EXPERIENCE
Provided differentiated integrated 5th grade language arts and social studies instruction;
assessed students using appropriate reading diagnostic tools to determine areas of
specific reading and writing difficulties; designed and implemented individualized
literacy intervention plans based on assessment analyses; developed revised reading and
writing curriculum for grades 5 through 8 as a member of the Language Arts Curriculum
Committee; worked collaboratively with 4th grade teachers to design and implement
strategies to ease students transition from the Lower School to the Upper School.

Developed and delivered differentiated instruction in 8th grade language arts and social
studies based on state curriculum guidelines; with teammate, initiated changes
resulting in a shift from homogeneously to heterogeneously grouped classes at the
middle and high school levels; conducted peer observations of and provided
instructional feedback and support to beginning teachers; organized and directed newteacher induction and mentor program; coached beginning teachers in lesson
development and classroom management; assisted third-year teachers in applying for
state teaching license; served as liaison between new teachers and local licensing officer.

Design and deliver staff development workshops and seminars focused on continual
improvement and the assessment cycle in higher education; provide individualized
guidance and training in the development of assessment plans and measures.
Oversaw the operations and programs of the Office of Alumni Affairs in their entirety;
managed professional and student staff in daily operations and team projects; oversaw
the preparation, monitoring, updating and evaluation of annual business plan and
budget; established and fostered positive relationships with alumni, current students,
campus partners, and community leaders to advance the university; ensured that the
Office of Alumni Affairs and the Alumni Association adhered to all state, CSU system and
university policies governing procurement, alumni associations, and fundraising;
provided direction in developing and implementing fundraising events undertaken by
the Alumni Association and its chapters; represented the university and Alumni
Association at various events.
Developed and implemented the transition of the Alumni Association from a dues-based
membership model to an open, non-dues program; coordinated an overall
