Title of Lesson: Managing my own stress

will ask students what types
of stresses they currently
have in their life. I will then
ask them what happened to
their bodies when they are
stressed and what they do in
order to become less stressed.

I will have the class sit on the floor and
we will practice different stress
management techniques together.

Practice different yoga
positions in the classroom.

I will open the class by asking the students what stresses they have in
their life
I will then pull up the website and go through it with the students.
I will initiate conversation about why being stressed isnt good for a
healthy lifestyle.
I will ask students to stand up and stretch.
I will then have students sit on the floor and we will practice breathing
and yoga.
We will then have a conversation about how much more relaxed that
made us feel.
