Objectives

During my teaching practice period in semester 7 I went through some difficulties.

Implementatio
n strategies

Students were misbehaving continuously during teaching time which affected on the
improvement of their learning progress.
Moving around the classroom at any time students want caused an organization
issues which wasted the time of the lesson and confused my planning ideas.
In Semester 7 and 8
First strategy

From week 2 to 4:
- I illustrated classroom
rules to the students
using the display.
- I Used the stars board
method to encourage
the good behaviors.

Second strategy

Third strategy

From week 3 to 7:
- I assigned group leaders
cards to the students.
- I Made active students
get busy by helping the
teacher in distributing
the materials and
remind their colleagues
to finish the task or help
them.

During the full weeks of


practicum :
- I used the bell to
make students
freeze during any
time that the
teacher want to say
or announce about
something
important.
- I asked other
teachers who were
teaching the same
group of students
to apply the same
method in their
other classes.

My plan is to maintain on the same strategies for both semesters


Managing learning (classroom management): My rule as a student teacher by planning for
this professional development goal, is to establish rules and maintain a clear attitudes for
the student behaviors in the classroom. So, my focus is to use a suitable strategies to
encourage students participation.
Commitment to the profession: The implantation strategies that I am going to use will show
a high standard of professional behavior. It is also will display how much am a punctual and
organized teacher.

I believe that my strategies are so simple and easy to achieve. I concluded that the
strategies were useful for the students and for me as well. Because, eventually the
students were behaving in a good way unlike how they were behaving at the beginning of
the semester. Also, my skills on planning and managing the lessons were improved.
Because, while I was teaching, I received and observed that the students were working on
their tasks in a better way. Because, I kept remind them of these managing strategies in
each lesson I teach. So, day by day they got the idea of how to behave in order to achieve
the work. In my opinion, these strategies worked very well with these group of students.
Because, there are still young and they are acceptable to any managing strategy, if there
was a good sequences.
