Well,simplewaytounderstand,carnotisaideal,butrankineisexclusivelyusedfor
steampowerplant.Butifwewanttoanalyzethesituation,andwesuperimposeboth
graphononeanother,particularlyTSdiagram,wewouldfind:
1.Pumpworkrequiredisveryhighincaseofcarnotcyclewhichisnotpossible,because
wehavetoextractworksoturbineworkhastogreaterthanpumpwork.
2.Sinceincaseofboiler,wehavetoincreasethepressure,itcanbedoneonlyby
increasingtemperature,butincarnotitisshowingatconstanttemperaturewhichis
notpossible.
Thesearebasicallytwobasicdifference,whichihavewritten.Ifyoufindanydifficulty,or
anythingwrong,Kindlymessageme.
