquarie.

We travelled to Port Mac on Sat and had lunch at Coopernook pub. Then a few drinks and
BBQ next to the water and even sang a little Karaoke (Not very well). There were around 11
members cars at the show and an estimated 400 Holdens and Fords on show.
Robin and Jon Bambach and Judy and Bruce Soper put on a fantastic display with their cars
and the Sopers won best 50s trophy.
A special thank you to those members who couldnt bring their classic cars but came along
anyway.
