2. Make Deped form 138 using mailings.
3. Show appreciation of the advantages of using mailings in filling data.

*Present to the participants a video on:


The Importance of Microsoft Excel
*Ask: What are your insights about the presentations?
* Call on some participants to give responses.

*Present the steps in encoding Deped form 138 in the Microsoft Word and in the
Microsoft Excel.
*Ask the participants to share their insights about the presentation.
*Let the participants make a sample data using the steps in filling data using the
mailings.
*After making, let each participant explains her/his work.
After viewing the participants outputs, process the responses.

competencies in using ICT for improved learner performance.
- Clear training objectives will lead the participants to the desired goal.
- Agreed learning expectations will guarantee the participants and
facilitators to work together in achieving their aspirations.
- A set of House Rules will support the smooth conduct of the training.
- Sharing of noble ideas can widen the perspective of participants.

The facilitators will present through Power Point/Discussion of the following:
Importance of the training
Training-workshop is a process designed to assist teachers to learn new skills,
knowledge, or attitudes (KSAs). As a result, these teachers make a change that

improves or enhances their performance. These improvements ensure that


teachers and the school organization are able to do things better, faster, easier
and with higher quality and a better return of investment.
The Training Objectives:
1. Improve their skills in using ICT.
2. Enhance their knowledge and skills in maintaining a safe and orderly
classrooms.
3. Show appreciation of the advantages of using IMs/Technology aided
instruction to ensure successful learning.
4. Familiarize the policy and guidelines on protecting the children in school
from abuse, violence, exploitation, discrimination, bullying, and other
forms of abuse.
5. Identify various alternative positive approaches in lieu of corporal
punishment.
6. Demonstrate positive approaches to child discipline in handling specific
childrens behaviour.
7. Appreciate the importance of Child Protection Policy to pupils and
teachers.
Learning Approaches/Methodology
The learning activities during the 40 hour Formal Face-to-face (F3) Training
Program follow the andragogical p.rinciples or using Activity, Analysis,
Abstraction, And Application (4As).
Expected Final Outcome/ Success Indicator
A behaviour change in the hearts of teachers who are competent, committed,
passionate, and practitioners of effective teaching.
